Sairee View Resort in Koh Tao Island

It was an excellent stay. Although it’s been a week since we left, we enjoyed our two-week stay at Sairee View Resort immensely. Andrew and the staff were fabulous; they were so helpful and made our Koh Tao holidays truly enjoyable. This was my second time on the island, but I definitely enjoyed it more this time around.
The bungalow we stayed in was comfortable and cozy, surrounded by the natural sounds of the jungle at night (if wildlife noises bother you, I’d suggest using earplugs). The breakfast and the pool were a major plus!
Definitely recommend it.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had an amazing stay. Our host Andrew, was absolutely marvelous, he was very friendly, helpful and informative giving us guidance on everything from things to do on the island to teaching us how to ride a moped.

The resort itself is kept very well in immaculate condition and is clearly very meticulously maintained.
Our room couldn’t have been more perfect and the resort provided us with bottled water every day. Snacks and beverages are readily available even outside of working hours where you are trusted to leave your room number and pay at the end of your stay.
Even after we had checked out we were able to rent the bike from the resort for a few days afterwards which was extremely helpful and Andrew continued to be of great help to us.

This was our most pleasant stay on the beautiful island paradise of Koh Tao and I couldn’t rate it any higher.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights when we were in Koh Tao. We would really recommend this place, the views are amazing and the rooms are nice and modern compared to others we have stayed in (the shower was separated from the bathroom which is rare in thailand!). The best part about this hotel is the lovely manager, Andrew. He made our stay 10x better, the hotel is up quite a steep hill so he kindly taught my boyfriend how to ride a motorbike (took him on a 20ish min lesson for free) and then let us rent a bike for a good price and no deposit (also rare in thailand). He was helpful at all times and gave us loads of tips throughout our stay. Thanks so much Andrew!

Great experience staying here for 5 nights. Beautiful views and very relaxing stay. Andrew the manager/host was extremely helpful and friendly, and made our stay even better. One word of warning, the path to the resort is quite steep, so you need a bit of experience on a moped to ride up I’d imagine. Otherwise you can always get a taxi to and from Sairee town. I had a wonderful time in the beautiful bungalow with the big ocean-view window and AC. For me it felt like home. Andrew always had some nice words for us and was helpful with motorbike problems and so on. The only thing you should know is, if you go there you really need a motorbike. If you are scared to drive, you should stay somewhere nearer to the beach. But it’s amazing how quiet and save the resort is, because it’s on the hill in the jungle. For me it was perfect ❤️

If you’re looking for a peaceful place with incredible views, comfortable beds, then this is the place to stay!! I absolutely loved my 10 days here. Andrew was an amazing host and really helpful with things to do on the island, restaurant recommendations, scooter hire, and top tips for Koh Tao. The lady (I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name) was also very friendly and always happy to help. They serve a really reasonably priced breakfast, and have a small selection of drinks and snacks for when food is finished. There aren’t any restaurants close by but the rooms have a refrigerator so you can stock up from 7-11 or if you can ride a scooter the main area is only a 5 minute drive away. I can’t recommend this place enough and if I ever return to Koh Tao I will 100% stay here again! The hammock, the pool, the beautiful sunset view, it’s just perfect! Thank you so much guys

We were very well looked after at Sairee View. The hosts are super friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. Beautiful views up the mountain. A 10-15min stroll downhill to the town, with fab nightlife and amazing restaurants. A bit of a tough stroll uphill home, but we did it both nights, so it’s definitely possible. The beds were super comfy. The rooms with air conditioning are worth every penny. Bring your own toiletries, and prepare for the walk (taxis are also super easy to arrange and the hosts can help you, or rent you bikes) and this place is the perfect tranquil hotel. Thanks so much!

As the name of the resort suggests it's up the hill and offers a lovely view. It's also very peaceful. When you walk down the hill to the road (a bit steep, but we didn't have any trouble driving up), across from the resort you can rent bikes and I saw there was a laundry service. It's a short drive to Sairee beach. There was also a motorbike available at the resort. The pool is very nice, but not suitable if you want to swim laps. They offered breakfast and drinks beside the pool. We stayed in a cabin, which had a big ventilator. It was very cozy. Out of all places we went during our holiday this was our favorite and also the cheapest. There was a hammock on the porch. As we stayed in a cabin there were a few lizards in the shower that came through the cracks. There were a lot of mosquito's on the porch, but there was a mosquito net above the bed so I was not too bothered by it. You do have to consider the fact that also insects can come in, such as spiders. We had a pretty big one in our room. The host was very kind and helpful and let us check in early as I was a bit ill. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!
