The hotel is located on the mountain and location is very good, the room as well, very quiet place.

The rooms are spread out on the hillside, and the front desk staff's service attitude was just okay, with limited English skills. I wouldn't particularly recommend it; overall, it was a mediocre experience. I booked a snorkeling trip through the front desk, and they didn't remind me about important details like needing to bring an island entry ticket.

The accommodation is about a 5-minute ride from the port by shared taxi. Since the cottages are located on a small hill, getting to rooms on higher floors might be a bit challenging, but I think it makes for good exercise. Really enjoyed our stay. Nice staff, nice bungalows, just across from the beach. But be ready to climb a few stairs up to your room if you get one that’s up the hill. I didn’t mind, but if you’re opposed to potentially walking up a bit of a hill, maybe request one that’s not up the path too far.

The location is excellent, everything is close by. The room was clean upon check-in. There was no housekeeping during my 3-day stay. Maybe that's normal for the price.

The room is compact, but the bed is large and the sheets are clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. It's fully equipped with appliances and amenities. Inside the room, there's a refrigerator, fan, television, hairdryer, and air conditioning.

Great location, with bars and massage places nearby, plus fruit stalls and all sorts of evening activities. Despite being right on a pedestrian street with lots of tourist foot traffic, my room was surprisingly quiet. There's no point booking more expensive hotels if you just need a place to sleep before exploring the island. In my opinion, for this price, it's FANTASTIC! Thanks!

I stayed here for three nights in December 2025 and again in January 2026. The second time I stayed, there was no shelf in the room to put my belongings. The internet was good, and they cleaned every day. They also provided two bottles of water and coffee daily.

A very good hotel in a stunningly beautiful location. Quiet beach, not many people, cozy houses, friendly staff. One of the nuances is that the cuisine is not the strongest when compared with other places on the island. There is a shop with everything you need.

The Lost Resort is a fantastic budget accommodation just a short walk from the beach on beautiful Koh Samed. The rooms were tidy and clean, with Aircon and decent bathrooms. It's not the Hilton, but it's a perfect base for a group on an island weekend.

A very pleasant beachfront resort, featuring a cozy courtyard and a nice cafe. A great bonus was the option to work in the cafe late at night, as there was a table with a power outlet nearby. The staff were also very friendly.

The accommodation was generally decent. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very engaging. My only complaint was the presence of too many flies while dining.

It's a bit dangerous to walk to the hotel in the evening/night, the road is poorly lit and there are also stray dogs, but the room itself is nice and tidy. See for yourself

Tonsak Resort is fabulous! Clean and so beautiful. The staff are friendly, and the food and drinks are delicious. It's also super conveniently located, with many restaurants, massage parlours, and two 7-11s nearby. I stayed at another resort on the island after this one, but I wish I had continued my stay at Tonsak. Highly recommended!

The room was quite spacious and newly renovated. The location was excellent, close to both the sea and the main street, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. For me, Tub Tim Resort is the best choice on Koh Samet, mainly because of its location. The beach here is stunning and peaceful – much nicer than the nearby “party beach” with the famous bar. We were welcomed to Blue Moon by a lovely host who was incredibly helpful. We had moved from another hotel and were so happy we chose this one! It’s in a great location - quiet, clean, and very comfortable. The only small thing I’d suggest is adding a mirror in the bedroom area, as the one in the bathroom is very dark, but overall it was a wonderful stay and we’d definitely come back!

To my opinion it's one of the best hotels on the one of the best islands in Thailand. Why? Beacause you can walk to many biutiful beaches from this place, and you have shop nearby, and a center of the city not very far if you need it. Local beach is 30seconds from your room number. And very biutiful garden... breakfest is good. And of course here we have very nice disco in evening.

I was recommended this place for dinner but came twice both for lunch and dinner it was so good. Massive menu with a great choice of traditional Thai food, the best I had while in Koh Samed. Try the oysters. In the evening theee is a fire show in the beach at 9pm. An immersive and enjoyable experience. Make sure this is on your list for Koh Samed.
