Crescent Bay Resort! 🏖️ Get ready for a beachside bliss-out that's as relaxing as a sloth on a sun lounger! 😌 Imagine a place where you can swap your worries for waves 🌊, your stress for sunshine ☀️, and your shoes for... well, nothing, because you're on a beach! 👣
Picture yourself lounging by the pool 🏊, sipping on a fruity cocktail 🍹, and wondering if you should order another plate of nachos (spoiler...
I liked the location by the sea, two meters and a terrace, a very friendly owner. Everything is often, but the rooms already need major repairs and a change of furniture, bed linen, everything is tired.
The TV is broken and cannot be watched. The resort did not inform us. The bed is hard.
We decided to come to the island to this hotel for one night to celebrate my birthday! Gorgeous location of the beach 33 steps from the room to the sea. The room is large, clean linen. But there is no hot water as such. Wi-Fi is excellent, even on the beach. Drinking water is replenished and coffee. Very hospitable and attentive owner. From the very morning he cleans the territory. Sets up umbrellas...
It’s a great location directly on the beach front and at a much more affordable rate than the surrounding properties. Just be aware what to expect. The hotel has only a handful of rooms, and are secured with a padlock. The room is spacious and the air conditioning is very strong, but the AC does leak condensation if running for extended periods. The shower has moderate amounts of hot water, best to...
Perfect location and very nice staff. Right on the beach. Deckchair and umbrella included in room price. Relaxed atmosphere and good restaurant in the same location. Definitely recommended.
From Ban Phe pier take the speed boat directly to Wong Duean pier (800 baht 2 ways), you'll get straight to Crescent Bay hotel!

Food is good but not Wow. Deep fired supposed to be more crispy but it looks like they steamed it before deep fired it. And something more about deep fire or crispy its good but i expected more so just 3 out of 5.

Great view. Facilities are well cleaned. Place is really quite, its perfect get away from the hustling and bustling city. I feel like i regained my energy and peace of mind. This is my new place to go whenever i get a vacation. Will definitely go back again and enjoy the sea breeze.

I've been meaning to throw these guys a 5-star review since we got back on from our Honeymoon 5 years ago. I've literally thought about this place that much since then. Prior to coming here, we stayed at the 5-star Hilton in Bangkok but we had much better customer service here with Baan Supparod than the Hilton.
I just really appreciate the simple life they cultivate with the bungalo type housing...
Beautiful small resort with bungalows. Clean and comfy. Good bed. Interesting and vibrant color-scheme in the rooms. A hair-dryer would be a good addition to the room amenities. Free water and coffee in the room. Good location on the north side of the island, a short walk or motorcycle ride to the "main street". No breakfast available during our stay, probably because of covid-19. Nice small chairs...
Great staff with great and friendly service. Breakfast was alright and you will for sure get full. The restaurant are compared to those on the beach amongst the better ones.
The cabin/room could've used some more storage and some thorough cleaning every once in a while would be good.

Tonsak Resort is fabulous! Clean and so beautiful. The staff are friendly, and the food and drinks are delicious. It's also super conveniently located, with many restaurants, massage parlours, and two 7-11s nearby. I stayed at another resort on the island after this one, but I wish I had continued my stay at Tonsak. Highly recommended!
The room was quite spacious and newly renovated. The location was excellent, close to both the sea and the main street, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. You can even pay with Alipay at 7-Eleven. Be aware that children over 4 years old (or was it 3?) incur an extra charge of 700 THB per day for the room, plus 200 THB per day for the buffet breakfast. So, if you're traveling with kids...
The room was quite new and spacious, and the location was excellent – right off the main street and bus stop. It wasn't noisy at night either. The beach restaurant was also good. Few staff spoke English, and no one spoke Chinese. Breakfast was decent.
The best value-for-money hotel on Koh Samet!!! Five-star recommendation!!!
The location is right in the middle of Diamond Beach, and the hotel is right by the sea. It's decorated in a very trendy, Instagrammable style, perfect for taking photos.

Just a short ride from the pier, walking distance. Clean and comfortable and the beach is gorgeous.
Facilities: The room is equipped with a refrigerator, TV, complimentary tea bags/instant coffee, free bottled water, and a large bathtub. There's also a sofa and a small table right outside the room.
Cleanliness: Clean.
Environment: The entire resort is surrounded by tropical vegetation, with lush greenery in the public areas, creating a fresh and natural ambiance. The resort is right next to the beach...

Hotel was right on the beach and the staff were very helpful with booking taxis as the main area is quite a walk from the hotel
Good hotel in a quiet area with delicious breakfasts. However, the rooms weren't super clean, even though the staff tried their best. Overall, it's a great place.
Clean - Quiet - large rooms - small beach - very peaceful and friendly- swimming pool
There were simply too many bugs. Ants were crawling all over the bed, and I barely slept a wink all night. It was a very disappointing stay.
The hotel room was decent. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but you can still find restaurants nearby for meals. However, reaching the island's main center definitely requires a car.
Love the service, all staff are kind!

The friendly staff, exceptional food (particularly breakfast), clean and comfortable rooms in a tropical style and stunning views from the private beach were exceptional.
The staff at breakfast, “Kanya” was particularly attentive to my special dietary requirements. Every morning she prepared my omelette with my speciality without any prompt or reminder. We had a wonderful stay at the Tubtim Resort...
We booked the beach banglow. Which was a little small for my liking however it was bang on the beach. I would recommend this place to whoevers likes to sleep with the sound of waves. As it's remote please don't expect 5star service. I would recommend you go prepared if travelling with a kid etc as there are not many stores nearby.
Always get to come back here. The tourism on the island is changing which is not great but this place has kept its charm and its lovely staff. The food is great, the beds are comfy.. a bit of the old school vibe in the wooden bungalows is a reminder of how Thailand used to be.
Shame about the coffee at breakfast ;)

We would like to thank the hosts and all the staff of this wonderful place. Our family came for 1 night but stayed for 4. A beautiful spot, clean beach, stunning views. The beds in our bungalow were very comfortable, the air conditioning...
For me, Tub Tim Resort is the best choice on Koh Samet, mainly because of its location. The beach here is stunning and peaceful – much nicer than the nearby “party beach” with the famous bar. That one is fun to visit, especially on weekends, but definitely too loud to stay at. Tub Tim is also close enough to the island’s main tourist beach, with plenty of shops and bars, but it still feels far more...

Very nice place. The best Tom Kha Kai i have eaten in Thailand 😋
Decent place for staying. Take a bike from the pier to travel here. Value for money place with decent breakfast. Cafe is a bit expensive
Pretty nice but the WiFi was very slow.
Nice private beach, good coffee cafe and bar. Everything is pricey here - recommend to buy snacks and drinks at 7-11 or pier before go to island. A la carte breakfast only!
Great rooms, great beach, great food and great staff. Good price to quality ratio on a high season public holiday weekend
It’s a quiet and nice place, and it’s worth to upgrade from the garden room to the beach front bungalow. The food is a bit expensive and so-so.. Go to the restaurant next door for lunch/dinner..👌🏽

Great hotel where to stay when you go to Samet. Closed by the pier and near by the beach too. The staff is very attentive and available for anything you need.
nice resort .room layout sucked , as you walk into the
room you stepped into the bathroom ,then up stairs to the bed room with a sitting room off to the side ,witch the little ac could not keep up with.
good food and great location on the beach
Stayed here for 2 nights and although it was nice, considering that the price was almost 7000 baht, it wasn't anything special.
My room looked and smelled clean upon checking in. However it lacked some basic amenities for a hotel in this price range such as soap, a kettle etc...
The temperature on the remote didn't work so as long as the A/C was on, the room was uncomfortably cold.
There are two pools...
Quiet Mid level hotel.
little far from the main street.
About 20 minutes from the main Pier and.
to Saikaew Beach, 15 minutes on foot
Small Pool is usually empty and has 10 sun bath chairs.
Not many choices but not bad breakfast.
7 eleven is 12 minutes away around the beach gate.
Motor Bike is the best way to hang around the island and at the corner of the hotel you can find the rental shop.
Fantastic hotel a short walk from the main beach. The pool side rooms are excellent. The breakfast could be more elaborate.
Lovely, clean and pleasant hotel near the island's liveliest beach. The hotel is located in a quiet street. Breakfast good and friendly staff. Room spacious and bright. Clean pool areas for flora in the middle. Lovely Anne served in the hotel bar. I like.

Nice and affordable hotel. Walking distance from the pier. Breakfast is ok (order your omelet and WAIT for it, don’t go anywhere). Stuff sometimes have difficulty speaking English, but they will always call someone that speaks English.
Beautiful place, you have your private beach, a small swimming pool next to the ocean, some innovating sits to stay next to or under the sea, my favorite were the bets next to the beach. The room is big and clean, more than a hotel looks like a beautiful apartment with your big yard. Totally recommend.
We were a bit upset at first sight because the hotel isn’t match the photos provided BUT then we realized how cool the spot is.
Location is pretty close to the center, but quite enough. The view and atmosphere are great, hotel staff is attentive and room cleaning is just awesome.
BTW they give a 15% discount in the restaurant if you are staying at the hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay at Sleepless Society. Don`t lat the name fool you though - this is no party place. The resort is located away from shops, pubs and all the noise. A very nice place to stay, away from the main drag in a calm and relaxing part of the island. There’s a bar and restaurant as part of the resort, open late, serving good quality western and Thai food, good prices and it is literally right on the beach.
There’s a road but the noise wasn’t a problem at all, certainly when compared to other places on the island in the hectic areas.
Rooms are simple...
A little slice of paradise in paradise.
Relaxed place that feels like Thailand 15 years ago - a charming little find just a short stroll from the pier.
Excellent staff and a fantastic owner. They looked after us and our little baby girl so well that it felt like a second home.
Stayed at Minnie's other place in town, which was also wonderful. Came here for a G&T at the beach bar and it was perfect. Stunning views, really chilled and the young lady at the bar was so friendly and helpful! A superb place, and Minnie is an absolute diamond. 100% would visit again, thank you Minnie@
I only came for the bar. The view and landscape are perfect for chilling in the afternoon. The sunlight and the cool breeze are just right. you can enjoy your drink in the shade of the trees or sit in the sun to work on your tan. I ordered the Orange Vodka it’s smooth and delicious. The owner is really nice, which makes this place even more gorgeous.
Great place, beautiful bungalows, away from the hustle and hustle so you can sleep in peace but still close enough to get to the center of activity in just a short 15 minute walk.
The owner ist super friendly and gave me great recommendations on where to find the restaurats that are frequented by the locals.
I loved it there!

The hotel has a good location; everything is within walking distance. We liked the 'Thai-style villa' room, which is a small house, but the bathroom was tiny. The sea is close by, but the breakfasts were a surprise, and the person who fries eggs is a whole other story. We haven't met such unwelcoming people in all our years of vacationing in Thailand. He just stands there and ignores you, and you don...
I didn't have high expectations for hotels on Koh Samet, assuming they'd all be simple guesthouses. So, I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel was better than anticipated. The location isn't far from the main street, about a 10-minute walk, and it's towards the quieter end of the beach. While it can still be noisy, it's likely better than hotels in the middle of the beach. The cleanliness was acceptable
Cons: The sea view was practically non-existent, blocked by a large canopy and a restaurant (as shown in the picture). The garden's lawn was artificial, and because of the strong Thai sun, there was always a plastic smell emanating from it. The breakfast was almost inedible.
Pros: Very close to the beach, right on the beachfront.
Great place right on the beach - didn’t want to leave!
Good location but should be more attentive on bathrom cleanliness and get rid of mosquitos and bed bug before guest check-in. We had bad experience of itchy rash by mosquito and bed bug. After report to hotel staff, they acctively help.

Great at most aspect. Very close to sea with Seaview. Room is very nice feel. But breakfast too limited
Absolutely amazing small resort with an extraordinary friendly resort staff. We walked along several beaches on Koh Samet and didn't regret anything. As breakfast they have enough choice and it was possible to get your meals customized e.g. for vegetarians.
For us the best place to stay on Koh Samet! Everyday should be a summerday experience. Thanks to the team.
It is located on the beach.
Pros:
Tidy and clean.
Helping staff.
Easy access to beach.
Near the main market and 7-11.
Spacious rooms.
Cons:
Initially hard to reach from jetty.
Limited food options and costly as well. But all of the restaurants on the beach are costly.
Small and tiny resort, there are only 6 rooms, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good location, the speed boat goes directly to the beach. And it’s nearby the restaurants and bars. Highly recommended.
Homey place, plain and simple accommodation with excellent and friendly service. Great ocean view from the rooms. Step off the front porch of a room and you're on the beach within 20 steps. Highly recommended.

Rooms: The wooden style villa looks similar to as described. However there were little ants in our appartment and the balcony was especially disappointing. We've had a good time here. Spent five nights in total. We booked the garden view bungalow and it was as expected regarding the fair price. Clean place, free water daily, had no issues. Breakfast is fine too. There's plenty of stuff to choose from, including freshly made egg varieties and such.
It's located at one of the best beaches on the island and there's no noise from bars like on other beaches...
Mixed one, definatley the dissapointment of our trip but not a bad hotel per se. The location is a bit painful but the beach is probably one of the best, if not the best on the island as the water is clear as there is little water traffic and it has a long shallow slope with no rocks. The room was a dissapointment I did think that for the price it would be bigger and I had opted for the pool option...
stayed here for two nights, the room it's OK for me not so good & not too bad either and staffs is very nice & friendly.
about breakfast not that good to compare with the room rate/night not so much choice to eat and the salad wasn't that fresh not and good dressing either!! anyway we still happy to stay here!
Very nice resort and a beautiful beach
One of the nicest beach in the island! And I truly mean that because I've explored almost all of the beaches here. Nice view, but also nice to swim in. The water was warm! Some spots even somehow have that secluded feeling.

Good value for this money. 5 mins walk from the beach. Hotel is clean, room is big. 7/11 and many restaraunts are near.

Lovely 4 days stay. Nicely decorated and clean rooms. Big space (room + bathroom). Calm at night. Decent breakfast with few but suffisant options. Helpful staff.
This budget hotel is located right next to two 7eleven stores, a 3-4-minute walk to the sea. For the price I paid (~1,350 baht per night, including breakfast), it was generally acceptable.
