Jitwilai Place in Ayutthaya City

Clean, quiet, comfortable and quite well located. Very good value for money. Easy to find. Walking distance from the historical park, a few restaurants, food stalls and a nice breakfast place (turn left then left again - 6 Mong Chao (6am, but opens at 5am!)). The hotel is Thai-style, clean, and there's no kettle or refrigerator in the room. Hot water is always available at reception. The room has a small balcony. The staff is friendly and there's water every day. It's a good stay for one or two nights. It's quiet at night. There's convenient on-site parking for cars and bikes.

This hotel is cheap but clean and in a great location in the city. If you're looking for an affordable hotel with a good location, I highly recommend it.

Very nice place to stay. You can stay in the cheap rooms if you are on a low budget. The place has a nice swimming pool where you can relax after visiting the ruins.

They could just clean more often the toilets as they where dirty most of the times

A bit pricey for me but quite cozy place. Loved the breakfast. Friendly staff.

Following is just about breakfast at the place. Breakfast is very good and tasty. Too bad it's kinda small for big money. Hot chocolate is also for 65 bahts. Maybe better to choose something from sandwich menu if going for breakfast. There are also no outlets, you have to pay 20 bahts for charging your phone at reception, which is fair price even though it should be free.

Tony's place is a nice older wooden hotel with a little swimming pool to freshen you up after a day visiting the ruins. We were in April in this hotel and our air-conditioning had trouble with making it cool but it was doable.
They have a restaurant and the plain breakfast was ok but for lunch and dinner we went outside where there is for everyone something to choose
The hotel is very well situated. From the train station goes tuk-tuk's with a fixed price to the hotels but you can even walk it by a 15 minutes’ walk and using the little ferry. The night market is also walkable from the hotel.
You can hire bikes in the same street and tuk-tuk's are easy to get. We hired two bikes and visited the ruins. This is I think the best way to see the most of Ayutthaya.
