Hotel away from the centre of Bangkok is a far point, but this hotel is worth a stay, rooms good, Breakfast good, service Good, Good.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The overall service was excellent, and I especially want to recognize the concierge who assisted with my room—his name is Son

He was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. His warm attitude and willingness to go the extra mile made a strong impression and added a personal touch to my stay

Feels luxurious and comfortable for the grand room. Staff are friendly and helpful during our stay. Did try to book for a spa and massage session but it was fully booked for 2 days

The central air conditioning switch occasionally makes a loud electrical buzzing sound at night, and the hotel's soundproofing is very poor – you can hear people talking outside in the morning

Basically on the door step to the grand palace , the king drove past twice! This was incredible…. However it means all the windows need to be closed for his passing. Bare this is mind when booking a room with a balcony

I brought out my 'old stock' (meaning I got serious and argued back), educating her that while Thailand and Vietnam were historically tributaries to China, and our economy might be behind Europe and America, we are still stronger than other Southeast Asian countries

The hotel's location is indeed convenient, the price is decent, and the service is quite good; the front desk staff are patient and friendly. However, other aspects leave much to be desired

The facilities were old, but the environment was okay. First, the door lock was broken and needed to be changed. The front desk lady insisted I wait in line, and her attitude was very firm

Lighting a little dark so at night it was dark in the room but big windows meant during the day it was nice and bright. 2 free bottles of water a day. Location: 10 minutes walk from tourist centre

The breakfast offers a wide variety and tastes great, and the hotel's convenient location close to attractions makes getting around easy. I would definitely book this hotel again if I return

Just that it is a bit far from a BTS/MRT so will need to grab out. If dont mind doing it the local way then there are nearby bus stops around. Tuktuk was also easy to get, we used the tuktuk app instead of hailing one

Good location, breakfast also good! Kind staff! The only problem we had was with the card key. We had problem in opening the door every single time. We tried to solve the problem several times with no success.

Just few noises from the aircon. We got the canal view, was pretty. Halal buffet bfast, decent spread. Peace of mind for muslim travelers. I would say this hotel is well-equipped

This hotel truly offers a four-star experience, as advertised right on their sign. The service is excellent, comparable to what you'd find in a 4- or 5-star hotel domestically

Nice and spacious room, firm mattresses. Good area near rambuttri road Nice swimming pool, too little sunbeds. An extra plus for the staff, they are very helpful and friendly (especially the lady with the glasses)

Great location. Off Rambuttri Road where you have restaurants, shops, massage places and life music. Also near Khaosan Rd. Nice rooms and swimming pool. Hotel restaurant offers a good variety of meals.

It was great! I loved the hotel, it was actually sound proof even though the outside had loud music blasting. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the amenities were good and new.

There’s no balcony in the hotel room, I knew this when I booked it. But when I got there, I felt it’s so inconvenient. And there’s only one tiny unopened window in the room, which make the room even darker

I spoke to a manager and this was changed to waiting in my noisy room and a bee room was found within 30 minutes. I missed breakfast the first morning on account of not getting to sleep until 4

Clean room and small the location is amazing. However, there is noise if you’re in the front although there’s double windows with no balcony for the smokers, you guys have to go down to a designated area

The charged me for keeping the luggage which I didn’t like Because I was sleeping there six nights and Came back for another two so I think it was greedy to do that

Reserved rooms at the hotel for a business trip as it was near my conference venue. It's is clean and well maintained. The staff are also very responsive to questions

Amenities wise the hotel offers a restaurant that offers breakfast all the way to dinner, a small gym, a pool

Also they have complimentary tuk-tuk to Khalistan road every hour, but check with reception about it

We originally booked two nights through Booking, but decided spontaneously to stay only one night so we could continue traveling the next day. This had nothing to do with the hotel itself

Fantastic central location right next to China Town, and near a 24 hour street market, great when we were jet lagged and wide awake at 3am. Good gym, and rooftop bar and amazing views

Stayed at Grand China Bangkok with my mom and we had a great experience. I especially loved the room’s interior and furniture, everything blended together beautifully and gave a very cozy atmosphere

The hotel is also in a very convenient location, just a short distance from Chinatown and Sampeng Market, which made exploring and shopping so easy

The location is convenient, and transportation in the surrounding area is quite accessible. The room facilities are a bit dated but generally complete, and the hygiene is overall acceptable

A very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a bit old, but that's negligible. The breakfast is sufficient and varied. Only the coffee machine is a little crazy.

The only downside is that there’s no convenience store nearby; the closest one is about 300 meters away, which isn’t too bad for me

Stayed here many times over de last decade but I don’t think I’ll go back. In general it’s still okay but feels more and more like a factory

- No flexibility for earlier check-in when you arrive early and a room might be ready. As a repeat customer this feels extra rude

It was close to thammasat university, at a quiet location and near to the jetty, Internet was not strong, there is a 7-11 nearby, breakfast was a simple, street food avail outside

Staff are attentive, friendly, and helpful. We had our bicycles with us and they helped with storage while we went on a side trip and with getting a big enough van to airport

Overall good stay, nice rooms and facilities, good location. Cleaning was a bit random, sometimes we did not get the towels back and also we had a cockroach probably killed by the cleaning lady and left in the room.

It's run down a bit with poor breakfast. Pool looks good, but didn't use it because of the weather Room is a bit dirty with stain on the bed and a broken bathroom door and broken toilet seat

We most importantly loved the swimming pool, which is not directly exposed to the sun which makes it the freshest place to stay when it’s very hot outside. There’s a large seating area that accommodates dozens of people

Stayed in the king bedroom on main floor and the bed was super comfy, huge plus, and room was clean. Wish the internet reached the room but thankfully the common area had wifi for when I needed to get some work done

Small but cozy place. Very comfortable surrounded by decent local food stalls. Super convenient since you can catch a bus, take a boat, grab a taxi/ tuk tuk or go down the underground train. Really recommend.

The hotel is near 7-Eleven (right infront of the hotel) and the famous Pad Thai. The lady in the front office is so nice and helpful. They got motorcycle to rent (300 baht/day) it is so convenient for us (travelers)

Your breakfast options might come down to the 7-11 across the street. Wife and I loved the decor of the entire place, from the lobby to our room. We had an enjoyable time here

Perfect poshtel on a nice, peaceful touristic road. It is walkable from grand palace and Chinatown, boasts plenty of eateries, seven eleven and cafés nearby

Location is central, just a few minutes away from Koa San Road but yet in a peaceful neighbourhood. Shared terrace overlooking the canal gives special vibes of Serenity in the morning

Of course room and bathroom are small. However it has everything you need on a budget if your intention is to explore the city. Location is great, close to most places but still in a quiet neighbourhood

This is a boutiqe hostel, which I wasn't aware of. It is absolutely amazing! Rooms are really tiny and bathroom but you don't need more if you are to explore the city

We are so glab to have chosen the Chillax resort, since we arrived everything was perfect, the staff, the food and the atmosphere are fantastic, if you want to stay in a good located and comfortable place, Chillax is meant for you

Room was comfortable and had everything you needed. Easy to get to main sights of Bangkok. Lovely restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Bangkok

We first stayed there 10 or 11 years ago. And it was fantastic! It was our first trip to Bangkok on January 1st. We then stayed there in October 2025. The hotel has certainly aged, but it's still pleasant.

Toilets are exceptionally clean ! Aircon can be noisy but not those loud generator sound 😆 it's just soft white noise that puts me to sleep which is acceptable to me 😊 Staff are super polite and kind

I didn’t make breakfast because I was too tired - I even slept through my checkout after 2 nights here (beds very comfy and wasn’t loud) and they didn’t mind at all that I was an hour late to checkout

In the middle of the party scene, but also close to other, very nice areas of that part of the city! Kind and attentive staff. A bit loud though during the nights due to the party street in front of the hotel

Everything was good ftom Check in to Check out. The average for review was the walls were too thin as u will not have a good sleep when u hear someone open or close their doors. It will sound like it’s your door

The receptionist is very good. The room is spacious, clean, and the air conditioner is cool. Overall, there is nothing wrong. I recommend it if you come to visit. There is coffee and bread in the morning

There isn’t much of a view but there, is anyways someone there to help you carry your bags. There is street food outside if you are willing to walk. It is safe and everyone is friendly

Very good concept hotel for business travelers and famillies 

Clean and hygienic, and the Sky Lounge is pretty good too. The breakfast buffet had very little meat, mostly carbs and fiber, which was a bit disappointing

Overall the room is comfortable, just nice for 1 or 2 person. There are 2 7-11s and a mini Big C beside the hotel, and a Big C shopping mall within walking distance which is very convenient for buying necessities or food

But why did no one in the reviews mention how noisy this room is?! 😂🤦♀️ That's exactly why I'm writing this review. The room I stayed in was right next to the light rail, and I barely got any sleep the entire night
