Hotel away from the centre of Bangkok is a far point, but this hotel is worth a stay, rooms good, Breakfast good, service Good, Good.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The overall service was excellent, and I especially want to recognize the concierge who assisted with my room—his name is Son
He was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. His warm attitude and willingness to go the extra mile made a strong impression and added a personal touch to my stay
Great overall! The service is excellent and the facilities are well kept. Perfect for events, summits, meetings.
Great service like this truly elevates the guest experience. Thank you, Son, for making my visit even better!
Feels luxurious and comfortable for the grand room. Staff are friendly and helpful during our stay. Did try to book for a spa and massage session but it was fully booked for 2 days
Bangkok, 2 Rajdamnoen Avenue, Phra Nakhon (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Nice hotel and location is good. A lot of things to visit in the area
The central air conditioning switch occasionally makes a loud electrical buzzing sound at night, and the hotel's soundproofing is very poor – you can hear people talking outside in the morning
Basically on the door step to the grand palace , the king drove past twice! This was incredible…. However it means all the windows need to be closed for his passing. Bare this is mind when booking a room with a balcony
I brought out my 'old stock' (meaning I got serious and argued back), educating her that while Thailand and Vietnam were historically tributaries to China, and our economy might be behind Europe and America, we are still stronger than other Southeast Asian countries
The hotel's location is indeed convenient, the price is decent, and the service is quite good; the front desk staff are patient and friendly. However, other aspects leave much to be desired
The facilities were old, but the environment was okay. First, the door lock was broken and needed to be changed. The front desk lady insisted I wait in line, and her attitude was very firm
Bangkok, 2 Samsen 2 Road, Phranakorn, Phra Nakhon (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Lighting a little dark so at night it was dark in the room but big windows meant during the day it was nice and bright. 2 free bottles of water a day. Location: 10 minutes walk from tourist centre
The breakfast offers a wide variety and tastes great, and the hotel's convenient location close to attractions makes getting around easy. I would definitely book this hotel again if I return
Just that it is a bit far from a BTS/MRT so will need to grab out. If dont mind doing it the local way then there are nearby bus stops around. Tuktuk was also easy to get, we used the tuktuk app instead of hailing one
Good location, breakfast also good! Kind staff! The only problem we had was with the card key. We had problem in opening the door every single time. We tried to solve the problem several times with no success.
Just few noises from the aircon. We got the canal view, was pretty. Halal buffet bfast, decent spread. Peace of mind for muslim travelers. I would say this hotel is well-equipped
This hotel truly offers a four-star experience, as advertised right on their sign. The service is excellent, comparable to what you'd find in a 4- or 5-star hotel domestically
Bangkok, 56 Trok Rong Mai, Chao Fa Road (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Nice and spacious room, firm mattresses. Good area near rambuttri road
Nice swimming pool, too little sunbeds. An extra plus for the staff, they are very helpful and friendly (especially the lady with the glasses)
I have to give a positive review. The hotel is located in an excellent area for visiting Bangkok and its surroundings. The service is good, and the staff are very kind and professional
Very nice place. Very clean. A nice pool. The location is great. The street is also quiet.
I recommend it, and I will definitely return here when I'm back in Bangkok
It has a cute pool, gym and nice restaurant, and room are modern and had all we needed, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We are waiting to come back there again
Reserved rooms at the hotel for a business trip as it was near my conference venue. It's is clean and well maintained. The staff are also very responsive to questions
I love this the part of old Bangkok and always prefer to stay in this area. And Centara was the perfect place for our trip
Amenities wise the hotel offers a restaurant that offers breakfast all the way to dinner, a small gym, a pool
Also they have complimentary tuk-tuk to Khalistan road every hour, but check with reception about it
Clean, breakfast is good and location is near to khaosan road
Bangkok, 42 Soi Ram Buttri, Khwaeng Talat Yot (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Modern hotel right in the center of the action. Stay here if you want to be close to the Kao San. The staff was helpful and pleasant, even asking how our stay was going politely as we rode together in the elevator
Wish to congratulate the team at Khaosarn road IBIS on the job well done. I have an amazing stay over this past fourteen days of self isolate. Upon the smooth transition of airport pick up to the very polite taxi driver
Electronic payment mini bar full stocking with snacks or protein bars would be a great implement as this would be the new normal in the course of time. Airport did not have ATM and exchange boots were not operated
I haven't tried varieties of foods on the menu, but my room service had been spot on. I also wish to convey mine appreciation toward the teams of attentive and light handed nurse stations in this hotel too
Very fast and efficient checked in the process. The room had been pre air-conditioning. Generous room size considering the price I had paid for and bedding very comfy taking the edges off jet lagged
Just an amazing hotel close to the airport but far enough away that you couldn't even hear traffic. The GM of this hotel is really lucky to have a staff like this. They made this stay the very best

Central Bangkok Chinatown
Perfect location.
Stayed 2 nights.
Would stay again.
Especially for the roof bar and views across the city
Fantastic central location right next to China Town, and near a 24 hour street market, great when we were jet lagged and wide awake at 3am. Good gym, and rooftop bar and amazing views
room was comfortable and clean, just that it was slightly small, not as big as what we saw on the picture. however, staffs was super friendly. and location was good. Get to see the big buddha from the swimming pool.
Stayed at Grand China Bangkok with my mom and we had a great experience. I especially loved the room’s interior and furniture, everything blended together beautifully and gave a very cozy atmosphere
Our room was 21st floor and had spectacular views. The hotel is a short walk from the MRT, next to sampaeng lane, and only 15min walk from talad noi
The hotel is also in a very convenient location, just a short distance from Chinatown and Sampeng Market, which made exploring and shopping so easy

•Excellent, cozy and clean rooms
•Quiet, good air conditioning
•The staff is extremely polite, kind and efficient, they help with everything
•You can buy snacks and drinks at the reception
•Clean white robes, shower caps, soap and other disposable accessories

The location is convenient, and transportation in the surrounding area is quite accessible. The room facilities are a bit dated but generally complete, and the hygiene is overall acceptable
A very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a bit old, but that's negligible. The breakfast is sufficient and varied. Only the coffee machine is a little crazy.
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and clean and the mixed continental and Asian breakfast buffet offers many options. Breakfast options outside the hotel are a bit limited, though.
I come off like in all the staff was friendly. your of more at welcome to comes in handy a room clean of using look good the for the modern. room 705'll be back up again.
The only downside is that there’s no convenience store nearby; the closest one is about 300 meters away, which isn’t too bad for me
Bangkok, 50 Trok Rong Mai, Phra-A-Thit Road (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We were pleased with rooms, breakfast and above all the location. Couldn't be better!!!
- ‘ Compulsory’ breakfast for two persons without exception even though you travel alone or don’t want to eat breakfast charged about 460 baht per night extra
Excellent breakfast buffet on the river & by the super clean pool. Well taken care of place and super friendly staff. Great value for the price! I booked 2 nights and stayed 6
Stayed here many times over de last decade but I don’t think I’ll go back. In general it’s still okay but feels more and more like a factory
- No flexibility for earlier check-in when you arrive early and a room might be ready. As a repeat customer this feels extra rude
It was close to thammasat university, at a quiet location and near to the jetty, Internet was not strong, there is a 7-11 nearby, breakfast was a simple, street food avail outside
Bangkok, 202 Khaosan Road, Taladyot (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Good place to stay in the center of the action. Surprisingly quiet. Bit more expensive than other places arround.
Nice clean rooms with good staff. Right in the centre of Khao San Road. A plsce with lot happening all the time.
Nice place for people have low budget with a big room, but now may not convenience because They will renovating some room.
As soon as you step out of your room, you're right in the bustling Khao San, feeling the vibrant night life firsthand. For those who love to explore on foot, the location is absolutely perfect
Equipped with modern amenities, the rooms are clean and orderly though not spacious. Rooms do not have good views of the city. Staff is very gracious, friendly and helpful. This hotel is really good value for money
Conveniently located on Khao San road. Room was clean, great air conditioner, complimentary water, and friendly customer service at a good price. It is a bit noisy in the evenings from the bars and restaurants
Bangkok, 99/1 Wisutkasat Rd. (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
A budget hotel with a nice location. Just 15 mins walk to Khaosarn Road. And 10 mins drive to MBK Center and other Shopping mall
It's run down a bit with poor breakfast. Pool looks good, but didn't use it because of the weather
Room is a bit dirty with stain on the bed and a broken bathroom door and broken toilet seat
This was our 25th trip to Bangkok (yes, I’m counting) and we always stay at a different hotel to experience different parts of Bangkok. This hotel was by far one of our favorites
Location is good if you like Khao San road
We most importantly loved the swimming pool, which is not directly exposed to the sun which makes it the freshest place to stay when it’s very hot outside. There’s a large seating area that accommodates dozens of people
Food is ok ,,,relaxing they have pool, everyday clean the room change the towels it’s not near in bts but location still good quiet peaceful
Bangkok, 337 Mahachai Rd,Samranrat Phra Nakhon (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I took a hotel far way from downtown and this hotel is really good. Not big, family business, kindness, and good room. I recommend absolutely to be in the center of Bangkok at a really good price
Good hotel and staff! Best choice for unpretentious travelers in historical center.Very cozy reception and friendly stuff. Thank you!
Small but cozy place. Very comfortable surrounded by decent local food stalls. Super convenient since you can catch a bus, take a boat, grab a taxi/ tuk tuk or go down the underground train. Really recommend.
The hotel is near 7-Eleven (right infront of the hotel) and the famous Pad Thai. The lady in the front office is so nice and helpful. They got motorcycle to rent (300 baht/day) it is so convenient for us (travelers)
Your breakfast options might come down to the 7-11 across the street. Wife and I loved the decor of the entire place, from the lobby to our room. We had an enjoyable time here
Perfect poshtel on a nice, peaceful touristic road. It is walkable from grand palace and Chinatown, boasts plenty of eateries, seven eleven and cafés nearby
Bangkok, 274 Samsen Soi 2, Phra Nakhon 10200 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We are so glab to have chosen the Chillax resort, since we arrived everything was perfect, the staff, the food and the atmosphere are fantastic, if you want to stay in a good located and comfortable place, Chillax is meant for you
Great location for first time in Bangkok. Quiet location despite being in the heart of nightlife bars and restaurants. The hotel has a great rooftop bar and swimming pool to cool down at the end of a busy day
Room was comfortable and had everything you needed. Easy to get to main sights of Bangkok. Lovely restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Bangkok
We first stayed there 10 or 11 years ago. And it was fantastic! It was our first trip to Bangkok on January 1st.
We then stayed there in October 2025. The hotel has certainly aged, but it's still pleasant.
Toilets are exceptionally clean ! Aircon can be noisy but not those loud generator sound 😆 it's just soft white noise that puts me to sleep which is acceptable to me 😊
Staff are super polite and kind
I didn’t make breakfast because I was too tired - I even slept through my checkout after 2 nights here (beds very comfy and wasn’t loud) and they didn’t mind at all that I was an hour late to checkout
Bangkok, 1 Khaosan Road, Phranakorn (in the centre) 🧭 Map
In the middle of the party scene, but also close to other, very nice areas of that part of the city! Kind and attentive staff. A bit loud though during the nights due to the party street in front of the hotel
The room was clean and comfortable. We asked for a quiet room and the stuff gave it to us. Don't complain about loud noises and the smell of **** if you know where you're going, guys :)
The Hotel has a great location and the rooftop is great. I can’t say anything bad the only thing is the internet connection
It works pretty good, but sometimes the codes are not working and you have to tipp it in every time
The best Hotel in Khao San road
I will be back for sure .
Always welcoming
It’s a good hotel in relation to quality price but if your plan is to sleep early it’s not ideal because you can hear a lot of the noise from the surrounding bars
Nonthaburi City, 288/16 Ngamwongwan Soi 9 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Everything. Was in working order.. Food was good
especially the newly opened
Central West gates don't take the hassle fried one yet
Everything was good ftom Check in to Check out. The average for review was the walls were too thin as u will not have a good sleep when u hear someone open or close their doors. It will sound like it’s your door
The receptionist is very good. The room is spacious, clean, and the air conditioner is cool. Overall, there is nothing wrong. I recommend it if you come to visit. There is coffee and bread in the morning
To stay, several times sleep
Air conditioner this price is included Breakfast is very convenient Parking
To stay at one trip all 5 shopping Mall
There isn’t much of a view but there, is anyways someone there to help you carry your bags. There is street food outside if you are willing to walk. It is safe and everyone is friendly
Nonthaburi City, 27/13 Regent Home 25, A Building 2 Flr. Tiwanon 4, Talatkwan (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It's highly recommended if you just want to stay in, but it's a bit far from the city's attractions
Very good thing is that they have washing machines with dry function! Close to 7-eleven and metro. Highly recommend!
Very good concept hotel for business travelers and famillies
Clean and hygienic, and the Sky Lounge is pretty good too. The breakfast buffet had very little meat, mostly carbs and fiber, which was a bit disappointing
Overall the room is comfortable, just nice for 1 or 2 person. There are 2 7-11s and a mini Big C beside the hotel, and a Big C shopping mall within walking distance which is very convenient for buying necessities or food
But why did no one in the reviews mention how noisy this room is?! 😂🤦♀️ That's exactly why I'm writing this review. The room I stayed in was right next to the light rail, and I barely got any sleep the entire night
Bangkok, 68-70 Khaosan Road, Phranakorn (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I've lost count of how many times I've booked this hotel, and the service is always excellent! The location is fantastic – a must-stay for anyone who enjoys bar culture and nightlife
But stepping into the hotel, the clamor is immediately cut off. My suite was large, with windows on three sides, green trees and red walls, and during the day, it was so quiet you could only hear birdsong
Plus, there's a pharmacy right by the hotel entrance, a new massage parlor next door, and plenty of convenient dining options nearby. The price is also quite reasonable
There were quite a few complaints about noise in the reviews, so I booked this hotel on a whim, but specifically requested a high-floor room at the back of the hotel
It turns out I won the gamble: Khao San Road at night has world-class noisy bars, where even with your ears covered, you can feel your heart pulsing to the beat
There's even a free pool on the 7th floor that the kids absolutely love! While the bar street outside can be noisy, the rooms themselves are surprisingly quiet
Bangkok, 68-70 Khaosan Road, Pranakorn (in the centre) 🧭 Map
If you enjoy a nightlife it's a good place to visit. Khao San can be overwhelming though, and if it's your first visit to Bangkok it can be either one of the best or worst experiences, depending on what you expect
Great hotel, I stay here most years when im in Bangkok
Good location.
Nice clean rooms and a awesome rooftop pool that is great
Good place nice staff clean
Place. Definitely will recommend and absolutely come back. Staff so nice good smiling. Seeyou again kapunkaaaaaa😘
It's a perfect stop over in Bangkok. Bang on Khaosan Road, in the middle of the most lively road in Bangkok. Has a rooftop pool and bar, perfect for all day sunbathing before hitting the chaos in the evening
Good and clean satisfying might be stay again next time I’m having my holidays thank you so much
No complaints and would stay there over and over again if stopping over in Bangkok

Location is central, just a few minutes away from Koa San Road but yet in a peaceful neighbourhood. Shared terrace overlooking the canal gives special vibes of Serenity in the morning
Of course room and bathroom are small. However it has everything you need on a budget if your intention is to explore the city. Location is great, close to most places but still in a quiet neighbourhood
The staff is very friendly and helpful. 5 minutes walk to bars and restaurants. The room we stayed in was small for 2 people but it was okay for a 3-4 day stay. Thank you for everything KS House :)
Stayed there for a week and it was absolutely great. Very clean house, very polite and helpful staff. Stayed in a room with a doublebed. The room was absolutely comfortable, even though small
Rooftop terrace and breakfast room were also relaxing spots to start and end the day. If you're looking for an inexpensive, yet clean, comfy and quiet hostel in Khao San, you should go here
This is a boutiqe hostel, which I wasn't aware of. It is absolutely amazing! Rooms are really tiny and bathroom but you don't need more if you are to explore the city
