Baansuanrudee Resort in Chanthaburi City

I’ve stayed here three times with family and absolutely love the experience. Located on the stream of Trok Nong Waterfall, they have their own custom pool using the natural waters. The staff is always professional and attentive and they even got us local foods to try. We’ve stayed in both the normal rooms and the family room. The family room seems it can sleep right people and the water is safe enough for children. Nature at its finest and this resort is an absolute treasure of Chantaburi.

Very privacy and cozy stay in the middle of hills surrounding by nature and trees. The resort is standing nearby stream from waterfall which you can enjoy very fresh and clear water while you are staying. Rooms are suitable for all kinds of group stay.

I came here for three nights of forest and water and this place had it all. Immersed in nature with the choice of swimming in the pool or the river.

Whilst on my travels I have found so many places have used covid as a reason to let things get run down, no food, rubbish piled up, people lying around doing nothing. This is absolutely NOT the case here, It is spotlessly clean and the gardens are so well cared for.

My riverfront room at 990 baht on weekdays was extremely good value, balcony directly onto the river, hot shower good aircon, firm but comfortable bed.

Breakfast was delicious and Noor Lee will ask you what you want for lunch and dinner. There are also a couple of food stalls across the road and the first one on the left heading up to the waterfalls is particularly good. I think it's called 'good idea' in Thai

There are dogs barking at you on the short walk up to the waterfall, no eye contact keep walking they leave you alone and their owners are nearby to call them.

The waterfall after the rotting wooden bridge is very average although the pool underneath it is gorgeous to swim in. I arrived on a Sunday when there were some young Thai's drinking and playing loud music on the road but they're gone by 5pm and I didn't see them again.

None of this matters as across the bridge to Baansuan Rudee Resort and you can feel the love of the people who care about your stay.

I had no transport so got a Grab Taxi they did not want to do the trip for the Grab price as they had to do the return trip so ended up having to pay 500 baht instead of 370. The nearest shop is back to the main road so take what you need with you.

Very nice resort in the woods. Swimmingpool, big rooms. Breakfast and you can order dinner. Next time we will be in the neigbourhood, we will come back here.

Surrounded by nature! Good place to unwind from your hectic life! There is a pool if you want to cool down or get a little exercise 😉. Mattress is a little hard for me but my wife like it😔. Wifi for my youtube. Good also for big group. Also breakfast!

Clean and nice room. The food was good. The waterfall was nice. Really close to nature.
