Fern Paradise in San Sai

Location is good if you want to be away from the city. But not much else around the place.

The complaints about the noise are real but as long as you don't plan on sleeping before midnight, then there should be no issue.

The garden, as beautiful as a fairy tale, is the owner's family property, meticulously maintained, and includes a riverside restaurant and café. Waking up to birdsong and enjoying a delicious breakfast, the riverside restaurant offers an affordable buffet at 5 pm, and there's live music in the evening, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The room was very clean, the bathroom was basic—you can't expect too much given the building's structure—but the air conditioning was surprisingly quiet. Shoes must be removed before entering the room; I loved walking barefoot on the wooden floor. The bed canopy looked beautiful, but wasn't ideal in practice. Due to the low ceiling, the canopy took up a lot of space on the bed, so we had to drape the curtains as far as possible to the sides. The noise from the street was quite noticeable, with motorcycles, cars, and planes roaring overhead. It got a little better after 11 pm; the room provided two pairs of earplugs, and perhaps because I was so tired that night, I slept very well. The location is a bit out of the way; Grab rides always took about ten minutes. Overall, it was a unique experience, worth remembering.

The cabin was lovely; I could hear birds chirping in the morning, there were lots of trees, and even fish. The breakfast was exquisite, and the owner was very kind; the dishes he recommended were delicious. I really liked it.

Absolutely fantastic! A paradise for plant lovers, I saw all sorts of beautiful plants. It was incredibly therapeutic. Of all the hotels in Chiang Mai, this was the most worthwhile and unique in my opinion.

The treehouse experience was truly unique, like stepping into a fairytale – so fun and unique. Great for taking photos. Plus, there were hardly any mosquitoes, and it was very clean.

The owner was incredibly kind, responsible, and helpful, always responsive to requests. And they even communicated via WeChat, which is so rare! Haha.

The hotel is very unique, surrounded by forests, with a pleasant and refreshing atmosphere. The breakfast was very plentiful, and the hotel service was very attentive. It was a fantastic experience.

My daughter and I both dreamed of staying in a treehouse, and it finally came true in Chiang Mai. The room was incredibly romantic, with a beautifully designed and thoughtfully crafted interior. The price was also very reasonable. The breakfast on the second day was delicious. The owner was very refined and cultured, and his attentiveness made my daughter and me feel very safe. We were so lucky to stay at such a hotel. I wish the owner all the best.

Super super good tree house hotel, my second time staying in Thailand, it is a family manor, the owner is very nice, my girlfriend communicated that it was my birthday, the owner also helped me prepare cakes and balloons, the hotel is super photogenic in the daytime sunshine

Overall a very pleasant stay! The location is around 8km away from the city, but very accessible by either taxi or motorbike. Such a special experience to try living in a tree house.

Breakfast is simple but very hearty! The owner himself is so kind, making us feel home.

Wow. Om is amazing. He is so attentive. Helped us with a bike hire and car hire so quickly.

We came back to the room after a long day out ready to tidy it as we had left early, it had already been done. All of our dirty washing already taken and we were greeted back with a knock on the door and all of our washing ready and clean. We have never had service like it.

Breakfast is also great and on the last day Om let us try a special Thai dish. He really puts his heart and soul into Fern Paradise and it really shows♥️
