I was here with my girlfriend for about four days and loved everything about it. Rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the place overall was beautiful. We purchased morning breakfasts when we booked which we both felt was really good.

Also worth mentioning that it's in a great location with easy access to a ton of fun stuff.

Enjoy a small and cozy hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai. The room had a warm feeling to it, but stylish and modern still. Loved the courtyard where the pool is, and where breakfast is served. Location is excellent, we stayed over the weekend, so both Saturday and Sunday night markets were within walking distance of the hotel.

I really liked it. The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was nice. The staff took very good care of me.
This is my second time in Chiang Mai, but my first time staying here. This hotel is the best I've ever experienced. The breakfast was excellent. I liked it very much.

Perfect for what we wanted. Room on 2nd floor accessible by stairs or elevator. Super clean. Good sized bathroom. Good water temperature and pressure. The bed in my opinion was one of the more comfortable ones I’ve slept in. Way better than Le Meridien in Chiang Rai. Very quiet at night, safe neighbourhood. We really like the staff. Breakfast options were good. We were very happy. Both western and Asian style available. Remember you are at a Smaller boutique hotel, not a huge chain. Limited space to store clothes so ours remained in the suitcase. As others have mentioned, in this time of yr the sun doesn’t hit the pool. Who knows about other months. Certainly not a deal breaker.

We were extremely pleased with this property. Thank you to staff and management.

Great staff! Very helpful and respectful!
We stayed at room 403 and the room was clean.
The beds and pillows were so comfortable. I slept very well on all 4 nights. Great pool to relax in after a hot day of activities.
El Barrio is positioned in a quiet peaceful neighbourhood but is minutes away from amenties such as food, bars, and Calm Massage and Spa.
I would definitely rebook on my next trip!

A very well maintained and tastefully appointed rooms in a, if you will, modern Lanna Style. The rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small car park with a night attendant who is friendly and watchful. Quiet at night, better than the average bed (I have a ruptured disc), convenient location, friendly and clean. Decent value for the price.

I didn't stay there because when we arrived there, we saw that a lot of the info about the hotel was not up to date as advertised on hotel booking websites. For example on agoda it said breakfast included but the restaurant wasn't open so no food. Agoda said that they have a pool, but the pool water was a dark green color (the water looked like green paint). Agoda said there is an option for an extra bed in the room but when we got there they said only a folding couch. Definitely disappointing. But I'm not giving it a 1 star because after all the staff was very nice (for the 10 minutes we were there).

Reply to owner: thank you for being so connected to your Google page! But I still think that the false advertising was a bit unfair. I understand that it's covid times but at least the information should have been a bit more updated so I would know what I should expect.

It's a wonderful hotel where u can really relax, the location is awesome, near walking street and many temples, hotel is good, nice design and comfortable bed, but the breakfast could provide more choices and change more often, coffee is good. Highly recommend to stay here.

I've stayed in large high rise fancy hotels in big American cities that cost hundreds of dollars per night. I've stayed in beach resorts in tropical islands. But I think this might be one of my favorite hotels. The rooms are gorgeous and quaint. And everything is within walking distance. The pool is very private and very beautiful.

Outstanding...great location (get bottom floor room if you can). Its peaceful, its clean, very friendly and a great location....really love this town, Gord hotel is very close to everything you need, will def be back, ty to the staff, especially the nice guy who is from the Cambodia border area

We walked through this little local street and saw GORD, a very charming hotel with character, like a hidden oasis in a very hot day. So we stopped for lunch. Love the oasis atmosphere, so relaxing. Staff was well trained, so welcoming and friendly. We order three dishes: Ginger chicken with rice was very well crafted, the juicy and tender chicken meat and homemade ginger sauce was so savoury favor; Vermicelli minced pork kra-pao was a must if you look for the local spice; And not to miss tasty and crispy outside and tender on the inside chicken wings.
We will definitely try the hotel next time. 👍❤️

Absolutely loved my stay here at this hotel. The service was amazing. One morning I had an early pick up for a tour they, made me a sandwich to go. So unexpected and so sweet. They were very helpful with locations and recommending various activities. Would stay here again. Central location as well, so lots of options with food, Sunday market etc.

Great hotel for the price. The owners/front desk employees are so helpful and kind. Ideally located near night markets, temples and nightlife activities, but still very quiet at night. Clean, spacious rooms with basic amenities. Didn't get the opportunity to eat breakfast or at the onsite restaurant, but the outside areas are nice and relaxing.

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
Very tasty croissant with egg and club Sandwich.
I'm not a big fan of this type American pancake, I prefer European thin one, co except this position everything was super delicious. Thai tea and cappuccino as well.

Super yummy breakfasts, we got pancakes which were really good, and the scrambled eggs which came with yummy potatoes and fresh fruit. Super generous for the price! Good coffee too.

Great place for morning breakfast serving American breakfast, omelets, and pancakes. Good coffee as well set in a wooden house with many interesting antiques and memorabilia.

The Coffee is really good. Thai tea ist avrage and small size for that price.
The Coffee Shop itself is nice and the interior with lots of antique stuff (Like old TVs, old Gas Pump etc....)
They also have a Pool inside and a second Floor
