Loyfa Natural Resort in Srithanu

Beautiful setting with private beach & superb views. Peaceful. Undeniable ambience of healing & rejuvenation. Environment reflected spaciousness & growth. The Staff were very friendly & devoted. Nothing was too much trouble. Superb facilities. Highly recommend.

Okay ill start with the positives, we upgraded to a sea and pool beach house which was amazing, the view was beautiful and people saying you can't swim in the sea is not true. Yes the tide goes out but we went out all morning snorkeling, the staff are really helpful and although it's a hilly walk to the resort from the shops..if you hire a bike it's fine. The resort itself is quite hilly so if you struggle to walk it could be challenging..the room was cleaned every day and a laundry service is offered but we got our clothed cleaner doing it ourselves in the sink Now for the real part.. despite you being able to book on booking. Com as a natural resort, it is in fact an addiction rehab and goes under the name holina rehabilitation centre on google so I can only assume they let remaining rooms to tourists once they have their allocated rooms to patients. There are planned group events that are not available to people just on holiday and you will notice and hear lots of 'chats and hugs' and discussions between them about their journeys at meal times so we ate else where and went to the bars for drinks in the evenings as no alcohol is allowed on site. Rumours are this resort is going to be a full rehab centre. Its a beautiful place and a really good location but be aware that you are amongst vulnerable people and this is very apparent when hearing conversations and in areas like dining and pool areas when they are present

I rented a beach front bungalow for 6 nights. They have 2 pools, one of which is very good for swimming. It was very silent and relaxing. The bungalows was basic but cozy and you have all you need. My bungalow was 20 m from the beach. Within a short walk (100-200 m) there was a busy street with a lot of restaurants and shops. Unfortunately, you cannot swim in the sea because of low water level and very stony ground within the water. I wouldn’t call it „wellness Resort“ either like the other reviews. I did not see wellness treatments and nothing was offered to me. It is called Loyfa but all the staff had shirts with „Holina“ on it. No alcohol policy, which I just acknowledged at the property itself. I cannot recommend the restaurant. The buffet is very basic but expensive and they were not flexible with the normal menu, but the small village is close.

The rooms are clean and we had such a beautiful view overlooking sea. The team was very nice!! I had a birthday and they set up the room so nicely for me :) they cleaned up the room after noons for us when we asked to. We had the best time :)

Wonderful location, we were given a free upgrade from a superior cottage to a beach cottage. Very special to have a view from our window right onto the beach. From the start service was brilliant - we were welcomed from our taxi by the reception staff who you could tell clearly loved their job which was fabulous to see. The grounds are lovely, offering private beaches, 2 pools, classes eg dancing/art, the oasis bar. The bar is cash only - we only sampled smoothies from there (very tasty) and a fresh coconut which wasn't too fresh sadly but still tasted good!
The room was had all we needed, bed very comfortable, mosquito net to banish those pesky mozzies, beach towels/bag, 2 bottles of water/day, a fridge, kettle, plugs by the bed, really good/speedy Internet that stayed connected. The bathroom had the natural vibe. Sadly the shower was a little cold but handy later in the day too cool off so ideal really!
Really nice space for families. It was generally quiet and relaxed. Was a lovely slice of paradise for us. Thank you!
