Rooms are clean and fresh.
Sounds from beautiful mosque in 5am are ok. Didn’t disturb me. However it was beautiful in the evening to hear it.
Location is 10 minutes from the beach but there are lot of shops and restaurants so it was good part of the day to explore something new.
Rooms are a good size and ac works very well. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The property is a little old and dated but the staff keep it clean. I did get early morning noise from the mosque but rooms on the other side of the hotel didn't. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel.
Pool was small but well shaded and provided a good opportunity to cool off.
Staff are friendly and were able to give recommendations on things to do and places to eat.
Staff (especially Pam at reception) very good, room 220 cleanliness (cleaned every day), aircon, large double bed comfort (very good), room size, bathroom hot water/shower function all fine. Also room had blackout curtains, very nice to have. However, this hotel needs a serious refurbishment. The bathroom especially was very poor, had mouldly silicon around the sink, needed painting to cover damp patches, new silicon around shower glass needed, bathroom smelt damp, not nice. The balcony was also poor, needed repair and painting. A hotel MUST fill 3 criteria...be clean, be functional and be in a good state of repair. This hotel failed on number 3.
That said, overall the hotel remains pleasant and is especially well located.
The swimming pool is definitely a plus in the December heat in Krabi.
Breakfast was very good.
And many thanks to the wonderfully warm staff — I even received a surprise birthday cake thanks to them, such a thoughtful touch!
My lasting memory of this hotel are the cheerful, friendly and accommodating staff (both reception and housekeeping).
My reservation did not include breakfast but there are numerous cafes/restaurants nearby.
The bathroom is pretty dirty and it smells bad. I guess it’s mold. The bedroom is actually not too bad. There are geckos strolling through the AC funnel from room to room (our friends had the room next door)
From the outside the hotel definitely needs some renovation. It looks creepy. The reception and the pool look nice though. All in all I would not recommend this place. Way too expensive for the little you get.
