Great location to the main street with all the bars and restaurants, short 10 minute walk down to the beach. Good sized room with comfy beds. But that's about all the positives. Staff are impolite, ignorant and constantly playing on their phones, they don't even say hello when you walk into the hotel. It even seemed an effort for them to check us in. There is no lift so you're expected to carry your luggage up all the stairs (luckily we were on 2, feel sorry for those on 4). There is no atmosphere or ambience to the place at all, very dark dull and boring. The breakfast is plain, repetitive and unappealing... there's a great cafe down the road that is without a doubt a 5 star place to eat so don't bother getting breakfast with a room booking here. There were tiny ants in the bathroom and bedroom too. Could definitely pay the same amount for somewhere of better quality and get more for your money.

Fortunately, we booked this hotel only for one night. The 2 stars are for the reception staff changing our room, after we found out that the room we booked did not look like anything advertised on the booking website. The only window was all boarded up, thus no sunlight would come into the room. Now I can imagine how a prison cell must feel like. Furthermore, there is distinct smell of Naphtalin through out the hotel. Not really a cozy smell. Better pay a couple of Baht more and stay at a more decent hotel with better service, since this hotel is way overpriced for what they are trying to sell you.

Stayed in a Standard Room with a closed balcony. Saw the reviews about noise, so decided to get a room not facing the street (which turned out to be much quieter, even over the new year)
Breakfast was okay, your standard sausage, beans and eggs.
Receptionists were sassy and not helpful and always on their phones.
The daily turn down service was bad, we kept coming back to an unlocked room more than once and didn't even have any new towels a couple times.
TV was rubbish, I understand we're in Thailand, but expected at least one English channel... as we had experienced this in other hotels around Thailand
All in all was cheap and alright location (15 minute walk from beach) and does what it says on the box if you just need a bed to sleep, but don't expect the world.
If you have some extra cash to spare, would recommend going for something else..

First of all, there is no lift here so I wouldn't advise people who have a mobility impairment to stay here. Furthermore the hotel just isn't really good. The girl behind the counter answered some of our questions, but she was just always on her phone looking at movies which gave the place a real unprofessional vibe. The tour which we booked at the hotel wasn't very good as well and we payed more than other people on the same trip, so don't book anything through the hotel. Breakfast is a joke. We got woken up every morning at about 6 because of the laundry machine which was very annoying. So two stars because the place was clean and for the good location, but there are a lot of better options than this hotel.

Lovely clean hotel with great friendly staff. Only thing was the free breakfast had 0 effort put into it.. 2 cold sausages and a total of 15 cold baked beans but the bacon and eggs were nice. It was free so can't really complain too much. Overall a nice stay
