Excellent price and location to know krabi. But you will need a motorbike to go to ao nang, the tourist zone.

Couple trip: we were assigned a room with a nice bed and a nice view on the fourth floor.
You get what you pay for that price: simple bathroom, ok structure.. very kind staff. The noise of life in Krabi you will hear in any hotel practically at certain times. Area with little bars, close to the park.

I have stayed in hundreds of varying accommodations over the years and at least 10 during this trip to Bali and Thailand. This was by far the best deal financially and the best service. My room was cleaned daily. I was comfortable with a doona, aircon, a good sized bed, fluffy pillows and toiletries were provided. My needs were met and the family that runs the place is kind and approachable. It is is in the heart of everything but the noise is minimal. Highly recommend

Cheap 350bt fan rooms or 500bt for a/c. Basic rooms, hotel looks old but good location. Helpful girl on desk.

Grand Hotel, Krabi is a great budget hotel to spend a night or two in.

Decor is aged and is in desperate need of an update, however the rooms are clean and tidy.

The staff are friendly and helpful.

If one is on a budget this is an ideal spot, a room with fan cost 400 Baht, an AC room will set you back 600 Baht.
