Location is a little remote but also is a plus as not commercial and very easy to get around thanks to the wonderful reception staff. All staff are helpful happy and friendly. This resort is stunningly beautiful. The attention to detail of gardens and quiet sitting areas around the resort is amazing. Rooms are huge, private and very clean. Food fantastic. What really makes this resort exceptional is the staff. They are cheerful, welcoming and always provide exceptional service. Recommend! I had a very nice room with a good bed and clean shower. The staff is excellent and very well helping for you to enjoy your stay. Breakfast was also included and well prepared including good coffee. Walking to town takes about 15 minutes.

Hotel was super clean and service was good. There was a minibus to the main village Ao Nang but we didn’t use it - taxis are available and cheap. Rooms are spacious and clean. There isnt much going on at the hotel in terms of amenities or entertainment but it’s not a problem as the town is close by.

It's a beachfront hotel with no actual beach, only rocks. However, the hotel has beautiful gardens, a nice swimming pool, and a peaceful atmosphere. It's ideal for those with their own car because it's far from the city. My room was on the 3rd floor, but there's no elevator.

It's about a 300-meter walk to the main road, where you'll find plenty of restaurants and shops that are generally cheaper than those at Ao Nang Beach. However, the path leading to the main road can be a bit dark, so if you're a solo female traveler, I'd advise against going out alone...

The hotel's location is a bit far from the beach. Its main feature is the direct pool access rooms, which I only got to experience once as I was busy with island hopping every day. Nestled in nature, we had an enjoyable stay for 4 days with young toddler. Landmark night market is not far, it's close to Railay Beach, with shops nearby. The hotel is clean except for the uninvited small insects night fall.

Close to the beach, yet tucked away in a quiet spot.

They don’t provide basic hotel toiletries. The reception was not answering the phone for luggage.

The service was great, but the water cut out several times while I was in the shower.

Very nice romantic hotel just at the bottom of the big rock. So excellent view with also a nice pool. Within walking distance of pretty much everything you wanted to do and the beach.

Great stay at Ava Sea Resort! The room was very clean, breakfast was good with nice variety, and the location is excellent-just a short walk to Ao Nang Beach.

We stayed at this hotel for 4nights. The hotel overall is very basic. Not much of a pool area and the pictures are deceiving to how small the pool area is. The breakfast is not great but edible. I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally positive experience. The location is unbeatable—it’s a large property situated right in the heart of the action, just a short walk from Ao Nang Beach and surrounded by endless food options. The facilities are excellent; the swimming pool and fitness center are well-maintained and perfect for relaxing.

Highly recommended to stayed here especially Jacuzzi villa with the huge room, with Shampoo, Conditioner, Bath gel and lotion. Also including 2 bottles of water per day, 2 beach towels and 2 small hand towels, 2 towels for body and 2 towels for hair. The location also perfect for west beach and walking street. The staffs are very helpful and friendly if you can speak Thai is more fun their love...

Great location. Right next to the beach with many activities. The only sad part was the amount jelly fish. Apart from that, the service was good. Be aware of taxi boats, in Krabi, they are looking to rip of their customers. Out of 5 destinations visited, Krabi was the worst for long tail boat rip taxi rip offs.

The resort is strategically located across East and West Railay beach and 1-minute walking distance to the pier. Staff are all accommodating. I cannot fault anything with the service and hospitality probably the best this resort could offer. There is also a hotel transfer to/from airport for a fee (1,800 THB per way) which was very convenient. Facilities are okay and good enough. Food is okay but...

Hotel is right on the beautiful railway beach. Staff is great. Note that they don't serve alcohol, so you will need to go somewhere else for drinks.

Fantastic resort with clean, modern comfortable rooms. Multiple pool options with one next to the beach. Beach has great sand, nice activities and lots of restaurants and cafes. Walking street super close with good food and drink/bar options. Only reason for 4 stars was due to Wifi dropping a fair bit.

Nice value. Here are some tips: ROOMS 4/5: The bungalos were nice. Keep in mind two things. 1. Some are situated by washrooms for the pool. Request to not have them 2. Some of the bungalos are newly renovated. Requests them. LOCATION 3/5: The views of the sea and mountains protruding are amazing. However Railay beach is over run by boats. Most of the swimming can happen only on the far ends. Also...

Ocean view rooms were great overlooking the ocean with breathtaking sunset views from the pathway to the room. Room had a bathtub and sauna but sauna wasn't working though.
