An excellent vacation for those who just want to relax, picturesque nature, excellent rooms, WiFi, delicious food, massage nearby, 3 swimming pools, if you eat in a restaurant, then right on the seashore, romantic. Pranee Beach Bungalows

Only had drinks and food (on 3 separate occasions). The initial impression was not that great but after we sat there for a while the charm of simplicity and friendliest of staff completely won us over. The food was very good, freshly cooked and full of flavour. The beer was cold and prices extremely reasonable. Well worth visiting.

We didn't stay here so I can't say anything about the rooms. Eating: We ate at Pranees several times, both lunch and dinner. Both service and food were on top level. You will not be disapointed :).

I love it here! We only stayed one night but had a very memorable experience. what didn’t I like!!! we wanted a quiet get a way for the family… away from the crowds and noise… and we found it. almost 3km of beach to ourselves. there are 12 bungalows but only 3 or 4 were booked at a time. Nice place with very good food really cooked whith love. Today I had Pad Thai with shrimps that was really tasty. Plenty of sunbeds where you can stay in the shade or not. We stayed in a budget bungalow that is a few minutes walk to the beach with very good value for money.

Pranee is one of those “not so hidden” gems on Koh Kho Khao. This small, quaint and affordable beach bungalow resort is perfect for people that want affordable beach holiday with the care and attention to detail that comes with having Scandinavian owners. We stayed at The Sunset Beach Resort Koh Kho Khao for 4 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The breakfast was good, and the atmosphere was peaceful and calm - perfect for a relaxing getaway. There is also a nearby resort with a naturist beach for those who may be interested.

This was our first time in Thailand. We loved it. The main thing for us was relaxing by the ocean, so of the inexpensive hotels offered to us, we chose the one closest to the water. I was there during Songkran. And there was music party during the night at the beach close to beach front villa where I stayed every single nights! No one told us or proposed any option when we checked in. The villa was beautiful, the beach was beautiful but the service from the staffs and manager I will give 1 star for not caring what we faced during the staying. Also the cleaner forgot the hat...

The accommodation is really good. I wonder why it's not popular. The sunset in the evening is really beautiful. The staff I met when I checked in were not very nice. Good value for the price. It makes the job, nothing more to say. Except a great welcome from the team.

The hotel is a 30-minute drive from either the sea or the mountains... It has everything you need. The reception is very welcoming.

Hotel is very nicely located in the middle of nowhere. But it's still easy enough to get around if you have your own car or motorbike.

The parking lot only has space for half a car and is insufficient. The room entrance lacks a threshold, allowing a lot of dust to enter, and there's a risk of dangerous reptiles entering. This needs improvement. The service was good, and the staff were polite.

The atmosphere was peaceful, but the curtains were a bit too bright. The room wasn't very soundproof.

The staff are lovely and provide excellent service. The room is spacious and clean.

Extremely satisfied with our Chinese New Year family trip! Our whole family loves relaxing at hotels, so the slightly remote location was definitely worth it for the low crowds, especially compared to the usual throng on Phuket island itself. There were very few Chinese tourists, mostly Europeans, Russians, and some Indians who were all quite well-behaved, unlike the noisy ones you sometimes encounter...

The rooms were like a maze. The price was way too expensive during Chinese New Year – over 2,000-3,000 baht for a hotel that usually costs a few hundred. The hotel's BBQ dinner buffet wasn't good either, and there's nothing around the area. It was impossible to get a taxi to the airport; we had to ask the hotel to call one for us. It's really far, costing 2,000 baht to get near the airport.

Typical resort with adequate facilities, room is modern but resort itself is a bjt aged.

Nice location, but beach have lots of shells at shore. Hotel looks nice, but needs some maintenance though F&B mediocre apart of breakfast. Very tentative guest service team.

Absolutely top notch stay. Kids loved it, beach is amazing and staff were super kind and supportive. We will stay here again next year.

Great service and very helpful staff. The drainage system needs some work as rainshower volume will flood the entire bathroom. The cleaning couldve been meticulous as some hidden spots like side of the bed or near the shades were poorly cleaned. Breakfast was very good but could get really cramped and crowded. The room is okay if you are stopping by to work. The bathroom has a lot of small insects crawling around the toilet. The accommodation behind is currently under construction and is very noisy. It is a pity that the price is a bit high, but it is convenient and suitable for stopping by to work. It will be another option for stopping by.

Great price, amazing view from a window and really clean. It served me as one night sleepover. It felt like I’m in the middle of nowhere and then I found this little cute hotel. After a long day of riding from Hua Him this was a nice place to spend a night. It is a but tucked away from the main road but easy to find.

Normal hotel, price-quality ratio, good shower, warm water, air conditioning in the room, hot drinking water, coffee and sugar free in the lobby. Everything suited me!

It was quite noisy when I went because there was construction behind the building. Overall, the quality is worth the price.

Super nice hotel with a great location in Khao Lak. The hotel restaurant is overpriced. A scoop of industrial ice cream costs more than artisanal Italian ice cream in an ice cream parlor in Germany.

Not sure how hotels get their rating but I would say Outrigger is more 4 star than 5. The bathroom really lets the room down with the blind required on the shower, the positioning of the toilet and the quality of the actual shower. This hotel is mainly families so just be aware if you are not particularly wanting to be surrounded by children and there are a few running round at 3am in their rooms ...

Perfect location next to a beautiful beach. Not very crowded and loads of spaces to lie out in deck chairs or on the sand. Hotel staff are excellent, super helpful and kind. Outrigger has its own app which made ordering additional toiletries for our room simple. Only tricky part is getting to/from the hotel ad it is a 10min drive from Khao Lak town but the hotel can help you to order a taxi.
