Pranee Beach Bungalows

Phang Nga Province, Ban Bang Muang, 64/3 Moo 3, Ko Kho Khao 🧭

Only had drinks and food (on 3 separate occasions). The initial impression was not that great but after we sat there for a while the charm of simplicity and friendliest of staff completely won us over. The food was very good, freshly cooked and full of flavour. The beer was cold and prices extremely reasonable. Well worth visiting.

We didn't stay here so I can't say anything about the rooms. Eating: We ate at Pranees several times, both lunch and dinner. Both service and food were on top level. You will not be disapointed :).

I love it here! We only stayed one night but had a very memorable experience. Rooms are simple and could use some updating (water pressure in shower was very weak, old appliances, power went out twice), but everything else was pretty amazing that this was a solid 5-star experience. Pranee and the staff are super friendly and made us feel welcome from the beginning, encouraging us to lay on the hammocks...

what didn’t I like!!! we wanted a quiet get a way for the family… away from the crowds and noise… and we found it. almost 3km of beach to ourselves. there are 12 bungalows but only 3 or 4 were booked at a time. Pranee herself runs the restaurant with her sister and their sons. the massage ladies (who were incredible) also helped cook in the kitchen. I felt like we were staying at a friends house...

Nice place with very good food really cooked whith love. Today I had Pad Thai with shrimps that was really tasty. Plenty of sunbeds where you can stay in the shade or not. We stayed in a budget bungalow that is a few minutes walk to the beach with very good value for money.

Pranee is one of those “not so hidden” gems on Koh Kho Khao. This small, quaint and affordable beach bungalow resort is perfect for people that want affordable beach holiday with the care and attention to detail that comes with having Scandinavian owners. Many of the guests that frequent this resort are “returning guests” that love the feel and location of this amazing little resort. Excellent food...

Cousin Resort Koh Kho Khao Beach

Phang Nga Province, Ban Bang Muang, 75 Moo.4 🧭

Very tranquil place - you need to use the pond if you want to enter the lively part. And definitely rent a scooter 🛵

Beautiful beach location, but service needs improvement The Good: Prime Location: The beach line is fantastic and very well-maintained. Facilities: For a 3-star hotel, the amenities are good, and the property is kept very orderly and clean. The Bad: Service Issues: Most of the staff were unfriendly, and a few members were even outright rude. Poor Breakfast Management: Breakfast service is poorly...

The staff is very nice and considerate. They remember where we like to sit and always set the table for us in the morning. Room is also nice and clean. Food in the restaurant is good also. The resort is next to the beach. Beautiful scenery peaceful place, so nice to be to relaxing there. Love these five days We plan to go back again

Very polished and upmarket resort, initially intended to stay for 4 nights but decided to extend it to 6. We were there in a low season so very quiet, not sure we would have enjoyed it as much if the resort was full. The room was big, nice bathroom with great shower, comfortable bed, big terrace with nice sea views, chairs and sunbeds, all the mod cons (we had a cockroach on our first night but we...

Top top! This hotel is a ‘hidden’ pearl in all the tourist jungle. No Russians here! VERY good. The beach is wide and flat, cleaned everyday. Staff is awesome. Food in the restaurant is great. Pool is small, but all good compared to the intimate mood here. Rooms have good space and are nice and clean. It is so rare to find spots like this. My very best for this place

Great quit and peaceful place at a little known island north of Khao Lak. Definitely a 10/10! Flawless service and excellent attentive staff!

Cousin Koh Kho Khao Bungalow

Phang Nga Province, Ban Bang Muang, 75 Moo 4 Ko Kho Khao Takua Pa Phang Nga 82190; 75 🧭

Great property in a stunning location. If you want to be surrounded by nature and amazing scenery this is the place to be

The perfect place for a relaxing holiday!

Paradise thai. An excellent vacation for those who just want to relax, picturesque nature, excellent rooms, WiFi, delicious food, massage nearby, 3 swimming pools, if you eat in a restaurant, then right on the seashore, romantic. The evenings are really boring, it gets dark here early, around 19-20 pm.

Great stay in a quiet hotel with no hype or negativity. We got a quiet clean sea (January, 2013), daytime temperature + 28-30 ... Sea of \u200b\u200bpleasure :-) I highly recommend

The Sunset Beach Resort - Hotel

Ban Bang Muang, W7F3+VV, Takua Pa District, 82190 Koh Kho Khao, Takua Pa, Phang Nga Province, Thailand 🧭

We stayed at The Sunset Beach Resort Koh Kho Khao for 4 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The breakfast was good, and the atmosphere was peaceful and calm - perfect for a relaxing getaway. There is also a nearby resort with a naturist beach for those who may be interested.

This was our first time in Thailand. We loved it. The main thing for us was relaxing by the ocean, so of the inexpensive hotels offered to us, we chose the one closest to the water. The rooms aren't very big, but they were cozy. We were with a child. Three of us slept in a huge double bed. The mattresses are good :) the room is cleaned every day. The staff is simply lovely. The breakfasts are fantastic...

For those seeking peace and quiet. Only the ocean, endless deserted beaches, and the untouched nature of Thailand. 1. Price. As usual, I started with the budget. My friend and I flew together, but we booked the tours separately. Our vacation was from February 5 to February 16, 2025. Flight: Azur charter from Perm (in the Urals), 9 hours. We booked deluxe rooms, 1 room per person. It came out to 15...

Perfect location for a relaxing stay and brilliant team of people providing fantastic and considered service. However the condition of the rooms from repair point of view is bed, broken tiles, rotten wood fittings, and even plastic plates for service lets it down otherwise a great escape!

Great resort, plan your motorbike hire Family of 5 staying in hotel rooms for 5n. Experienced Thailand travellers. Highly recommend this resort for big spacious rooms, cheap food at their restaurant. Need a motorbike though. Or be happy to pay 300 baht each way for 5km into local mini mart and pier. Beach is incredible. Pool super clean. A lot of Russian foreigners loading up (7plates plus) on breakfast...

The rooms were huge and comfortable. Bed excellent, cleaning spotless. The staff extremely service minded and nice. Beach was great too. Food good! The area is very quiet and there is nothing to do though . Which was perfect for us because we only wanted to enjoy the beach. But if you want a variation of restaurants, shopping this place is not for you.

Huge pool with a sea view. Beautiful sunsets! The coffee is disgusting.

I wondered how other gave poor reviews to this place. My experience here were amazing. Room is beautiful clean and well mantanace. Staffs are friendly, they are young but professional with big smile.

Great place to stay if you want to get away from it all.We stayed in June and had the place to ourselves so recommended if you want privacy.I thank the staff for putting up with me forgetting my room card on numerous occasions. Good professional massages. Will book again.

I was there during Songkran. And there was music party during the night at the beach close to beach front villa where I stayed every single nights! No one told us or proposed any option when we checked in. The villa was beautiful, the beach was beautiful but the service from the staffs and manager I will give 1 star for not caring what we faced during the staying. Also the cleaner forgot the hat...

The accommodation is really good. I wonder why it's not popular. The sunset in the evening is really beautiful. The staff I met when I checked in were not very nice. They didn't smile much when I asked them anything (or maybe they were tired). It was Songkran, right? But the staff on the day of check-out were good and smiling.

Nice location, Nice view, Good service

Pullman Khao Lak Resort

Phang Nga Province, Khao Lak, 46 109 Moo 2 Soi 46 Laem Son, Bang Muang 82190, Phang Nga, Tailand 🧭

The environment is elegant and close to the sea, with complete facilities. The staff were friendly and helped us book a taxi to the port for our yacht in the morning, which was very timely! The room was spacious and quite new.

Lovely hotel with good layout for 2 adults and 2 kids in the room but room (family suite) smelt damp and we found glass medicine ampoules in the refrigerator which alarmed us but the front desk did not seem bothered by.

Stayed for 3 nights at this beautiful hotel. Feel so rested after. Well maintained. Spacious room. Special thanks to Ryan from the Reception who helped us find a room that was better suited to my toddlers requirements. This helped make our visit much easier & happier. Breakfast had so many options & everything was tasty. The friendly restaurant staff are working hard to keep everyone happy. Pool &...

The hotel was really nice and great for kids. Food options were very minimal and the food quality and taste was very poor. Unfortunately there are hardly any options close by outside and no-one delivers since it is too far. Once you figure out food and are okay with the average service the resort is great to enjoy with the family. But definitely would give this a skip and go to J W Marriott Khao Lak...

The hotel is generally lovely with lush gardens and a nice pool, although the area right by the sea feels a bit bare of vegetation. The rooms are kept clean, but you can see they are starting to show their age. Regarding food: While the breakfast selection is decent/okay, the dinner was a disappointment. The choice of dishes is very small with little variety, and unfortunately, most of the hot food...

Overall, the hotel was very good. There were one or two small things that I didn’t like so much, but nothing major that would affect the overall experience. I would like to give a special thank you to Ness, who was incredibly helpful in every situation and always found great solutions for all our difficulties. Her support really made a difference during our stay. The price–performance ratio is very...

Kuapa Resort

Phang Nga Province, Takua Pa, V856+9F5, Bang Muang 82190, Phang Nga, Tailand 🧭

Good value for the price. It makes the job, nothing more to say. Except a great welcome from the team.

The hotel is a 30-minute drive from either the sea or the mountains... It has everything you need. The reception is very welcoming.

Hotel is very nicely located in the middle of nowhere. But it's still easy enough to get around if you have your own car or motorbike.

The parking lot only has space for half a car and is insufficient. The room entrance lacks a threshold, allowing a lot of dust to enter, and there's a risk of dangerous reptiles entering. This needs improvement. The service was good, and the staff were polite.

The atmosphere was peaceful, but the curtains were a bit too bright. The room wasn't very soundproof.

The staff are lovely and provide excellent service. The room is spacious and clean.

Good Morning Hotel at TakuaPa

Came here on a trip and gthis hotel had the best hospitality of all time. coming back here the very next time i come back to thailand. exelent. dee.

Glad that there is a modern and clean hotel to spend a night in Takua Pa. We wanted to explore the food scene in Takua Pa. The room is minimalistic and very clean. The bed was comfortable. Safety is good. Entrance to the lift and safety staircase is beside the reception through a glass door. You need your room key to get access. As the hotel is facing the main street, noise insulation was not great...

Okay, clean, quiet, but the price is a bit high.

There is no breakfast, only coffee and bread.

Convenient location, lovely staff, very clean and tidy rooms. This is another place I stay regularly.

Nice clean rooms. There is a lift and good internet. There is a gym guests can use. While there is no breakfast there is coffee and toast available. There is plenty of parking some of which is covered.

Le Meridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa

Phang Nga Province, Khao Lak, 31 Moo 7 Bangmoung 🧭

Extremely satisfied with our Chinese New Year family trip! Our whole family loves relaxing at hotels, so the slightly remote location was definitely worth it for the low crowds, especially compared to the usual throng on Phuket island itself. There were very few Chinese tourists, mostly Europeans, Russians, and some Indians who were all quite well-behaved, unlike the noisy ones you sometimes encounter...

The rooms were like a maze. The price was way too expensive during Chinese New Year – over 2,000-3,000 baht for a hotel that usually costs a few hundred. The hotel's BBQ dinner buffet wasn't good either, and there's nothing around the area. It was impossible to get a taxi to the airport; we had to ask the hotel to call one for us. It's really far, costing 2,000 baht to get near the airport.

Typical resort with adequate facilities, room is modern but resort itself is a bjt aged.

Nice location, but beach have lots of shells at shore. Hotel looks nice, but needs some maintenance though F&B mediocre apart of breakfast. Very tentative guest service team.

Absolutely top notch stay. Kids loved it, beach is amazing and staff were super kind and supportive. We will stay here again next year.

Very nice hotel, good price with all needed facilities, and the service is great

Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak

Great service and very helpful staff. The drainage system needs some work as rainshower volume will flood the entire bathroom. The cleaning couldve been meticulous as some hidden spots like side of the bed or near the shades were poorly cleaned. Breakfast was very good but could get really cramped and crowded. Excellent happy hours - can stay for the entire day at their little pool/beach front area

Lovely and spacious balcony. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, lot of variety. We love to spend time by pool side.

It just wasn’t what we expected. The reviews were great but we were disappointed - it’s in a random area that is super quiet.. there are definitely better hotels in Khao Lak.. this felt a bit like a package holiday hotel destination.

Very lovely resort with even better staff. The facilities are wonderful and everything is maintained well

Graceland Khaolak Beach Resort

Phang Nga Province, Khao Lak, 30/7 Moo 7, Bang Muang District 🧭

We extended our stay the minute we saw the beach. The resort is old and has its old charm but the service is great and people are friendly and beach is just incredible and lots of restaurants options around the resort. You also have taxi service at the entrance so easy to move around. I highly recommend this place if u want to switch off and relax, very serene atmosphere.

We stayed for 6 nights in November. Upon arrival we had a very positive impression with friendly staff and a smooth checking procedure in the impressive lobby. One we got to our room (villa with private pool) we got the impression that parts of the complex including the private villas were quite old and worn off. This included a typical smell in the room as if something was rotting. We contacted the...

Perfect hotel resort — a very beautiful area. It’s a bit far from Khao Lak, but if you want to chill in peace, this is the place. There’s a free daily shuttle to town, bikes to rent for 100 baht per hour (even for small children), tennis courts, archery, a gym, bowling, and a snooker. When we arrived, the first thing we hoped for (after our Bali experience) was a welcome drink with a cold aromatic...

Our stay at this hotel left an amazing impression on us. We booked a Deluxe Room with direct pool access, and it was absolutely perfect. Housekeeping did an outstanding job — the room was always cleaned spotlessly, every single day. The...

Our stay at Graceland Khao Lak Resort was absolutely wonderful. The resort itself is beautiful, immaculately clean, and very well maintained. Everyone we met was genuinely kind, polite, and eager to help, which made us feel completely...

I stayed at Graceland Khaolak Beach Resort during the rainy season, and I have to say — it was a great experience! Many people think that the rainy season in Thailand is not the best time to visit, but here it was absolutely fine. A wonderful stay, we loved this place. Location and being in a quiet area suited us. Lovely food and friendly staff. We’re hoping to come back again soon.

It was the best trip of my life. The staff were friendly, and the food, especially the restaurant food, was better than any restaurant in Thailand. I stayed here for about four days and made great memories. I want to visit again with my family.

Excellent hotel for those seeking complete relaxation. It's beachfront, has an empty beach, and good breakfasts. Definitely recommend!

We stayed at the hotel for 12 days. The hotel is very well located – the beach is long, with a good entrance. The tides are mild, and there are few people. The beach is naturally shaded until 12:00 PM, with sun loungers and umbrellas available. Between the beach and the hotel is a minor, little-trafficked road, so it's not a problem. I stayed here for 1 night, the location is perfect, right next to the bus station and the market. The rooms are clean, comfortable beds and we had a balcony too. Nothing to complain! 😊

We were by car, went to the beach every day. It was very good for spending the night.

Good room. Clean. In front of the bus station.

Location near the bus station. If going to the old city, it is about 8 km. Good room, near restaurants

The room should be improved in many ways, such as the towels smell bad and can't be used at all, the pillowcases smell bad and have to find a cloth to cover them, the room smells musty, the bathroom doesn't have a clothes rack, the stairs are quite fresh. Overall, it should be improved, everything is cleaned. The only good thing is that the Big C side has a delicious restaurant. 😀😀 If I go to Takua...

Fondness Hotel

Phang Nga Province, Takua Pa, 39 3, Bang Nai Si 82110, Phang Nga, Tailand 🧭

The room is okay if you are stopping by to work. The bathroom has a lot of small insects crawling around the toilet. The accommodation behind is currently under construction and is very noisy. It is a pity that the price is a bit high, but it is convenient and suitable for stopping by to work. It will be another option for stopping by.

The atmosphere is very good, the room is comfortable, suitable for working.

Great price, amazing view from a window and really clean. It served me as one night sleepover. It felt like I’m in the middle of nowhere and then I found this little cute hotel. After a long day of riding from Hua Him this was a nice place to spend a night. It is a but tucked away from the main road but easy to find.

Normal hotel, price-quality ratio, good shower, warm water, air conditioning in the room, hot drinking water, coffee and sugar free in the lobby. Everything suited me!

It was quite noisy when I went because there was construction behind the building. Overall, the quality is worth the price.

The hotel is located in a shop lot and offers basic rooms with no additional amenities. It's suitable for a single person looking for a quick stopover to shower and sleep, but not ideal for family stays due to the lack of other facilities

Location is a little far but excellent for quiet escape, super near to a clean beach with soft sand. If you are not sensitive to insect/ small animals sound at night, it can be quite rhythmic to serenade you to sleep. I enjoyed the quiet time at the resort with quality sleep. Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort

Phang Nga Province, Khao Lak, 2/4 Moo 8, Bangmuang 🧭

It was a lovely experience. The villa accomodation was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the restaurant service and the massages. The staff were so friendly.

Super nice hotel with a great location in Khao Lak. The hotel restaurant is overpriced. A scoop of industrial ice cream costs more than artisanal Italian ice cream in an ice cream parlor in Germany.

Not sure how hotels get their rating but I would say Outrigger is more 4 star than 5. The bathroom really lets the room down with the blind required on the shower, the positioning of the toilet and the quality of the actual shower. This hotel is mainly families so just be aware if you are not particularly wanting to be surrounded by children and there are a few running round at 3am in their rooms ...

Very bad food, isolated location, sandy water. Good swimming pool and very kind and friendly personnel.

Very nice hotel, great rooms! The staff is very polite and ready to fulfill any request!

Perfect location next to a beautiful beach. Not very crowded and loads of spaces to lie out in deck chairs or on the sand. Hotel staff are excellent, super helpful and kind. Outrigger has its own app which made ordering additional toiletries for our room simple. Only tricky part is getting to/from the hotel ad it is a 10min drive from Khao Lak town but the hotel can help you to order a taxi.

This resort was definitely one of the standout parts of our stay in Khao Lak. The rooms are modern, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean – everything feels comfortable and thoughtfully designed. This hotel is simply perfect. It's surrounded by greenery and offers a wide array of activities. It might not be ideal for those who aren't fond of children, as many guests come with young kids, but the expansive grounds make it feel less crowded. They were booked up until after I came home so that was my only negative really. The staff don't speak much English and my Thai is non existent so difficult to communicate. The breakfast was fantastic. I ate at the beach cafes alot in the evening...

Excellent location for a relaxing getaway, spacious rooms, excellent pools, good food with generous portions especially the breakfast options. I loved having direct beach access to other dining and massage options for the family. We also booked some excellent day trip options from the tour desk which were wonderful experiences with flexibility on timeframes. Having shuttle buses available to take...

Phang Nga Province, Khao Lak, 9/17 Petchkasem Rd., Moo 1 Kuk Kak 🧭

We had a very nice stay at Kantary Beach Villas. The rooms were spacious, clean, and of good standard, and the location close to the beach is fantastic. The staff were very friendly and service-minded, and the rooms were well taken care of with regular cleaning and regular changes. The breakfast is top class with a great selection. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good, and the rooftop area...

We had a very bad start that got better over the days. The checkin was horrible, she kept asking to see a voucher for the booking while our agent website had technical issues, though she found our booking in her system and verified the IDs. At no point she accepted to see the voucher later. Second day we had an encounter with one staff member that was every unfriendly. We asked if there were any box...

**Review – Wonderful Stay at Kantary Hotel** Kantary Hotel is beautiful and spacious, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay. We would like to especially commend the staff for their kindness and attentiveness. Best memories hotel forever ❤️ I start to stay here around 2011 since there opened. My son had a lot good memories here since we was 2 or 3 years old and now he 16! Everything still in standard quality although the facilities getting age( off course more than 10 years) the best thing here is the beach that beautiful clean and quiet for the resting day and escape from the mass out there. Breakfast always...

The room was fully equipped with amenities. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning was cool. The staff provided excellent service and greeted me with a smile. It was a quiet hotel, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I was very impressed.

Nice hotel .. good staff very friendly .. if you book a room book with access to the pool that is much better and nicer Only disadvantage is the towel laying .. looks a bit like Turkey .. therefore room with access to the pool then you always have your own bed
