Very friendly and did all the basics well. Clean but could be modernised
The hotel staff were excellent and very friendly. It's fine for a two-night stay. The shower head was clogged, which made showering uncomfortable. The bed linen and towels were clean. Overall, it's not bad for the price/quality ratio.
My 4th stay at Insula and the staff/owners are very friendly and helpful.
The staff carried my heavy suitcase upto the top floor where my room was situated without complaint
The bed is soft and the room has tea/coffee and a kettle
Close to everything you want on PP island
Nice hotel near the pier. WiFi is bad.
Hotel is in the City Center, yet very calm and clean!
For a 2-3 day stay - not a bad option. Nearby are 2 beaches and piers for renting boats.
Close to the bars for which people come here.
New air conditioner, freezes perfectly.
A little old linen and towels - but this is not the most important thing here.
Daily cleaning.
The windows overlooked a busy street, but this is not a problem, but with a view of the mountains. We only slept in the room. This...

I have been going to phiphi quite often the last year and I always stay at the Chunut House. It is a bit "far" from the center, meaning literally a 5 min walk but it makes the place a nice refugee from the loud /busy center and people partying at the beach. It's amazing because you can party (within 5 min) and also get away from it if you want. The staff is really nice, not everyone speaks english...
The hotel is not bad for the money.
They helped bring things from the pier to the room.
They treated us to breakfast, eggs, coffee.
The staff is friendly.
Disadvantages: the bathroom is always damp, when you take a shower, water is everywhere, you need a separate drain for water. There was no mirror in the room, there was nowhere to put things, the room was dark.
Very good experience. Clean and good looking rooms, good location, swimming pool, good personnel (when they were asked to change the sheets because it was stained they did it right away without any prolongation).
The minuses do exist as well. Low sound isolation and not a perfect showering.
Great experience with this hotel and staff. We walked in and made a reservation on sight for two nights for a reasonable price compared to other places on island and a great breakfast was included each morning of our stay. A short walk from the crazy partying in town which was perfect for us. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended!
Stay here way exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was home cooked and absolutely delicious! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and clean. Also have day trips around the island that leave right from your hotel. Will definitely be staying here again next time in Phi Phi.
The guesthouse is located behind the main road. As other people says, not very good location but staffs were quite good and guide for island tour. On the way to the hotel, there is local food stall which foreigners and local people were sitting for food. They served a quite good food and cheap also.
You must bring the mosquito repellent... so many big mosquitos are there but peaceful place.

Positives - the beach is stunning ! In the north of Phi Phi so you avoid the Ibiza kids in main port/town/strip.
Staff are mostly kids, but super happy and helpful, lovely staff all around you. They never stop working or smiling. Gardens team are amazing as well.
Negatives -
The sunset pool should be closed ! Beyond dangerous ! See pictures added, far too much to list regarding damages and upkeep...
We had a lovely 5-star stay at Phi Phi Holiday Resort! We booked an Ocean Sunset Pool Villa, which was the highlight of our trip—having a private pool with that sunset view was incredible. The room was kept spotless with daily cleaning and fresh water provided every day.
The resort has great spots for drinks and dining. Our absolute favorite was Jimmy’s Café—the food was delicious, and the staff there...
We really liked Phi Phi Holiday Resort overall. The property is very nice, and the ocean-view bungalows are amazing — they are practically in the ocean. The food was good, and we really appreciated the kind gesture of providing free food to children.
The main downside was the beach. It was quite dirty, and it didn’t seem like much effort was being made to clean it. Since the beach is the main reason...
Great experience for any couple, family, or friends looking for a peaceful serene experience on a beach where peak rainless summer is in December-march. Rooms are super clean and comfortable and have great views and look like from a movie. Sunset restaurant is a great place to be after 5 pm for sure to see the most orange beautiful sunset ever. All beverages are great try any place on the beach and...
We stayed a number of days in a Superior Premium bungalow (upgraded from a Garden bungalow) which was located near the beach. The interior was very fresh and comfy and the bungalow looked very new or recently renovated.
Around the resort on the beach you had plenty of opportunities to eat outside the resort.
Overall a very nice location, excellent service,…
We were a group of 5 who stayed 1 night at the resort and how we regret only staying one night!
The huge property which offers different styles of rooms with and without private pools.
we had a very comfortable stay and even booked excursions with the hotel which were private and beyond compare!!
Highly recommend and if I visit phiphi again, I definitely will visit again!

This place was an amazing stay and is quite a gem - if you enjoy nature, it is a unique experience. The place is beautiful, clean and quiet.
I also would like to highlight the kindness and professionalism of the staff, they’re very efficient and lovely. Ms Nok and Mr Bomb at the reception were very helpful and even arranged our transfer to the next hotel and island directly with them, while also booking...
My husband and I stayed at Zeavola Resort for our 7th wedding anniversary. The staff had made up our room with lots of little attentive gifts and every evening there was another mini-surprise...We had the best time! The setting was picturesque, the villa was so cute and the restaurant offered delicious food, both for bear fast and dinner. We organised a day trip on a private boat to Maya Bay, which...
I am quite emotional writing this review.
It feels like I am leaving long term friends.
After 19 days of getting to know an incredibly thoughtful and personable staff team.

Great place, quality 5*, very friendly, great service, lovely gardens, great beach, feels like paradise, food is good quality, drinks are good value. Guests are mostly European/Brits couples/families/groups but no young groups - it's a quiet place. Possible downsides - no sunset (but we did have a blood moon rise), pool is in the garden without view of beach (but beach is calm shallow warm great swimming...
I’m so sorry to hear that Florian had a trekking accident and passed away.😢Truly a very tragic and sad thing! His spirit shall continue to guide all and bless you dear staff as you continue to honor him and represent him at Zeavola!😊
It was an amazing experience, the villas are so beautiful with incredible attention to detail. The staff, led by Florian, the general manager, were friendly and helpful and simply made it the best experience I've ever had at a beach resort. I went diving with the resort's dive center both days, incredible dives and personalized service... Can't wait to go back in November when diving season...

We ate here 7 times and by far it has been the best we have eaten in Thailand.
Is it a bit pricey but still almost twice as cheap as in the nearby hotels. Highly recommend
After a long travel ending up in this little jewel was the highlight. A tucked in affordable little place facing the beautiful blue waters is this great restaurant. The only thing excelling this scenic view is the DELICIOUS food. We had ordered the egg noodles, and green chicken curry with a serving of rice. We wiped out plates clean :p
Food: 10/10
Service: 10/10
Food is ok. Service is also very friendly. You sit on the beach right in front of the water. Sometimes the shore can be very windy but if you’re lucky you can enjoy your meal at night in a warm summer breeze.
There are few resorts nearby and this place offers really good, delicious and authentic food. The service is quick too, staff is humble. The best dish so far was egg fried rice, the noodle soup was okayish and can be skipped. They have few western dishes too and the taste is good. For juices you have to let them know your preferences for sugar. They also have a departmental store where you can buy...
What a delightful evening we had here. Tables right at the beach, the most stunning views to the sea. The Thai music, both classical and modern chosen by someone with a taste for good music. The food we had was tremendous. Papaya salad with fresh raw shrimps, BBQ prawns, steamed fish with lime and the ultimate sticky rice with fresh mango and coconut dressing. All utterly fantastic, mouthwatering...

Just go for it!! It’s the best way to enjoy phi phi. A bit secluded but worth every penny
They really try here. They do a ton of work coordinating just to get us all the way out there to the tip of the island on their boats, and then the shuttle takes us up and down the hill daily. The snorkeling and adjacent beach amenities are truly amazing. The rooms are beautiful and the view is insane. Breakfast could be improved, and of course the dilapidated water park needs to be properly renovated...
This hotel is tucked away in a secluded area and is best reached by long-tail boats or their hourly shuttle service to a town pickup point. Just be aware the shuttle stops at 9pm.
My room had a dripping air conditioning unit and some loud mechanical noise from a nearby pump disturbed my sleep.
Otherwise, the view was great and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Nickie at the front desk was absolutely wonderful!
She was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay.
Her service was outstanding, and she went above and beyond to assist us — she even helped us book a massage smoothly and efficiently.
Thank you, Nickie, for your warm hospitality and excellent service. You truly made our experience even better!
The restaurant at the top of the hill is absolutely fantastic, offering panoramic views of the entire Phi Phi Island. The staff's English was excellent, so there were no communication issues at all.
I had an amazing experience. It was very quiet and clean. They have pools, including a nice one down by the beach. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
They pick you up at the pier and take you to the resort.
It’s not near the town; it takes about 10 minutes to get to and from town by car.
They offer free hourly rides that are always on time. However, the rides are only free until 9:00 p.m....

Incredible location with just a stones throw away from the pool, bar and beach. The amazing free service they provide is definitely the free wakeboarding and kayaking experience in the ocean. The only complaint I would have is it's not very sound proof...
The hotel it’s ok but the music it’s too loud at night
Overall, the hotel is very good and I had a pleasant stay. The staff are excellent—very friendly, professional, and always willing to help.
However, if you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this hotel. There is a nearby nightclub, and the music can be heard throughout the night, which may disturb your rest.

I have very warm memories of my stay at Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort. It is a truly beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere, a great pool, and direct access to the beach. Amazing stay! The hotel is very clean, and the lady in charge is incredibly kind and attentive. She checks in on our plans, and gives great recommendations. Her hospitality made our visit even better!
Awesome find. So close to the pier. Was easy once I got off the speedboat, grabbed a McDonald’s and was a 2 min walk. Was greeted at the desk by judee. What a god send. Exceptional! Very good neat and clean hotel. Everything nearby.
The guys fron check in service wasn’t friendly and welcoming. The cleanliness of room was not Good. And the room was terrible (dark, dirty). Breakfast was one the worst I have ever had! The AC was decent!

Very convenient location, lushy and nice tree cover. Also very clean and the pool was lovely. The room was nicely decorated and also clean
Great location and a really comfortable, cozy room. No private beach, but that's fine since a public beach is just a short walk away. I'd recommend kayaking to Monkey Beach!
Very convenient location. However, the shower water pressure is quite low and they only provide two pillows for a king-size bed. The room is also rather dark as there is not enough lighting.

Our family just needed a place to stay for one night, as we spent the rest of our time exploring the islands. Overall, it was an okay place to sleep, but the only issue was the loud music playing all night nearby, which made it hard to sleep. We had to wake up very early for Maya Bay.
Like most budget hotels in Thailand, everything is a bit worn out, but the location is close to everything there is on Phi Phi. It's a great option for a couple of nights.
The place is very well located, but I found it a bit dirty; perhaps it was just my imagination because of the humidity. It's fine for a two-day stay!
I really liked the hostel, I lived in the room completely alone, I was very happy to live here
The room is clean, suitable for sleeping and working in a tourist area, near tourist attractions, not expensive, the receptionist can provide good tourist information.

This is a decent mid-level hotel that's overdue for an update. Service is good, and the staff are friendly, but the property feels very dated—especially the standard rooms (we stayed in one; not sure about the others).Getting to/from the island center is only possible via public ferry (around 300 THB/person) or private longboat (1,500 THB). Skip the lobby ferry tickets—buy from the official website...
A Peaceful Sanctuary with Vibrant Local Soul
While the rooms are basic and a bit dated, the hotel offers a rare sense of tranquility. The highlight for me was the wonderful local atmosphere. A few important notes not publicized on their website:
- When you get off a long tail boat or the ferry, there is a solid chance you’re walking in knee deep water for a few meters. I’d recommend wearing sandals and shorts.
- Laem Tong beach is isolated, there is a paved path to the next village but it will not get you all the way to Tonsai Pier, this requires a boat. So buy snacks at the 7-11 before...

Very cute bungalow, nice walk into town, friendly staff
On the negative side sliding door was a struggle to close, tv didn’t work, wall in these are thin and voices may wake you repeatedly .
Actually not a bad place for short stay for this price: the room is tiny but it has everything, location is just 10 minutes away from the pier.
The biggest drawback for me was that the door couldn’t get closed completely so the mosquitoes invaded the room at night :( quite noisy because of parties.
Also sometimes the local people nearby cook and it gets VERY smelly in the room.
One of my favourite stays in koh phi phi yet amazing staff and area
I hate to leave negative reviews, but unfortunately I have to in this case. The hotel is in a great location right on the beach, and if you don’t encounter the problem I did, it would be a wonderful place to stay.
My room had an issue every morning where hundreds of black flies would appear. I’m not sure where they came from, but as soon as I woke up and turned on a light, they would start arriving...
The hotel is in a nice location, a little bit further away from the main town but nice and quiet with its own section of beach.
The huts themselves are nice and have easy access to the sea if you want to swim in there.

This was a really cute bungalow on the beach, which added to our experience of staying on Phi Phi. However, the bed was rock hard and the air con kept switching itself off in the night so we kept waking up sweating! The light from it was also really bright so I had to wear an eye mask to sleep. This is our third time staying here. The rooms are quite small, however the location and staff are great. At first they gave us the room near the smelly river which attracts lots of mosquitoes. We requested to change the room. So my suggestion is do not select the rooms near the river. Breakfast was ok but not really great.
This is my second stay here. I love the environment; it's very close to the beach and pier. The detached rooms are very clean, and although they're not big, they're fully equipped.
Great facilities and very friendly staff. The breakfast is very good, with a mix of Thai and Western options. The plants and water features throughout the whole complex have it a very cozy, tropical feel, even though you’re in the middle of town. The hotel is centrally located within Phi Phi town, if you would like to be close to the action.

Excellent hotel, good location, cozy territory. Nearby there are shops, cafes, bars, but at the same time the territory of the hotel is quite quiet. Breakfasts are normal, always left full. Nearby there is a path to the observation deck.
Lovely accommodation, would highly recommend to others visiting Phi Phi. The pool area was nice. Not noisy either considering Phi Phi can be loud. The room we had was very small but was perfect for the length of time we spent there. Staff were nice too!

Good beachfront Resort, the pool is big enough and the facilities are good. Breakfast is very basic and could be much better. They have a very handy service to move your luggage to the pier, which is about 15-20min walking.
I recently stayed at Phi Phi Bay View Resort for one night in a Deluxe Sea View room. This resort is stunning! The staff is friendly, attentive and genuinely want to help. There was a mixup with my room and Leo was so kind to work it out for me. The location is off to the quiet end of Tonsai, higher up on the hill with sweeping views of the incredible beach below. I had a magical 2 days here and can’t wait to return.
Perfect place to stay in the island
It is the best location to live on Phi Phi in my opinion - you have amazing beaches in walkable distance, you can reach the town in 10 minutes. You get wonderful views of the ocean, it is breathtaking place on earth. But it is quite a hike to get to your bungalow, if you live in the 3rd row, so be aware of that.
I read all of the bad reviews: yes, the equipment is quite old, it could be much better...

Beautiful hotel, perfect location if you would like to enjoy the sea or their beautiful infinity pool.

I don't have too many good things to share. The hotel is in a central location, but the access to it from the Ritz is very long on foot and there is no transportation on the island. The hotel itself was good in general but will I advise of staying no , if you have luggage i don’t advise you to stay here because my first day was very rough and i just slept i couldn’t even move because of how tiring it is to get to hotel , so first location very far stairs to get to your room +100 .
They have free breakfast not really worth it it’s just bread and cheese .
The staff are the best...
It's a good place for the price, but if you have a lot of luggage, I wouldn't recommend it as there are many stairs to climb.
It's okay, close to the center, lots of greenery and cats on the grounds. Overall, it's a very cozy location. One downside: there wasn't any cleaning service for three days, which is okay, but the toilet paper tends to run out. There's also no mirror, only by the sink.
The PP Ingphu Viewpoint Hotel on Phi Phi is a great place to stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout, and the room was exactly as pictured. The location is a huge plus: very close to the center, yet secluded enough to allow for a break from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is also close to a famous viewpoint, from which you can admire truly beautiful waterfalls.
The prices are quite expensive compared to quality of service (evaluation against other places I've stayed in Thailand, like Phuket or Chiang Mai). Price was about 2200 baht per night, but ac was not working and the washroom was okayish. Otherwise the place is quite pretty and has nice rooms made with bamboo and wood, also has a small pool to chill in. Additionally it's just a ten min walk from the...

Excellent hotel! Superb location just walking distance from the pier and the main beach, and the pool was excellent with a view of the mountains/beach. Breakfast was also delicious and they even gave us a takeaway breakfast on a day when we had a tour booked in the morning. Really enjoyed our stay.
Good Location
Worth price
Good cleaning
Staff are friendly
The staff is very nice and the location is very good. The price is expensive for this hotel.
The hotel is located near the pier. So it was vey convenient for us to do snorkeling and scuba diving.
The best aspects were the location and the buffet. It's just a 2-minute walk from the pier, and the hotel's street connects the bay to the beach. On the downside, it definitely needs more cleaning (the fans haven't been cleaned in at least a decade) and the rooms should be fumigated.
A bit expensive but nearby everything. Staffs are helpful.

Phi Phi Island, 1 Moo 7, Ao Nang, 81210 Phi Phi Islands, Krabi, Krabi Province, Thailand 🧭 Map
The room was very average, beds ok but bathroom was very dated. Shower was one of those that you use as fast as you can. The property really needs some love and care. The restaurant at the front is nice. The staff were super friendly. I was there for one night only so I guess it was ok for that time.
Nice place, rooms are affordable and clean. Needs a bit of love, but very clean. Pool is the best, however it needs to be watched, people just come in to take pictures of the view, then strip down and pass time in the pool, take the few chairs available and never pay to be at the hotel… we stayed last year, came back this year, but a bit disappointed on paying customers actually staying here share...
Prime location on the entire island! Corner view. The best was the infinity pool and cafe views. The rooms are clean, quiet and perfect for a couple. The staff was always available to help with anything.
This is where I’d stay again when we come back.
Great food at the cafe and the service is wonderful!
The hotel is average, the rooms are a bit worn out, but the staff is polite.
The hotel's location is excellent. The rooms themselves are very old, full of history. It's fine for a couple of nights. We left a 500 baht deposit when checking in, which was returned upon checkout. There's a great restaurant with a view!
The room is quite old-fashioned, but since we're on an island, that doesn't surprise me. The staff are very pleasant and understanding.
