Wel the hotel looked nice at first glance, then we came in and the people at the reception where not friendly at all.
They did not speak english and the language barrier seemed to annoy them.

So when we wanted to check in they made a mistake with the booking, and it was overbooked but we could come back the next day if we still wanted to get our money's worth (refund for not an option due to the policy) so we booked somewhere else for that day and returned the day after.

When we came back they informed us that the room that we payed for was again not an option but they had a smaller room for then upcoming days, seeing as we thought a room is a room sure we would take it, dear God did we made a mistake.

The whole bed was infected with bed bugs and ant's, blood stains and public hairs and further more the room smelled like fungus.

We went back and asked the reception for a solution or a refund because this was unacceptable.

They blatantly ignored us, literally ignored our request to find a solution..

Needless to say we packed our stuff and just got out of there.

Don't go there bad customer service and hygiene

Go there for the mountain walk

The hotel is situated relatively low on a hillside, with bungalows on stilts. It's a budget-friendly option. There's no fridge, but there is air conditioning. Everything worked, except there was no water early in the morning, so I had to go on my excursion without washing up. There's a very basic pool.

Nice place with good view

Cool bungalows on the hill. Great sea view, and the bungalow itself was clean and tidy. Yes, there are gaps in the floor and walls, as mentioned in other reviews, but I didn't encounter any critters or insects. Good water pressure from the shower. I was really impressed that a staff member carried my backpack all the way to the bungalow – that was a nice touch! Be aware that if you're not in good physical shape, the uphill walk might be a bit challenging, as the incline is quite steep. Overall, I really enjoyed it! 👍

We spent 2 nights here. The location is outside the main tourist area, in a place where locals live. Be prepared for motorbikes and cars whizzing past you as you walk to and from the hotel. The entire neighborhood is littered with piles of trash, and there are chickens, cats, and dogs running around. There are no sidewalks. The hotel itself consists of small, quite dilapidated summer bungalows. Everything is very old. Please note: there's no TV, no kettle, no hairdryer, and not even a fridge! Forget about cold drinks in your room. The approach to the bungalow is via a steep staircase with high steps. The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable; the springs dug into our bodies, and we left with sore backs. On the plus side, the air conditioning worked fine, there was hot water, and the staff were friendly. Considering we paid 84 euros for 2 nights, you can decide for yourselves if it's worth it. I would never come back here, not even for 20 euros! Providing basic amenities isn't expensive, but the hotel management clearly thinks otherwise.

Have you ever wanted to find yourself in a jungle? To fall asleep to the sounds of the most beautiful tropical birds, the rustling of wild animals, the croaking of frogs, and breathe in the scents of the forest? This hotel offers absolutely all of the above.

It's a very atmospheric hotel. It almost perfectly matches the paintings where early 20th-century artists depicted rural settlements in Thailand. It was probably built around the same time.

This hotel truly has three stars. The first star is a house with a roof, the second star is a bed and a shower, and the third star is the unique charm of the Thai countryside.

If you've ever been hiking and slept in a tent, then you won't be bothered by finger-thick and leg-long gaps in the cabin walls. In fact, that's by design. Nothing should prevent you from enjoying the sounds and smells of the forest. And the hotel's very fortunate location on the mountain allows you to see the extensive valley of the island between two green mountains.

Thanks to its slight distance from the nightlife and daytime hustle and bustle, there aren't many guests at the hotel, which is ideal for travelers seeking solitude.

Sitting at breakfast, gazing at the morning green tropical valley, and sipping delicious instant coffee from a packet, all I was missing was a tropical downpour. The sound of raindrops on the tin roof would have helped me ponder the eternal and drown out thoughts about minor imperfections in the accommodations.

Thank you to the hotel staff for making these 24 hours the most unique of my entire vacation.

P.S. No disabled access.

I have to say that location wise it’s quite nice, not in the very crowded center but still walking distance from everything. Another perk is that they had hot water and also a water dispenser to refill our bottles. However, the place is also a bar and the loud speaker was just above our room. Even though there was barely anyone at the bar they were blasting the music. We had to ask twice every night to turn it down because it’s impossible to sleep like that. Also the door to the terrace was not working at all we always struggled to open it and close it. The guy at the reception at first when we arrived was nice but the rest of the staff was rude and not helpful at all. We thought this place is a “chill hippie vibe” hotel that’s why we chose it. It’s not at all like that, our neighbors were a bunch of 19 years olds always getting back super drunk and banging on every door, screaming and shouting for an hour in the middle of the night. Absolutely not a great vibe! When we told the staff, there was nothing done about it. Would not recommend to stay here, the only perk is the nice view….

Best in budget. I took a sea view room, and it was the best. You can hear the sound of the waves. I had chilled beer and enjoyed the sound of the wind and waves.

The area and the hostel itself is very loud long into the night, even tho they advertise themselves as a more quiet place. When we wanted to check-out early to find an actually quiet place, they wouldnt refund us, and told us to message our booking site, even though it says on booking.com that we need to talk to the host about any changes to the booking. They did not understand and kept saying we had to message Agoda, even though we told them countless times that we didnt use Agoda, but rather booking.com.
Horrible greedy place.

Very basic, functional but no aesthetics. Their neighbors burn plastic daily in the evenings and it stinks.

The mosquito net is too small and I got bites all night. There are small openings in that building so you cannot keep them out.

Every night until 1a.m. party music from a remote party.

Phi Phi is beautiful during daytime but unless you’re in your twenties and want to party, I wouldn’t recommend this island.

Overpriced for what you get.
