D2 lamoon resotel

Everything, central location near to the old town and a very comfortable room I wil definitely stay again!

Hotel is spacious with a small balcony. Staff attitude is good in general.
Pros:
1. Good location in Phuket Town, just minutes walk to 7-11, Limelight Mall and the reputed Kim's Massage
2. Airport buses stop right at the hotel entrance. Cost of fare 100 baht vs. 750 baht by taxi.- travel time about 1 hrs under normal traffic condition
3. They have elevators (but it was under repair during my stay)
4. Provide larger bottles of complimentary drinking water; mini bar items are also cheap
Cons:
1. Rooms lack of natural light and artificial lighting inside the room is rather dim
2. Restaurant only serves breakfasts in the mornings and drinks only throughout the day.
3. Breakfast quality is one of the worst I experienced amongst the budget hotels. I had to pay 100 baht though. Fried eggs in the chaffing dish is cold and rubbery; the heated coffee is just too old; the whole plate of bananas are dark skinned and mushy... the whole presentation was just not appetizing
