Best Hotels in Phuket

This hotel seems to be quite controversial, but my two or three stays here have all been pretty good. The room was a bit damp, though. There's a new development across the street with lots of water activities for kids.

The facilities and amenities were excellent, and the air conditioning was promptly fixed when it broke down in the middle of the night. The room we were given faced the beach directly, and the breakfast was superb

There was Thai rice vermicelli among the hot food, which was good enough. The hotel is massive, with at least five or six pools. I only used the one in front of my room, which was great and very convenient

However, several friends and family members who stayed here a few years ago all had positive things to say, so I ultimately chose this hotel. My actual experience was better and more consistent than expected

There was a faint pleasant scent upon entering, which shows the hotel puts extra effort into air quality management. Phuket's climate is inherently humid, so a slight feeling of dampness is normal

The front desk staff were friendly and patient; I didn't encounter any of the attitude problems mentioned in other reviews. The room itself didn't have any noticeable dampness or musty smells

This is a fantastic hotel! The staff, facilities, and service were all excellent. The food, pool, and kids' play areas all deserve 5 stars. Now for a few negatives: Our check-in was quite unpleasant

The breakfast was quite bad limited range of food omelette of the day was delicious but other than that it’s not that good. For example i can’t find salmon or other protein to eat

The service, location and facility is very good. They have pickleball court but don’t understand why close at 6pm

We had changed the guest name mid-booking and notified the hotel via Ctrip, but there was a communication breakdown between the hotel and Ctrip, leading to us not being able to check in

Compared to some negative reviews online, I personally think this place is absolutely worth recommending—a perfect choice for a Phuket vacation, you can book with confidence

However, the Ctrip staff resolved it promptly, so kudos to them! The hotel isn't very close to a 7-Eleven or restaurants; it usually takes about a 10-minute walk

As it is so near to Bangla street where parties are usually on till midnights. Also there was some renovation work going on, they did it in the afternoon. Bath tub is a little small but just nice for petite

The other with dumbells, kettlebells, and strength training machines. Pool is decent and lots of beach chairs provided. Downside is noise might be noticeable if you are light sleeper

We were attracted by the photos of the rooms - stylish and beautiful rooms, but we were alarmed by the reviews that the photos did not correspond to reality and the rooms were already a bit run down

Strategic location for sure, easy access to everywhere. Walking distance to beach, shopping malls, plenty shops nearby

Even if we had to go further places, motorbike rental shops are just outside of the hotel, allowing easy rental and return. Well equipped gym room, one for cardio exercises with treadmill, rowing machine etc

Lovely view from the room ( we were on the 9th Floor). Neat and tidy, good breakfast, and very close to the parties at Patong

The buffet breakfast is fantastic! Every morning there was a new cuisine and something exciting to try. Honestly 1 of the best breakfast buffet i have ever had! Overall we had a great stay here

The hotel is right by Patong Beach, and it has a pool that faces the beach directly. The hotel environment is excellent, and the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable

The room comes with a card to exchange towels downstairs, which is very convenient. There's also a foot-washing station at the entrance, so you can rinse off after a day at the beach

This hotel exceeded my expectations! It's located at the quieter end of Patong Beach, offering a peaceful retreat while still being within walking distance of a 7-Eleven

The hotel does serve pork, but I was informed that all chicken and beef are sourced from halal butchers and prepared according to halal guidelines. Of course, best to proceed based on your own comfort level

My friend and I came to stay here, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious enough for two people, and the service was good too

It was pretty good, my kids loved playing in the water. The water facilities were excellent. The location was also quite good. During the Spring Festival, they even decorated with Chinese elements

There are many takeout options nearby, and a robot even delivers food to your room, which feels very safe. Overall, it was a perfect stay and excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it to friends

The location is very convenient; you can basically walk out to find food or go to 7-Eleven. The breakfast was also good, and the environment was very tranquil. Swimming was easy and convenient

We booked a family room, which had two bedrooms and a living room, perfect for our group of six. It was very convenient, not far from Rawai Beach, and a great base for visiting Coral Island

The front desk service was excellent; they proactively offered me a room with a better view. Both check-in and check-out were super fast

The rooms are much more comfortable after the renovation. The front desk staff are all very friendly, especially Lilly, Patty, and Netty. These ladies have such warm and welcoming smiles

The breakfast was also good; they didn't check the number of people, so you could just walk in and out, no one really monitored it. The humidity issue wasn't too severe either. Overall, everything was pretty decent

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Karon Beach, just a few minutes' walk away. There are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, and bars nearby

The room looked good after the upgrade, but the only downside was that rooms facing the street were too noisy; the bar across the road sang all night, making it impossible to sleep

It's also nice that they have two pools with bars where you can chill and enjoy some refreshing drinks. And the staff? They're top-notch! Always friendly, helpful, and making sure you have a fantastic stay

Great hotel with nice amenities. Two large pools, close to the nightlife. Just remember there are 8 or 9 Andaman hotels in Patong alone

Don't put the wrong one in your GPS and start walking and have your phone die and lose your passport. This place is a maze to navigate with GPS and next to impossible without it unless you're very familiar and read Thai

Cleanliness in the room on arrival wasn’t the best, there were marks in the bathroom and what looked like mould on the sink. There were plates outside the room when we arrived also that stayed there for days

The family room on the seventh floor was generally good. It wasn't damp, had a nice view, and the overall cleanliness was decent, though a few small bugs are to be expected in a tropical region

The resort environment is pretty good. I was a bit worried at first because I saw a lot of negative reviews, but after checking in, the air conditioning wasn't cooling well on the first night

The soundproofing is excellent; even though there's a kids' pool and water slide right outside, there's no noise, it's very quiet. The breakfast selection is incredibly rich

The only downside was that the bunk beds got quite hot in the late afternoon sun. Overall, it's a very good value-for-money family hotel

Cons: The downsides were pretty obvious. The room had an unpleasant odor, and the cleanliness was just so-so – we even found ants 🐜. As for breakfast, it was standard, nothing particularly good or bad

We’ve chosen garden view, which was actually partial sea view and not so noisy as swimming pool view. Food was nice, but mostly Asian style

Pros: Has a private beach, and the sea is clean and beautiful, allowing you to avoid the crowds. I arrived at 3 PM to check in, but wasn't informed that my room was ready until around 3:40 PM

The location is a bit secluded, with not much to see or do nearby

Very satisfied, the hotel is beautiful, I love it! I'll choose to stay here again next time I visit.

The rooms are comfortable and include a balcony, which is very convenient for washing and drying clothes. Additionally, the shower temperature is stable and easy to adjust

But the best part was the incredible staff at the reception. A huge thank you to Som-oh, Cher, A-new, Jeena, and Eve. They were unbelievably friendly, helpful, and always smiling

Absolutely amazing stay at Duanjitt Resort & Spa! We had one of our best holidays ever here. The atmosphere is calm, green, and relaxing — exactly what we needed

No fresh fruits in the smoothies and cocktails were like just drinking water with a splash of taste. The room we stayed was ok,not a new one but everyday maids came to clean. Breakfast was good for a 4star hotel

The pizza at the Italian restaurant was delicious, and the beachfront restaurant had the best ambiance and service. The pool's happy hour from 4-6 PM is definitely worth checking out for a drink

This hotel is perfect for a vacation! The private beach is excellent for snorkeling; I saw even more fish species there than on the island hopping tour

Ever since we checked in, we had felt the warm welcome from the staff and the housekeepers. The room was spacious, and the facilities were good. And my kids loved the pool right in front of the room

The chalet is really very good: spacious, beautiful, and with an amazing view. It has all the kitchen utensils, although we didn’t use them, and it was extremely clean

It’s not possible to walk down, as the distance is quite far. For those who rent a motorbike, this isn’t an issue and everything becomes very easy

Graceland resort and spa was amazing experience for my family. The staff are always friendly to us. The rooms are an excellent size. They always have activities for us and the kids to do. Theres always something fun to do

However, the restaurant didn't have a price list, and the prices were very inflated, so I wouldn't recommend it. The hotel's massage service is highly recommended – it was excellent

Even though it was a bit crowded after Chinese New Year, the service was still on point, and the cleanliness was impeccable.

Good Stay, But Be Cautious We stayed at Fisherman’s Harbour and overall had a good experience in terms of the room comfort and food quality — both were quite satisfying

* They could have improved the bathroom design (it was ltl bad design). It's spacious but no bathtub and the shower pipe was not in good condition. We were on the 6th floor and the view was good

Good resort situated in Phuket. Food was good even though the Indian spreads could have been better. Beach and walking street are nearby. Lot of Indian restaurants nearby too !

We had a great stay at Mida, the location of the hotel is very good, you have great access to most of the beaches. Best option to move around is a scooter or a motorbike, since beaches are kinda close

Great hotel in Surin Beach area. The room decor was modern and spacious. I enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet. Enjoy the good coffee and soft serve daily. The multiple pools and loungers were great

The staff are super friendly, Bao, Jack & the whole team provided an outstanding service and nothing was too much trouble! The room was always clean and the food of a good standard! The room is spacious, food is decent and entire resort area is large. Good for family stay. Near-by area is very convenient, exchange place, restaurant, convenient stores are all there. 

We went for the all include package which included a large menu and selection of drinks to choose from (the actual menu’s were affordable and lots to choose from too for anyone that wanted just room)

It's about a 15-minute walk to the street with cafes, but the uphill walk back to the hotel isn't comfortable. Taxis won't take you for 100 baht; you have to offer 200 baht for them to agree

An older hotel with an excellent location, close to both Kata and Karon. However, the linens were subpar, and the water quality was terrible. I'd recommend bringing your own filter shower head.

Check-in was also an issue; they were slow. We arrived at 12 PM but only got into our room at 2:30 PM. And the room wasn't cheap; we paid 13,000 rubles per night. We stayed during peak season, January 2026

The breakfasts are repetitive; there's nothing 'wow. ' The fruit selection is poor, but they do offer European bread, which isn't common in other hotels

Soap is only available as liquid, and each person gets only two towels, which are worn out and not pure white. The mattress is saggy and soft

Water pressure is weak, making it hard to wash long hair, and no conditioner is provided. On top of all that, the hotel is located on a hill

Location is good as you can access Old Town Phuket as well as shop at shop lots nearby; for 7-Eleven you have to walk a little to reach there
