The facilities and amenities were excellent, and the air conditioning was promptly fixed when it broke down in the middle of the night. The room we were given faced the beach directly, and the breakfast was superb. My whole family was very happy with our stay.

We were thrilled to get a free upgrade to a two-bedroom suite in the new building! What's even better is that you can step right out onto the balcony and into the 1.2-meter deep swimming pool. There is a steep slope to royal wing which is inconvenient for elderly as well as pushing the luggage. Housekeeping was slow. Room is still not cleaned at ard 3.30pm. Do not stay here if you can't stand the loud music.

It was pretty good, my kids loved playing in the water. The water facilities were excellent. The location was also quite good. During the Spring Festival, they even decorated with Chinese elements. I feel like Chinese tour groups would also visit, making it very suitable for family trips.

Traveling as a family of five, we had to book two rooms. The hotel rooms were even worse than a budget hotel like Home Inn in China, but we tolerated it for the proximity to Karon Beach. I've stayed at Katabamgo before, and while it definitely offers better value for money, I still prefer Orchid because it's much closer to Karon Beach, and Karon Beach itself is more beautiful.

Pros: Has a private beach, and the sea is clean and beautiful, allowing you to avoid the crowds. Cons: 1. Check-in was quite slow. I arrived at 3 PM to check in, but wasn't informed that my room was ready until around 3:40 PM. 2. The location is a bit secluded, with not much to see or do nearby.

A standard family-friendly hotel. Even though the Christmas prices were outrageous, it mostly met this mom's need to relax while traveling with kids. We didn't leave the hotel for two days and the kids were never bored, playing until they instantly fell asleep every night.

The staff were warm and attentive, the rooms were clean and hygienic, and the hotel's restaurant and facilities were all excellent. The only downside is the average location; even with the shuttle bus, it takes over 20 minutes to get to Patong Beach, and Karon Beach is even further. If you choose this hotel, you can temporarily set aside other plans and just enjoy your stay.

I will not recommend families to stay here. Rooms aren't sound proofed or blackout and it gets bright early as the curtains aren't able to keep them out so my kids didn't have a restful sleep especially in the second room. I love my stay at this hotel, I celebrated my birthday and they decorated the bed nicely. The room was clean and well maintained. I tried the floating lunch time tea and it was absolutely delicious!!!!! Every things tasted so good ! There is a shuttle to take you from the lobby to the room also very helpful.

Great location, very convenient surroundings. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the beach. The room was a bit old, but everything else was excellent. There's a 7-Eleven, a pharmacy, and plenty of dining options right outside. The staff were also very welcoming.
