Lipda Resort in Prachuap Khiri Khan

2 nights in the « best room » with pool access (over $200 a night, more than 7,500 baht).

Upon entering the room, I was immediately disappointed: it smelled like must and pigeon droppings. It felt abandoned and run-down. Pigeons had nested above the doors, and their droppings were all over the walls, floor, and even the pool. The fridge had mold, the curtains were torn, there were brownish-red stains (like blood) in the closet, and both dead and live insects on the floor. The two rooms were concrete boxes without windows, like prison cells (I promise I'm not exaggerating). The shower had low pressure and alternated between freezing and scalding.
If I’d had a choice, I would have left within two minutes to find another hotel.

Breakfast was included and fairly generous, but beware: the juices were industrial and overly sweet, the coffee was instant and diluted, the watermelon tasted like onions (cut with the same knife), and the butter was completely melted (likely left out of the fridge for hours). For the price, I expected much better service. The waffle, however, was very good.

I was the only guest, and I gave my breakfast time in advance. The staff knew I would be at the restaurant at 9:30. So why did the gardener start mowing the lawn right outside with a loud machine exactly at that time?

To top it all off, the room phone rang at 2:30 AM for no reason, startling me awake and leaving me anxious.

My honest advice: don’t book this hotel—neither the cheapest rooms nor the most expensive. Whatever you choose, the value for money is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I couldn’t wait to go home.

The staff was great, but ive stayed in much better places for far l3ss money, the pool light had a long cord that went into the room to plug in, so you cant fully close the door, and the co4d went into the pool water, making it scary. Parts of the ceiling were sagging. The rain shower shoot waret out the sides.

We not stayed... From far away looking nice like a luxury resort in concrete style. but not from close, and quite expensive (4300 THB) for family room with 40m2 looking like 25m2(?)... pool water was not clean at all, We found much better one in Prachuab downtown for THB1000 with real 40m2

The ambient is to cold, and the food cost are to high. No excess to the beach.
