Big Boss Hostel in Thong Sala

THIS PLACE HAS CLOSED. If you have a booking here, make sure to find something else before arriving to the island! I can vouch for the previous review stating that the rude owner demanded their room being shared with his brother. I arrived for my reservation (made 2 months earlier) to be rudely told that they were shut down by the army. He was incredibly reluctant to give me wifi password so we could find another booking. After a quick Google search, I learned this place was shut down for being illegally operated without a license. Needless to say, we did not stay here nor would we ever give this man any business. We rented a bike from next door and made new reservations nearby. This place should be removed from Google maps altogether.

wouldn't advice anyone to stay their, I arrived after traveling for 17 hours, for the owner to great me with redness and unpleasantry. i had to wait while he finished clipping his toe nails on the table, then he told me i wasn't staying in the dorm i booked due to a lack of guest ( not surprising). I was then told i had to share a room with his older brother or cancel my booking. At the point i was confused why i couldn't just stay in dorm i booked regardless how many people was staying. The situation ended with him calling me unkind names and told me if i don't share with his brother i have to leave. At which i did of course. I know this story seems very far fetched, This is true events.
