Naivacha Tent Koh Mak in Mak

When you pay for a cabin you expect a cabin! On air BnB there was only pictures of a cabin no tents, a cabin is what I wanted to rent that is why I booked our stay at naivacha tents we payed over the average amount for a cabin here so on arrival me and my partner were quite upset when we was told we had to stay in a tent, now I was told a tent was an upgrade from a cabin but how is this so? I actually spoke to a lovely German couple who was told their booking from a tent was upgraded to a cabin, which actually they didn’t get in the end but goes to show naivacha tents obviously tell their clients what ever they want to get them in one or the other type of accommodation. The tents were noisy..obviously jungle noises that can’t be helped but to listen to dogs howling throughout the night was quite unbearable, we was told not to worry about the mosquitoes as it was not season for them but we ended up with lots of bites throughout the night as the tents weren’t completely sealed from the outside especially the shower and toilet area, we stayed 5 nights and not once was we offered any cleaning service or replacement towels but we did get extra towels when asked, over the few days we were there we saw gecko poo mounting up in the shower area which really wasn’t exceptable and quite disgusting. Breakfast was quite average, a few slices of watermelon or pineapple,no fruit juice and very greasy cheap sausages and bacon which actually the dogs loved especially the pup that looked so undernourished and skinny we both devoted our greasy breakfast every morning to him,we also bought biscuits for dogs as they quite clearly weren’t being looked after or fed properly, I would not recommend this accomadation I would not return as there are far better places to stay on the island for the same if not slightly cheaper price
