Bangbaobeach Resort in Chang Island

An excellent and relaxing place to enjoy with family. Worth every penny.

Amazing stay, relaxed beach probarly the most beautiful beach at Koh Chang, Jebby runs the place perfect and helps you whenever needed. We stayed 3 nights and after we booked a hotel at lonely beach. But at the moment we arrived there we didn't feel the ambience of Bangbao anymore and regretted we booked at Lonely beach. Anyway we rented a motorbike and stayed at the 5 km further situated bangbao Beach. Siam kitchen next to BANGBAO resort is the best restaurant eat since years

This is a great resort if you want some quiet time away from the crowds. Very clean, staff welcoming and excellent grounds facing the water

About 15 bungalows nestled in a garden on the edge of the beach. All maintained and sand raked every day. The beach is very pretty with deckchairs, deckchairs and easy swimming because there are no rocks. The bungalow and its terrace are large; storage available with wardrobe; good-sized bathroom with large shower and welcome products. Everything is very clean and cleaned every day. The welcome is super friendly and the availability of all the staff is flawless. Possibility of buying coffee, tea, drinks and beers on site at the reception for a very good price. Breakfast and meals can be taken at the restaurant next door ("Siam Kitchen") which is on the edge of the beach with your feet in the sand and whose dishes are very good. Scooter rental is possible on site and laundry in the village just behind. Can also take care of taxis if necessary. We also recommend this hotel for its calm and its geographical location!!

The hotel is located right on the beach. It's a 5-minute walk from the bridge. That's why the hotel offers luggage delivery: guests come to reception, and then a staff member on a motorbike and sidecar brings their luggage. The staff is very friendly. You step out of your bungalow, and the sea is just a few steps away. Sun loungers are assigned to each bungalow. This year, the sea was a bit cloudy, and there were some nippy midges in the evening. There's a cafe nearby where you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A 10-minute walk away is a Thai shop with an awning with reasonable prices. You can take a tuktuk to Bangbao Pier.

End of the road location (a positive as the result is minimal to no traffic) -and what a road! - free of rampant commercialism with rustic accommodations (by no means a pejorative term) less than 50 meters from excellent outdoor cafe, an uncluttered beach. The hardest part was leaving.

Private beach, quiet and peaceful. There is a massage service on the beach. The massage is very good. However, there is no restaurant in the resort. However, there is a shop on the beach. To get to the resort, it is located at the end of the island.

The beach and surrounding scenery are beautiful, but there are not many customers.
When I entered the room, something happened.
They told me to pay extra because the room price was wrongly raised.
I was asked to pay an additional fee in addition to the deposit of 1000 baht.
I paid the total cost of 1510 baht on Trip.com and received a reservation confirmation.
After arguing about canceling my room, I ended up being able to check in without an additional charge, but I felt quite bad.
The air conditioner is not cool, and there is no refrigerator in the room.
You must use the shared refrigerator at the reception.

Beautiful hotel with about 10 good size cottages, most with seaview. A bit difficult to find if you come through the village but easy if you walk on the beach. Jebbie is a great help with everything you need and the restaurant next door is the most popular on rue entire beach.
