I feel for the staff at the hotel, they are great especially the bar & restaurant staff, unfortunately I cannot say the same for the actual hotel. All inclusive holiday and the food was virtually cold most of the time, plus dinner was a rehash of lunch. The hotel is freezing cold both public areas bars, & bedrooms, if they accept winter bookings then they need to have heating in the rooms and bars. I would not book this hotel again and advise that you don’t.

This hotel is in need of lots of refurbishment, corridor carpets are very dirty, in all its tired throughout. The whole hotel is so cold , whilst I appreciate it needs to be cool in summer if they accept winter booking then they need to provide heating in all areas especially the bars and bedrooms. Food is not the best &is rarely hot . Dinner service is mostly a rehash of what was available at lunch. Although the staff were lovely especially in the dining room and bar I cannot recommend this place.

I strongly advise anyone considering Djerba Sun Beach Hotel & Spa not to book this hotel, following a shocking experience with a confirmed bed bug infestation and the deeply unprofessional way hotel management handled the situation. Within our first night, we discovered: A live bed bug, which we captured Blood stains under the pillow and on the sheets Clear photos and videos showing evidence of infestation When we reported this immediately to hotel management, we were met with disbelief, denial, and even disrespect. Despite showing the live bug and video evidence, the manager insisted there were “no bed bugs in this hotel,” suggested we were lying because no one else had reported it, and later went as far as to accuse us of bringing the bed bugs from Europe. His attitude was dismissive, unhelpful, and completely unacceptable, especially during a health and hygiene incident. This turned what should have been a relaxing holiday into a distressing and uncomfortable experience. The Positives : The Only Reason This Hotel Gets Even One Star To be completely fair, some members of staff were absolutely lovely and deserve recognition: Animation Team: Amir, Khalid and Yosra , incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely the best part of the hotel. They worked hard every day to create a fun atmosphere. Bar Staff: warm, polite, and attentive. Sofran at Reception, very helpful, friendly, and one of the few staff members who showed professionalism and kindness. These staff members are a credit to the hotel, but unfortunately, their kindness cannot compensate for the health risks, the infestation issue, and the extremely poor behaviour of hotel management. Final Verdict: A holiday should never involve dealing with bed bugs, visible bites, lack of sleep, and management who treat guests with suspicion rather than support. Until this hotel addresses its hygiene issues and trains management in proper customer care, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
