Regency Tunis Hotel in Gammarth

This is an excellent hotel. I stayed here for a few days with a mate in April, and had an unreal time. The service was spectacular, the 2 clubs within the hotel were great fun, and the food at the restaurants was delicious. The pool area and grounds were also very relaxing and well maintained. The spa/ hammam and massage was also awesome.

But it wasn't without its flaws. I think 20 years ago this place would have been flawless, but recently either economics or politics have resulted in some parts of the resort being unmaintained. Mostly the beach is now a shell of its former self, with no facilities and alot of rubbish. But the resort is a close taxi trip to la marsa and other places so it's not that bad. And the pool area is still excellent.

But as a first time tourist in Tunisia, i was pleasantly surprised to find a place so welcoming, with 24/7 bar, 24/7 restaurant, and a classy lobby to relax and smoke indoors. Thankyou to all staff at Regency Tunis for an excellent holiday!

Quite hotel, nice buffet but, needs renovation. Thank you to the staff and the good attention of the management during the breakfast.

The food is the best in comparison to any other hotel in Tunisia. The food lounge is very well organized and there is a great variety we really liked it. They are very generous! The receptionist and the workers are very respectful and welcoming.
The bad things was that the carpets in the rooms causes bad smell so we had to open the windows maybe because it’s winter. The bathrooms are very nice and wide but not well maintained. The hallways are not well cleaned and the fountains inside the hotel were turned off. Also the pool was not clean, but maybe because it’s winter.
Frankly speaking in comparison with other hotels in Sousa and alhamamat it’s worth it and it’s the best .

If u look for luxury tis aint for u.hotel is a bit old. But if u want relax close to nature private beach less ppl gym swim still affordable. I would recommend tis hotel. I walk to four seasons every morning during my stay.long walk on quiet beach.be patience when u in Tunisia.check in is a bit slow.but she’s a nice lady did found me a good room. I had a lovely stay.
