Old hotel but nice. Beautiful pool, garden and beach with sunbeds. Good food for all inclusive. The mattresses in the rooms should be replaced. Good cleaning every day. Clean sheets and towels every day.

Was a last-minute trip, and we've got the best deal ever! Really enjoyed my stay. Lovely location, nice beach, amazing staff and animation team. I will go back!

For my taste, it is too big an industrial hotel with one pool and a beach where there are not enough sunbeds for all the guests. The food is of solid good quality

This hotel is just near beach. The location is good. The hotel has so many rooms so that the waiting time might be very long.

Very good Hotel equipped of any service just on the beach!!!

The food was inedible (too salty or sweet), the buffet was overcrowded, and the facilities are poor, featuring huge cockroaches, an absurdly small TV, and permanently occupied sunbeds

The room was perfect, impeccably clean, well organized and comfortable, with a lovely view to the sea that made mornings and evenings special

The whole hotel has a calm, relaxing atmosphere that’s ideal for a restful break. Despite the tranquility, there’s plenty to do: the hotel offers multiple activities, and there are especially lots of options for kids

I like the hosting of the hotel it ‘s so accessible, helpfuly and welcoming to everyone, the room was spaced, organized and into a sea view and I read appreciate the organizers and the staff for their hospitality and their assistance

2- We had to pass by an open door area to go to the indoor swimming pool during a cold time which was very uncomfortable (got a cold after that) 3- Booked an all inclusive and still need to pay for the gym? why?

Its a nice quiet place to stay with swimming pools and sunset views on the sea Bar offers free finger food plate with each drink order which is very nice. They have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink at the bar

The infinity pool is superb, the private beach is well-maintained, and the spa center is very professional, offering quality treatments in a soothing atmosphere

Very good rooms and staff are polite, english speaking and welcoming. Nice bar and perfect views of the sea We were given warm face towels and mint tea on arrival while waiting for check in

Hotel is in great location, 5 min from center of city Medina. Its very nice and quite place, with nice rooms with beautiful see view. All personal and service is on high level and very profesional

The hotel is clean and comfortable, with good food and beautiful surroundings, but what really made the difference was the animation team

It meant that if you miss breakfast - you have to wait for lunch until you can eat. Positives: The spa was AMAZING and value for money, the salt pool and jacuzzi was unreal and the staff were lovely

We loved all the activities that they put on and you can see their love and passion for their job in all that they do. We loved doing aqua gym in the sea, the Botcha every day with Malek

Information for other travellers: safe key is 3TND a night (November 2025), and the water pressure in the bathroom is quite low (showers were still pleasant, but I chose not to wash my hair there as it would have taken ages)

I have walked along the beach to look at the other hotels but Plaza Hotel remained outstandingly nicer. Our balcony overlooks the side of the pool but the sea was right in front of us and it was nice waking up to that

We stayed at this hotel for two nights only and wished our stay there was longer. It was the best hotel we stayed at in Tunisia. There was a wide variety of delicious food. The hotel itself was lovely, everywhere

The rooms are well appointed, and importantly the bed were comfortable, and we slept well! One evening we sat in the bar and musicians played, mostly instrumental songs, and young people were there to encourage older individuals to dance

Excellent hotel, were in October with a small child. Very clean, lovely restaurants, favorite on the beach. Large clean pool. Not for a noisy fun holiday, a lot of French people

Same for the (small) beach: too much waste and garbage which should be cleaned up. This last is probably the most annoying issue, especially if you have a beach front room. Still overall a pleasant experience

The trip without any research turned out to be the most surprising adventure. When you go to Tunisia, stay at the Movenpick Hotel Gammarth and find the customer service manager Julian. He will help you with everything

Modern and spacious with fantastic view. Very professional and friendly service. Our room ( EXEC BEACH FRONT) was spacious and well equiped with a comfortable bed. Wifi works well throughout the hotel

Before coming to Tunisia, I didn’t do any research or rent a car. I only booked a room for two days out of a four-day trip

Most rooms share a terrace with 5 or 6 other rooms, and the cleanliness of these shared spaces is quite poor. The main pool is large and clean, but the salty water makes swimming and relaxing less enjoyable

Nice spacious rooms, good for events, several facilities and pool, fun for families and business events, far from city but if the beach is sufficient for you, go for it!

However, there are many non-standard rooms, and the cleanliness of the public areas leaves much to be desired. A five-minute walk takes you to the beach, next to a café operated by an external contractor

Unfortunately, the staff there are not particularly welcoming, and it would have been better if the management of the private beach had remained under the hotel’s direct control

We stayed here in early June, and I'm not sure if it's out-of-season or not, but the resort was rather empty, dull, and boring

The breakfast now doesn't even reach the standards of a three-star hotel. The cleanliness is still excellent, but you'll be negatively impacted by the reduced service due to the distance to the shops

It was amazing, and lovely service, the location is great near the beach and all the restaurants around, we had a great animation team for the new year eve and we had all type of music specially the local one

And the pool was nice but i liked the beach more, beside the animation was everything in fact the animation of hotel joya paradise was the best animation i even seen so thank you for the good hospitality ❤️

We didn't have any hand towels or beach towels in the room. The minibar in the room was empty. The safe was difficult to use. Water leaked out of the bathtub because it wasn't mounted all the way to the wall

When you asked, they said the music was from the neighboring hotel. It's not directly on the beach, but you will be transported there for free in a horse-drawn carriage

The pool view rooms are great and clean, both the main restaurants and a la carte restaurants are wonderful with really amazing food. The service in the main restaurant is very professional and good

We would like to thank a lot to the animators Madi and Sérine, which was kind, funny and grate professionals. But at the end of our stay we didn't see Madi anymore

The activities that he was doing were not the same anymore and we and many other guests were wandering what is going on. We would like to thank also to the animator Kaïs, who was very kind

At the reception worked kind people with a lot of experience

Overall we were happy by the county, enjoyed our time in Sahara and crocodile farm but would never consider coming back to the hotel, because of attitude which is the most important aspect in everything

We are staying at the hotel for the third time. Everything was great except the animation this time. We were coming back for the good animation, but it was better in June

Lobby and place next to the bar was good but it will probably look better when it will be in the middle of season and everything will be open (some bars were closed due to the weather and the fact we were there at the start of march) Location is great it is near everywhere and if anyone wants to visit the city the taxi is always available and no more than 2 euro (5 dinar)

The best thing about this hotel are people working there, everyone is kind and grateful for everything even small tips and also they don’t expect tips. Servers and barman’s are funny and talkative but in the nice way

Although we visited off season, there was still so much happening. They made a big effort on Christmas and New Year. The hotel and entertainment staff were lovely and very welcoming

There are more animators but I spent most of my tike with this four and I don’t regret it. Food was delicious a lot of choices and desserts were unrealistic. Every single day there were fresh fruits and veggies

Every night they would hype everyone to dance. They also had many games and shows prepared. I have never met such amazing animators like Wissal, Emy, Saif and Giada (sorry if I spelled the names wrong)

I was surprised how the whole entertainment team was only good people. They all were respectful and made sure everyone felt welcomed at activities and they were making sure everybody had fun

very lovely swimming pool with lovely people working there. The location of the hotel is quite close to my destination as well as some of the others shopping center , restaurant, coffee shop beach etc

The room was just awful, we had a "nice view" in to the chicken pit where they make food for you. The AC was not functional, there were only 3 power plugs

Also the hotel bar by the pool. Super loud music until 1am (sharp). I was in a good mood and I didn't mind and the music playing was great but some people want to go back to their rooms to rest

The staff was really friendly and helpfull (although 2 members tried flirting with me, not very professional). There are 2 football practise fields next to the hotel, so some times of the day they can be loud

Even on the 5th floor it was super loud. Walking distance to everything. Overall great stay, great hotel! Great value for money. 10/10 would stay again if I get the chance

As someone else mentioned, I was afraid because of the bad comments but honestly everything was great. My room was on the 5th floor, beautifull, big and clean

Cons: my room was on the front if the hotel so the airport and train noise made difficult to sleep, but I think rooms deep in the hotel (especially with sea view) wouldn't have this problem

I really enjoyed my one night stay more than I expected to. It was a business trip and I only needed a place to stay the night at a reasonable price, but it was a pleasant stay nonetheless

Well, if you expect luxury and you plan on staying in, and for an extended period, I don’t think this is for you. But, it is a pretty decent hotel, at a very reasonable price

Pros: friendly staff, very reasonable price, close to airport and train station, two bottles of water offered in the room, toiletry and towels provided

Overall, it's a decent hotel at a reasonable price, I'd recommend it for short stays if you don't seek luxury or sophistication

Also the rooms could use a bit more cleaning. It's Autumn, so flies outside (on tge terrace) were so annoying

Had a lovely time, excellent location, close to Hannibal park, marina, sousse mall and directly on the beach. Hotel is looking quite dated inside but everything else was spot on

I was in the hotel for week 10, that is, just before the Ramada. The hotel is clean, the food is good, the cleanliness is good. At least the water in the indoor swimming pool is warm enough

The atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful, with well-maintained gardens and a lovely pool area that made it easy to unwind

The room is being cleaned every day. Bar is good. The pool is large and has a lot of sunbeds. Beach is lovely, soft sand. Animation team is brilliant, lots of activities.

The food was delicious, with plenty of variety and great quality every day. The animation team did such a great job keeping everyone entertained always full of energy and fun activities for both kids and adults

Nice hotel lots of green space and nice views around. food is not too good as well the drinks. the staff is good the room service too. the bit royal appartements are very nice and the small pool is very nice and calm

The reception team was also fantastic, very professional and friendly, always ready to help with anything I needed. Honestly, everything about this hotel was very good from the service to the atmosphere

I asked to change rooms because the first one was by the pool. It's impossible to find any peace and quiet by the pool. It's a real shame because the hotel itself is nice, and the staff are pleasant

I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to relax during your vacation. It's like a nightclub from 10 am to midnight, non-stop. You can't hear yourself think, even with friends

Me and my friend booked room with sea view but we got sea side view. There on of woman who made complain of same situation and next day she got real sea side view room

I had an amazing time at Mahdia Palace, and a big part of that was thanks to the fantastic animation team! A specially Mr ASH They were always full of energy and made every day fun and exciting

In the evening, the shows were entertaining and full of laughs – you could really see how much effort they put into their work

The team organized a great variety of activities throughout the day, from sports and games to dance and fitness sessions

They were also very friendly and always took time to talk with guests and make everyone feel included
