We booked two days in this hotel, clean room, the food was really delicious. It has an amazing view, the swimming pool is clean, the sea is beautiful , the animation team so lovely and funy

I came with my family and i had a great time because of Clean beach very fun pool and they played good music great animation great animateurs especially Aymen Pablo animateur of sport

Nice complex with three great pools. Perfect location with a private beach. More than enough choice at the buffets, with every day a different menu. The hotel is very clean, with specious rooms

It’s also an excellent base for exploring the beautiful sights of Tunisia, such as Sousse, Kairouan, or Monastir. Port El Kantaoui is within walking distance, especially if you go along the beach

The hotel has an enthusiastic entertainment team, but also a very beautiful quiet pool. And for the (rare) cloudy days, there is an indoor pool. The grounds are very green and well kept

The hotel excels in every respect The food in particular is varied every day and top quality service in the hotel also excels in friendly staff and clean rooms. All in all, a hotel that I can recommend to everyone.

The safety measures in place gave us peace of mind, allowing us to fully indulge in the fun. 3-There was also a relaxing pool far from the kids slide water pool

They were also serving early breakfast for people who were fasting at 4am then open again for the usual breakfast time that starts from 7am to 10am

The hotel was far from the airport but it was worth the drive, the beach was right by the hotel, the staffs are absolutely pleasant , English wasn't too good but they all tried to communicate

My stay was excellent! The diversity and flavor of the dishes were remarkable. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. In addition, the room offered a magnificent view of the swimming pool and the sea

Pros: 1-The outstanding service and facilities provided by the staff left a lasting impression on us, and I wanted to take a moment to commend the whole team from the housekeeping staff, to the coaches, to the talented chef and restaurant staff: all were cheerful , very polite, committed to make us feel home , always with a genuine smile on their face

location was perfect beach private I might add was walking distance water park right next door and the fair and port a 10 min walk if that

I've stayed at The Houria Palace Hotel many times and cannot recoil highly enough. It's fantastic value for money for solo travellers, cpls and families alike It's currently undergoing sympathetic upgrades to the rooms

The staff are amazing and there is always a good choice of food in the restaurant. The resort is Port El Kantouia and its vibrant with lots of things to do for everyone

For the 2nd time in this hotel, very friendly staff, food good could be warmer, the air conditioning did not work so that was sweating, not nice cleaning every day, lovely swimming pool

Accommodation bungalows are cleaned and tidy every day. Food is very tasty - there is always plenty of food to choose from. The pool is always clean, the beach is nice

I visited Samira Club in August 2025. It was one of the best experiences I had. It says 3 stars, but in fact the services Samira Club provided is 5 stars. I am not sure why it is not 5 star holiday destination

The overall atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant. I have been to the hotel six times and I will definitely come back. I recommend the hotel for a pleasant holiday

Some very good (Gabsi Fancay, a very nice gentleman, who sings and plays the keyboard twice weekly), and some definitely not do good who tended to play their music as loud as possible to hide their poor capability to sing! This was an out of season holiday, so in the main season it could be a different choice of performers

The hotel lobby/lounge is large and comfortable and offers beautiful views across the patio terrace, gardens and out to sea

We spent 4 weeks here in January and though the hotel was very quiet, it didn’t lack atmosphere and the service by the wonderful staff was second to none

One evening we experienced exceptionally heavy rain and has to exit the à la carte restaurant (which is a separate building), via the kitchen to return to the main hotel and I’m delighted to say that the kitchens are also spotlessly clean and the staff were very suitable dressed for good preparation

For the price we paid can't fault it. Spending New year in Greeks island or Canaries would require to multiply our price X3 Not a massive choice off food yes but it's enough for majority and always taste and fresh

We noticed lots off rubbish thrown out everywhere even the beach outside hotel. Management doing there bits right as you see bored cleaners here and there but unfortunately they not doing it right in return

Unfortunately outside your room Tunisia in general screams for a deep clean. Hotel Staff are there for the job but not so keen on cleaning or raising standards, I noticed it could be in there coulture

Hotel situated in peaceful location , just outside off town centre, very nice and extremely well maintained garden. We had a good and quality time in Tunisia

When the weather improved we enjoyed the outdoor heated pool, beach, tennis, archery, Pilates, aqua gym and the many activities the resort offers

As a pastry chef myself, the local desserts didn't excite me very much, but that is my subjective feeling. Free WiFi was available throughout the entire hotel and even on the beach

There was never an issue to get a sun lounger and there are plenty of quieter places to hang out if you don't like to be at main pool where the animation team are based and where music plays all day

There is security on the beach and at the front gates so within the hotel complex you feel completely safe

The food at the restaurant is delicious (the bambaloni and pizza dough were yummy!) and the service is incredible. Fathi for their kindness and, also, to our thoughtful waiters, Mr. Othman for always looking after us

The animation team is offering multiple activities from morning till evening, for kids and adults. Rio and his team, especially Ms. Linco who went above and beyond to entertain our kids

I liked the location, swimming pools and Food. the walking area around the hotel is beautiful

The hotel suite had three spacious rooms, and the buffet dinner was incredibly abundant. There were many traditional dishes, all to our liking. Plus, we could order local wines and beers – everything was fantastic!

Now, after the vacation, I can say that not all of these opinions are credible. The hotel is not new (and most hotels in this area are similar). However, this does not mean that it is neglected

I stay here for one week returning on 1st march 2026. It was my 4th time in Tunisia, before staying in Hammermet, Port el Kantoui and Sousse. Probably spelt all those wrong! Anyway

Hotel is great and pretty clean even it’s old and room are basic , some stuff needs to be changed like bathrooms and toilets seats are not comfortable, swimming pool is great and pretty clean and most personal are friendly and helpful i would like to thank animation team because they are doing great work to make people happy and they are very professional as well, kitchen is clean and food is poor...

My wife and I spent 7 days in this hotel in the high season (August). We consider the holiday to be very successful. I read a lot of reviews about this hotel in various forums

The à la carte restaurant was a highlight, Waheed provided excellent service, and the food was delicious. Naeem was also fantastic, making us feel well taken care of

The rooms could use some renovation — after every shower, the bathroom turned into a private swimming pool, and the toilet was leaking. However, the cleaning staff did an excellent job cleaning the rooms daily

The pool is beautiful and peaceful, and you can still find a sunbed at a decent time without having to rush

The animation team were fantastic, they put on special entertainment for new year's eve. Evening entertainment differed from night to night. Every evening made special and suitable for the audience

The hotel is spotless and beautifully presented. Some of the bedrooms need updating but it adds to the Tunisian charm. There is only one plug socket in the bedroom but we packed a power bank which worked well

Mind the awfully rude security personnel. Otherwise, it remains one of the best luxury hotels in Tunisia, from all perspectives, including catering, facility, ambiance and others.

We arrived at the hotel full of excitement, but unfortunately our initial room didn’t quite meet our expectations

However, the reception team handled the situation wonderfully and quickly upgraded us to a beautiful sea view room, which completely transformed our stay. From that point on, everything exceeded expectations

Lovely hotel nice and clean we stayed in a lovely big room looking out to the sea the cleaner Jalila was exceptional and kept our room spotless with lovely fresh flowers and decorated the bed with petals for that extra touch

Its one of amazing place in Tunis the hotel are old little bit but have a amazing stuff and very nice architecture with indoor and outdoor pool with private beach and food are great

The best thing about this hotel is the staff and the place ,The beach is just 5 minutes ,And they have 2 pools ,Outsider and inside one

They also do shows every night for kids mini-disco and then they start with the adults with comedy shows like for example, mouka and pika are the best animation team

The property is beautiful and many areas for entertainment as well as peaceful. Breakfast is free but limited variety compared to other beach hotels. Bed was wonderful, cleaning was perfect

It was huge and the bed is comfortable, a nice bath and separate shower- though the shower has seen better days, lots of limescale and didn't manage to get it to work properly. The over bath shower was fine though

The pools were heated, which made a big difference and allowed us to properly enjoy our stay despite the season. The spa facilities were good, and the massage was very relaxing and great value for money

Wow still here now and to be honest it’s the best hotel I’ve been to in Tunisia , staff are all so lovely and can’t do enough to help , animation team made our holiday and we are 2 females in our 50s , big shout out to Ricko, Mahdi, Fouffa, and Sophie who kept us entertained both daytime by the pool and in the lobby in the evening, I would definitely return to this hotel without a doubt well done Marhaba...

Having Netflix on the TV was a great added bonus, especially when travelling with children. Even though it was winter and the outdoor pools were closed, the indoor swimming pool was excellent and very convenient

We stayed here for a weekend getaway with my wife and our three children, and even though it was off-season, the experience was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and well kept, with a nice view

Staff went out there way to help alot all staff are friendly and smiley bar staff was amazing full time we where here receptionist was always there to answer our questions when needed Wajdi was really helpful when asking for information when he took us to the beach and whenever we needed anything translated down there we could ask him before he left

the beach is so beautiful and honestly worth going and the actual hotel itself is stunning. the atmosphere was brilliant and everyone had a smile on their face the whole time i was there

The animation team were great always trying to include everyone we had an amazing time with them and the pool foam party loved it

starting the holiday off i was honestly regretting it so much just driving to get to the hotel but the staff and the front desk were so helpful and friendly and we got a temporary room while waiting for our actual room which was appreciated

On site they have a tattoo place he’s brilliant a few of us got one as a memory and henna for kids which my daughter loved. I highly recommend the spa they are brilliant a few of us went in more than once

Stuff is almost pleasant and in my opinion food needs an improvement (mainly breakfast). All inclusive included alcohol, and that’s a nice touch. Rooms are super nice and swimming pool is big and it’s clean

Only one thing- smoking- for us from country where smoking is prohibited in public areas it was unpleasant to smell cigarates and breath in the smoke
