A very nice hotel with excellent service; everyone was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant and food were wonderful and delicious, and the entertainment team was fantastic and very cheerful. The rooms were great considering the price. A beautiful and wonderful hotel; my family and I had a lovely time with the Tunisians.

We have just returned from houda golf as a family of five, 2 adults and 3 children aged 11,8,5. Upon arrival, we were able to upgrade our room for a small fee, and we had a fantastic room. No frills and lots of sun. Beer and wine is fine. Something stronger is debatable. Mixers are cordial not fresh. Seeing the coastline so eroded is upsetting. Grab a taxi and see the nearby towns is fun. Oh, and the food offered is wonderful for a buffet. The variety is amazing and the Tunisian specialities are spectacular. Well done Chef Houda!!

Hotel was definitely a 3*. The food was very repetitive and wasn’t great! The animation team were good and helpful but the entertainment in the evenings was non existent, it was advertised that different things were going to be going on in the evenings but there was nothing but music being played! I've stayed at The Houria Palace Hotel many times and cannot recoil highly enough. It's fantastic value for money for solo travellers, cpls and families alike It's currently undergoing sympathetic upgrades to the rooms. Me and my partner stayed here for a couple of nights to meet up with friends. The hotel is lovely and clean. The old building is basic bedrooms and the new build rooms are lovely and the shower 🚿 wow 😍 There’s no fridge in the room rooms. The exterior pictures don't reflect reality; it looks very dated, and there's not enough parking. Otherwise, the rooms are spacious enough and clean. The staff are very polite.

Hello I am going to give you my personal opinion in relation to what I have seen and experienced in this hotel it is not 4 stars sincerely I was taken in when I arrived I find no swimming pool neither indoors nor outdoors it is disappointing and the hearty breakfast it looks like the canteen of my old faculty in short it's just apartments for rent so no luxury

great, but still they have to work a bit in order to do the hotel worth 4 stars. The coach, the chicken, the bathroom ... don't meet for sure 4* criteria. But for this price is a good hotel.

The hotel could not find our booking - STRESSFUL! We had previously stayed at this hotel. We had to wait more than an hour because the hotel did not have our booking. After time wasting communication via ********** app the booking was found. It was stress and terrible experience.

The location of the hotel is very good since you have all the amenities nearby the beach is not clean the pool is too crowded and is not so big the stuff were decent not so helpful the room was confortable not so clean though (the bath wasn't too clean) The food was okay but it was too hot in the restaurant, not much variation in the menu and too much Mouchs. Photos on some sites are not reflecting the truth. There is no white sandy beach at all. However the hotel is indeed by the beach, even closer than most palaces. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Property was cleaned daily and towels changed every day. Great location for the beach My only moan would be the breakfast not a great selection of quality food but it was edible.

The staff are really friendly, beautiful sea views from the balcony, Hotel room is cleaned everyday, I think people are expecting 5 stars on a budget who complain. Unfortunately, I don't know what it's like now, but in 2004 it was the best holiday hotel I've ever stayed in. Sure, a lot can change in 20 years, but from what I've seen in the more recent pictures, it's still a very nice hotel with a large complex.

This review is from 40 years ago when I stayed there. It was a brilliant hotel, good food, service and entertainment, in the best place, we had totally no complaints and that's why we went 3 times, loved the place.

It is a pity that Hotel Diar gets such bad reviews. I've always liked being here

Hotel located in a great tourist area, the self-service is average, the service too, what displeases are the air conditioning problems and the hygiene a little too average, however in terms of value for money, it is interesting to spend a stay there, especially for those on an average budget. I have to admit that I had a stay there 3 or 4 years ago so I hope it has improved a lot :-)

A good, modest hotel. Not bad staff. Good beach with very fine sand (take care of the cameras), very long shallow sea.
