Sousse City & Beach Hotel in Sousse

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The Wi-Fi did not work in the rooms, and the bathroom was dirty and very old. Housekeeping only came once during my entire stay. The staff were unfriendly and not welcoming. The dining hall was always overcrowded and could not accommodate all the guests. The swimming pool was much smaller than it appeared in the photos. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel

I have read this many times and sadly now I have become a victim of this line "if I could give this hotel a 0 star i would".
Avoid this hotel at all costs, the pictures are old, maybe when it was new but now this hotel will become your worst nightmare, pools do not have water so if you think you will go for a swim, a dive may end you up in hospital and the rooms do not have hot water, we checked in in the afternoon and checked out hours later, stayed at the Marhaba Beach Hotel, best decision ever.

I would not visit again. Reception was nice and helpful. I am a female and was waiting for my male friend to arrive later to the hotel. While waiting I walked past the pool which was green in colour (doesn't look at all like the pictures) and looked over at the beach in the distance. Almost immediately a young man was beckoning me to come over and I signaled no and walked back into the hotel lobby. I could sense he was following me and he then caught up to me and tried to convince me to come with him but I eventually shook him off. I then went to the elevator to go back to my room and a much older man followed me in, tried to converse with me in Arabic and then tried to follow me into my room! No double lock on doors. Please work on hotel security. I was extremely scared. In terms of cleanliness, the room is pretty dirty overall. Stains on linen, dirt on floor, tub had dark stains, no water flow in sink, hair in tub drain, I killed a few cockroaches in the bathroom. Mattress and pillow are uncomfortable. Lots of noise from the street. AC didn't work in my room so had to leave the backdoor open which I felt uncomfortable doing given what happened earlier to me. Hotel buffet food gave me a food poisoning for 5 days and tablecloths were very dirty. No wifi. I would only stay here max 1 day if I had to. Unfortunately I booked 2 nights.

The dirtiest hotel I have ever been to!! stay away for your own good!!! the room is dirty with dirt and with hair and mold in several different places and the toilet which should have been "cleaned" smells far away of chlorine and still with dirt in several places. The floor in the room is full of hair and crumbs and not even the sheets are clean so you feel dirty when you lay in bed 🤢 not even soap available in the toilet or other essentials that you usually get in hotels. The staff does not have any kind of service or just any kind of kindness shouting and discussing in the middle of the morning in the hallway and opening the door to the room even if you beg not to be interrupted !!! Noise and shouting from the street until late in the morning so you don't get any sleep! the area is in the middle of the center but the location is right next to several nightclubs which predicts a lot of noise and fights. They claim that they have internet which does not work at all and when we went to the reception the guy there said the internet only works in the lobby but not even in the lobby does the internet work 😒 there's a tv in the room which doesn' t even work or has any signal not even a remote in sight then why bother having a tv at all? STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN BEST !! this hotel should not be running and should be shut down immediately ‼️‼️🤢

I don't know where to start. This is not a hotel it is a slum. Do not belive the pics they must be about 20 years old. Start with the pool.its dirty,smelly with rubbish and cigarette ends floating in it. Green dirty old water everywhere round it. The roof top pool hadn't seen any form of cleaning or upkeep for decades. The sunbeds are unusable if you can get one. All the tiles are cracked or broken so you can't even walk on them.
Rooms. Dirty and smelly with stained mattress. Feet prints all the way up the walls . Doors don't lock half the rooms have had doors kicked in. Bare wires sticking out walls sockets have no covers toilet seat missing no water.
Restaurant. This ain't a restaurant it's a soup kitchen . That's all am saying about that or I'll be sick thinking about it.
Reception. Smells of urine when you walk in. Staff are rude and laugh when you complain. You will not get any sleep as the music from restaurant next door shakes the building till 4 in morning. I could go on and on but I am making myself depressed writing this.
Please do not go. It is a health hazard.
We had to leave after a couple of hours as we were getting ill with the place
