Hotel Mola in Marmara

Can't recall which site it appeared on, though ideal for a weekend break or more as it is readily accessible. Ferries from Tekirdag are regular and cheap, even with a car, although the hotel can be walked to through the small town on the harbour if luggage is not an issue. The hosts stem from both Germany and Turkey and the reception staff speak English and the rooms are clean and kept so, though the bathrooms a little... little, but sufficient. Great spot to sit as the sun goes down, spectacular breakfast spread on the same balcony and steps down to an exclusive beach ideal for the dip prior.

Well Priced, Simple Gem on the Water
Hotel Mola is a sweet, small family run hotel with a private beach and nice views over the water on the west side of Marmara. Why we liked it:
(1) Comfortable rooms. While not lavish, rooms have comfortable beds, decent storage space, and excellent air conditioning. Ours were also very clean.
(2) Great location. Easy walk into town for meals, shopping, etc. Even better: private beach with loungers and umbrellas. Beach is sandy and water relatively shallow. You can’t reserve loungers, so walk down early to put your towels etc on the ones you want and you’re set.
(3) Nice amenities. This is not a luxe hotel, but the breakfast is next level. So.much.delicious.food, served on a terrace overlooking the water. We could not believe the generosity of the spread. Beach bar has drinks, food, etc to keep one hydrated and fed while sunning.
(4) Friendly staff. While many of the staff were not proficient in English (and our Turkish is rudimentary), they were unstintingly helpful.

A wonderful little boutique hotel with most pleasant host. The upper level rooms face the sea that is very close. Rooms are very clean and have all facilities. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful. All in all a great experience. Go for it.

The owner was super helpful and friendly. Easy to communicate when we need help but unfortunately as we stayed for 4 days, there were never any cleaning staff coming to clean the room or just to give us the fresh towels

Very nice boutique hotel, the nicest view of the Island. Comfortable and clean rooms. Beach just down the hill. Quite and peacefull. Helpfull employees!
