Lovely holiday in the sun. Spent 2weeks here with our 13yr old in July and loved the private beach and rooftop restaurant, yes the drinks were more expensive, but to sit with a GnT in the breeze with THAT view was amazing! Location was perfect within walking distance of all the bars and shops, although you do get hassled! Plenty of sunbeds round the lovely big pool, with a mix of greek and English music playing. The staff are all very friendly as well as the 2 resident dogs! We had an apartment which was fine and had a seperate room for the children. Just wish we had a balcony rather than a terrace. Was sad to leave Gumbet Cove, llooking to book again for next summer.

We've just returned from Gumbet Cove hotel and we had a lovely time. Rooms very clean & the showers were good, hot water & powerful. Pool, bar area & dining room all clean, tidy & well presented. Access to the beach with resident only sunbeds a big bonus. We were bed & breakfast & we found there was plenty of choice. As most other people's comments, the cost of drinks both alcoholic & soft were much more expensive than surrounding bars & restaurants. We ate there a few evenings and the food was very nice. All staff very friendly. All things considered we would happily return to this hotel in the future. Carmel and Dave

From the very first step into the hotel, the experience was wonderful!
The reception staff, lifeguards, waiters, and the entire team were polite, friendly, and spoke excellent English. Always ready to help and make the stay as comfortable as possible.
The sea is just a few steps away from the hotel — the water is crystal clear and the beach is clean and beautiful. The breakfasts are delicious and filling — you definitely won’t leave hungry. There is also a restaurant and bar on site with reasonable prices, perfect for enjoying a tasty meal or a relaxing evening.
I will definitely book this hotel again next year!

Terrible experience!
This hotel completely ruined my holiday. The reception staff are unprofessional and do not speak English, which made every single question or request stressful and frustrating. They were not willing to help, and most of the time they simply shrugged or ignored us.

The photos online are very misleading. The beach is small, dirty, and the sunbeds are broken. The pool is cloudy and smells strongly of chlorine. Breakfast was awful — old products, no real choice, not even decent coffee.

For the price, this hotel is a complete rip-off. I would never come back and I would never recommend it to anyone.

First impression ruined – felt unsafe

Just checked in and already regretting it.
The hotel is in a very isolated and dark area. Receptionist doesn’t speak English. I asked for water and a man came barefoot, poorly dressed, and looked at me from head to toe in a very disturbing way.

I’m traveling alone, and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place for solo travelers – especially women. I also heard a woman screaming next door while a man was trying to stop her from leaving. It was terrifying.Food was terrible . croissants at breakfast had a bad smell, and the restaurant is overpriced with inedible dishes. My fish and fries both had a strong, unpleasant odor and tasted off. Daytime staff was helpful, but evening service was poor. Good for families, not recommended for solo travelers.

Hi, this was a last minute deal from Co-op Travel through Jet2 and my first time travelling to Gumbet in Turkey. I have always been sceptical about this country but decided to give it a go. The package included flights, transfers and B&B for a week so first the flight was good, transfers fine and as l arrived at the hotel it was the early hours of the morning, booking in was OK although the language barrier was testing to be honest Incidentally the advert didn't mention some of the additional cost involved I. e, safe 2euro a day, A/C euro a day and so on but definitely needed both. After a few hours sleep l had a wander around the grounds and facilities which were good, pool was nice, pool bars (2) prices double what you can get if you go out into the local area the breakfast was something else not my palette at all, buffet style the only like warm food was occasionally chunky type potato and a runny looking scrambled eggs which reminded me of the morning after a dozen pints and a curry 🤢 boiled eggs in shells, the rest all cold, cheese, salami etc. drinks like coffee, flavoured teas OK, one of the staff a little guy who was always in the restaurant was a pain watching everything you did and didn't like you filling your own water bottles up🤔. The room was basic but cleanish and very tired the TV never worked although l don't go on holiday to watch TV, l had read somewhere that this hotel was for Adults only but no, plenty of kids there especially on the weekend when the place was invaded by what looked like locals with all their families shouting riding bikes, scooters around the pool area and pathways. I don't mind kids but when your trying to rest and sunbathe it is difficult to with all this going on. The two domestics who cleaned the room every two days were lovely and assisted me in changing the quilt for a sheets, good job you can translate on Google. All in all as a 2star it was acceptable although when the staff decided to lite the BBQ with wood black smoke and soot was distributed all over the pool surface, all over the sunbeds people complained but they tended to do it each day 😷 however, should you choose to stay here there is a bar/restaurant just down the road called Cool Runnings the drinks were half the price of the hotel and the food was excellent in fact l went there every day/night a lovely family run business. The journey home was OK but be prepared for queuing up at the airport at Bodrum you go through 3 security areas as well as booking in, good luck if you decide to go, thanks for reading.

The staff are amazing especially Ammahed he was attentive to all residents. The site is gorgeous and the rooms are spotless, two lovely resident dogs on site. The cleaners take real pride. It's value for money, the negatives are poor food, uncomfortable beds, limited plug sockets. The front entrance is very dated, the owners don't make an effort with their guests but Ammahed anf others were kind, fun and attentive. We loved it because it has its own beach, ground staff are always tidying and cleaning. Lovely spot.....would go back...

Had a lovely stay at the Cove hotel. Lovely quiet family run hotel. Staff have been really pleasant and took an interest in my activities, always checking if I needed anything. Room was spotless and quiet. I used room facilities for my own breakfast each day which was fine. Fridge was freezing. Didn't use the aircon as wasn't hot enough. I had apt 4 which was more secluded with trees outside and this was ideal and quiet. I would most definitely come back here again.

The location is beautiful and the host is absolutely great! He was kind and allowed us to checkin early morning, but the reception (a bit clueless). Room was basic and comfortable. The beach and poolside is great. Overall a comfortable stay and great hospitality !
Maybe the receptionist could know better english, be better informed. Otherwise nothing.

What a little gem this is, location is spot on, rooms a little dated but clean. Only down side is the breakfast not the best, did b&b, very limited choice, wish we d done self catering now, family run business, owner is always around but didn't find him welcoming, tony is your man for anything, he's one of the staff and definitely made our stay so much better. My only issue was that we were on a late flight home at night and I asked if we could keep on the room, told to ask the day before, which would be a £40 charge, I did this to be told we couldn't keep our room as it wasn't available, we could switch to another , or just use a shower room after 5pm, it made sense to just use a shower room rather than move our stuff to another room and pay £40 for doing the exact same thing. When we went to reception at 5pm we were told they don't have a shower room and not sure if there was somewhere we could change, to come back at 7pm, but we were being picked up at 8pm. This doesn't make sense, what hotel doesn't have anywhere to shower or even change, it's standard, I said no we want to shower now and eat before the bus came and picked us up, eventually the receptionist got us a room and when we used the shower the cold water tap fell off in my hand so in the end I just filled the sink and washed myself down, this needs to be addressed as its not very good for guests.
