Zinbad Hotel Kalkan in Kalkan

I booked this hotel having read the majority of the reviews and liking the overall look of the hotel. When we first arrived we were greeted on reception and given information about breakfast etc. Once they showed us to our room we looked around and was not impressed. Hairs in the bed and under the pillows. Thick dust under and around furniture where just the main areas had been swept/mopped. A wet cigarette found in the bin!! Dirty fridge and cups. The lady on reception called the cleaner in for us, who didn't seem surprised by what we found in the slightest, and she kindly upgraded our room, which was much better as we had a balcony but still not 100% clean. The aircon remote also wasn't for our aircon unit so we had to get them to swap the remote.
The breakfast wasn't great, neither me nor my partner (who isn't a fussy eater) enjoyed it.

We, unfortunately, wouldn't stay at this hotel again for the above reasons.

However, the location is excellent, really close to the beach front, and the hotel wasn't hard to find. We didn't struggle for parking as we went at the end of the summer season and there is a car park right behind the hotel. The local restaurants are expensive and more for tourists so we drove to Kaş in the evening.
