Caretta Pansiyon in Kalkan

A wonderful family run hotel tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Kalkan.

The staff at Caretta are very welcoming, friendly and did their utmost at ensuring our stay was a pleasant one.

You have direct access to the sea via their beach club which is perfect for individuals who enjoy a more peaceful relaxing vibe, unlike traditional beach clubs who blast music all day long. Additionally, this is a fantastic spot for snorkelling with so much sea life to see.

The location is fantastic if you prefer a quieter stay, by car you reach the city centre in only a few minutes, however by walking it would be 15 minutes.

Our room was quite large and very comfortable, with a big fridge and a brand new AC unit. The balcony was cute with ample space and a drying rack for your clothes.

Breakfast was a traditional Turkish breakfast and wonderful sea view, what more could you want, right?

Also if you’re a dog lover then this is the perfect place for you as the owners have many cute dogs in and around the reception area. They do, however, spend most of the day sleeping and cause no bother at all to the guests.

My wife and I couldn’t recommend Caretta Hotel & Beach Club more.

If you’re looking for the best view and the friendliest staff, Caretta is the place to be.
Murat, the owner, is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available if you need anything.
Maia and the team (especially Saïd) are polite, attentive, and always ready to help.

My room was clean, had a balcony, and offered a spectacular view.
Staying here truly feels like home — peaceful, with a warm atmosphere and great energy to relax and recharge.

There’s no sandy beach, but you can jump straight into the sea or enjoy the small seawater pool.
I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this hotel if, like me, you love calm and nature.

Absolutely loved this hotel, if you want an authentic Turkish experience with fabulous staff & breakfasts, not to mention the best welcomes from their gorgeous dogs. Caretta is a great choice. Yes, there could be more maintenance work done around the place but for the time we stayed it didn’t matter at all. We loved it and would return. Thank you all at the Caretta.

Fantastic location, beautiful sea, friendly staff! Includes filling breakfast and other food and drink options at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The owner Murat is very kind and always happy to help. He even arranged airport shuttle for us and drove us to the shuttle pick up on our last day. This is an ideal place for a relaxing vacation. Book it with no doubt. We can't wait to return!

Such a great place with excellent service and fantastic location! If you are looking for a lovely view, private terraces with direct access to the sea and crystal clear water, this is the place! Rooms are clean and neat, daily service provided. The owner Murat bey was so friendly and helpful, we will miss those lovely evening conversations with him accompanied with cute Miss Shira and Mr Camur, amazing English Setters and icons of the Hotel. Also we really appreciate the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, they are fantastic! In the end our plans to stay for a couple of nights have changed and stayed for 10 days! It was an awesome experience! Thank you so much!

We stayed 3 nights.
The location is magnificent, the rooms are large, clean and bright and overlook the sea.
The staff is friendly and helpful for every request, we also had a nice dinner, with relaxation and privacy on the sea view terrace.
There is no confusion and it is ideal for those seeking relaxation and rest in an exclusive setting.
One flaw? Not to have stayed longer! See you soon!

A budget hotel perfectly placed on the outskirts of Kalkan. Right on the waters edge with private bathing and sunbathing. Clean and tidy hotel room and staff who always seemed to be on hand whatever time of day. A great location.
