Note for the seasoned traveller: 4-star hotels in Turkey tend to be a bit arbitrary and subjective in their standard. This hotel tries, but does not quite succeed. It is ok for an ok city that is still growing.

Overall it is a great place to stay. The location is great, very central and just a short stroll to the famous promenade. Very suitable for self-driving hotels, clean, sanitary and comfortable. The breakfast was quite rich, and the waiters were constantly cleaning and straightening the dishes that had been moved. We had a great 3 day stay at The Pearl. We loved the outlay of the hotel with all rooms having private acccess to the pool from the terrasse. The whole architecture and design was in a modern style and since the hotel does not have too many rooms it creates a super relaxing atmosphere. Compared to other hotels in Ölüdeniz, we would always choose The Pearl again!

The location of the hotel is perfect and we had a relaxing time in Akyaka. We stayed at the end of the season. Shop was closed. Pool was cold even though the weather was perfect. Room was clean but out of the way. Breakfast was strange....usual omelette man and good range of cheese etc.... but no fruit juice, flavoured teas, melon or toaster.

We stayed in Sofia Ada for three nights and enjoyed our stay quite a bit. I wish we stayed longer. It is a nice place with friendly owners and staff.
