has to be one of the worst hotels i have ever been to. 1st of all, i cannot even shower in the bathtub as the water end up leaking on the floor, bathtub had very visible soap stains , dirt on the floor. 2nd of all, room is spacious but very dim also with random dirt n dust on the floor. therefore, hotel looks decent from the outside but the rooms are not .

The Lycus River Thermal Hotel is best suited for travelers whose primary focus is on accessing extensive thermal spa and wellness facilities and who are willing to overlook potential shortcomings in service, general cleanliness, or dining.
It provides a great base for visiting the surrounding Pamukkale attractions and offers plenty of on-site recreation. However, guests expecting a high level of polish, immaculate rooms, and top-tier hospitality may find the experience somewhat disappointing compared to typical international 5-star resorts.

The room is large and bright. The hotel is big and not handicap and elderly friendly. There is no elevator. It is difficult to bring the luggage from lobby to the room, vice versa if not for the help of the bellboy, so credit to them. The food options are ok, not the best. Some of the older waiters are not polite, which is presumably caused by the stressful workload with so many guests and insufficient pairs of hands.

The price was 1500 per night, but the facilities, ambiance, and food were comparable to a 100 RMB hostel in Shanghai. While clean, the facilities were basic, and the lobby lacked air conditioning. Pamukkale hotel options are limited, so I was only there for one night. Luckily, Pamukkale was flooded that day, and the flooded landscape was breathtakingly beautiful.

Rooms are okay, but they have very large dining restaurant and awesome hotel bar and the best and awesome Hot Spring Pool that's open until 11pm!!
Highly highly recommending the Thermal Pool at the hotel. The general consensus in my travel group was that they wanted to stay one more night so they can use the Thermal Pool again!
