If you are gold or diamond member, you will have access to the executive lounge which is again the best you would find in any Hilton. I was in İzmir for work and urgently needed a stable, high-speed internet connection for a video conference. The hotel I initially stayed at offered only around 4 Mbps, and the connection was frustratingly unstable. I even checked the Marriott nearby, which had slightly better speeds at 10–12 Mbps, but still not ideal for video calls. Then I tested the Wi-Fi at Mövenpick—and was genuinely impressed...

Another nice stay at this hotel. It is not the cheapest but provides a good service and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The showers are particularly nice and powerful. They are doing some renovation at the moment but still all good. The bar is a bit small but we still managed. Prices are a bit high but no different to other hotels. Recommended

Hotel location is very good. Hotel staffs are very friendly and polite. Meanwhile hotel facility is quite old. I’m living just next to Renaissance hotel in Shanghai, Putuo. I was expecting such a similar experience but disappointed with facilities. I’d recommend you to pay a bit more and stay at Marriott hotel which is at walking distance for a better experience. Ege Palas was a great place to stay, it really made a difference in my visit to Izmir, especially Meriç, a receptionist, who was really kind and helpful, and spoke a bit of español! Onburo was also very helpful. The hotel is located in a very well connected, safe and beautiful area, almost in front of the sea. I recommend you consider it if you're visiting Izmir.
