Konak Tuncel Efe in Datca

Prime location with good view, small private beach along public walkway across the back entrance.
Rooms were clean with basic and old decor, breakfast was good, lift made it accessible to upper floors.
Apart from all this there was almost no hospitality with strict and absurd rules for a boutique hotel, made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Owner/manager Semra should be in another business, or employ a professional manager.
She does not know how to greet guests, not approachable and rather turns her head and walks away.
Most of all though if you want to rest and sleep book another hotel like we did after two nights (had booking for five nights).
Heavy and loud music till 12.30 - 1 am every night at the hotel and bar next door which is also owned by same person, made it unbearable for us.
I felt sorry for some of the staff like Yunus bey and kitchen staff who were kind, obligingly, willing to help but were influenced and controlled by the owner to assist otherwise.
