Panormos Hotel in Didim

We were totally scammed when we bought a villa back in 2008 from the owner at the time his name was Murat and his mum and dad owned this hotel t
We lost thousands of pounds through Murat do not buy anything from him or ignite homes a Yazin Ozcan they ruined our lives

Had the unfortunate experience of staying here after our flight was cancelled from Manchester airport on 23rd June due to the power cut.

One of the first things to notice here was the hotel is very dated. We had 2 rooms. The toilet door did not lock and the shower was leaking. The 2nd bed is like a trolley rather than a bed

No help with taking luggage to rooms or taking out when leaving. £5 per day for AC. Not seen this in any other place.

Guests are not allowed to bring anything from outside except water. As someone previously mentioned you're watched every time you enter the hotel with any kind of bag. Whilst I understand this as a business, if everyone brought stuff from the shop next door they'll be out of business.

However, what I didn't understand is not allowing kids ice cream or lollies when they don't actually sell these themselves or snacks for children like crisps etc. Reason cited is food causes flies and pests. Not sure how that works when the hotel serves its own food and drink all day.

Majority of their guests are elderly pensioners and this certainly doesn't help when travelling with kids. Could see few annoyed faces when kids were in the pool.

Staff are very friendly except a couple who have power trip issues. One guy from behind the bar came to say food is not allowed at hotel premises, pointed out it's water and kids lollies. He then said lollies are not allowed either.

I would certainly mention the cleaners who were brilliant when it came to cleaning the room daily. Only allowed towel change twice a week.

Sayed is truly a gem of a person and very friendly individual.

Avoid if travelling with young children or you do not want to eat from the hotel every day.
