Maia Luxury Beach Hotel & Spa in Guzelcamli

There is nothing luxury about this hotel. We reached out about shuttle pickup at airport, they agreed and confirmed via email. We get to the airport no car in site. We called the hotel they told us there was a mix up and could not get us. So now we are stranded at the airport and hour 1/2 away in a place where taxis charge 3x the amount. We end up paying for a taxi and arrive at the hotel and the hotel manager has the balls to tell us that they don’t offer airport services as an offering and they were just trying to help us out. It literally states on their website as an amenity. The hotel manager Enver was so rude!! He then proceeded to put us in a room where the A/C did not work. The hotel rooms were nice but the shower and sink did not drain well. Also, they advised as they are a “spa” hotel. They have no spa it has been under construction for the last 2 years. Where the spa should be is all of the laundry, sheets everywhere. Do not be fooled by the pictures online.

First of all I’d like to stay I didn’t stay at the hotel. I wanted to have breakfast and use beach/pool for the day but ended up leaving after breakfast. This is NOT a luxury hotel. It’s an okay 3 star hotel with wanna-be bohemian vibes and a nice Instagram. Staff is sweet and facilities are clean but cheao materials and interior, cheap workmanship, and just in general går from luxury

Well, first of all, don't fall for the pics of this hotel :) it's not looking like at all. We were looking for a hotel with a parking lot and its popped up claim has parking lot and simply it was the alley with the hotel located in! In the pictures you may see something like sand beach. It's not a beach at all. The hotel has a docs fiiled by sand and put 4 pairs of sun lounger and umbrella:))) And access to the sea is through a part of dock with ladder!
The facility itself is clean and new. But it's not that kinda big resort like hotel. The meal option is limited, but quality and taste are acceptable. Friendly staff will serve you in restaurant.
We stayed 4 days. No one cleaned room only after we talked to the manager and asked them to send someone to clean. It is very far from the city, like 30 min driving.

The only thing I was satisfied with was the size and view of the room. Most of the employees who work here are nice, but the team is generally quite young and inexperienced. This hotel has 4 stars but organizationally it looks more like a 1 star hotel.

We have seen times where the food was not topped up and definitely not kept warm. This while the hotel offers breakfast and dinner for at least 170 euros per night.

The breakfast food was very tasteless and oily. For example, they had small croissants that were very hard and dry potatos. The well-known Turkish breakfast 'menemen', which you expect to be very tasty, was disappointingly bad. You wonder if there is seriously 1 manager within this hotel who tastes this and thinks we can continue with the 'menemen'.

The breakfast and dinner are not of the best quality, but I didn't yet started about the food that you can order in between during the day.
The food you can order is on the expensive side and even worse than the food they offer during breakfast/dinner. I'm really starting to wonder what kind of chefs work here?

They offer cheddar cheese fries but I seriously wonder if they know the concept of cheddar cheese on (loaded) fries.. We left a large portion, because it was terrible [see picture]. And look at my toast.

We were done with the food of this hotel. In the end, we decided to go out for dinner and lunch multiple times.

As you read above I really didn't like the food. Besides that sometimes there is no hot water in the shower and there are stains on the pillow and beachtowels.
