Depends what you're after. If you want you want glitz and glamour. Go 5 star. This is brilliant for me. Relaxing. Just off the main road. Great team, great rooms. Relaxing atmosphere, beds are great too. Respectable English brekkie. Far enough away from the main town to be a quiet getaway. Close enough to be able to walk in (1.5km). I'll only use this hotel in this area.

Staff are fantastic, so helpful and accommodating. The room was very basic, which was fine, but the bathroom let's it down. It was very small and had a toilet, wash basin and shower on the wall next to the toilet (like a wet room) so everything got wet. A lovely Turkish breakfast included or pay for Full English. Had a great time here.

Me and my wife can’t wait to go back next month it was our 1st time in turkey last year and booked again before we left. 5 star it isn’t but it’s small and friendly. It tells you something when people return year after year to same hotel my sister 4 times others we met more than that .quite location lovely views and staff and the price is right

I had a really bad time at this hotel, which was booked through Travel Republic. The staff made me feel unwelcome, and the breakfast was dire—a half slice of sausage if I was lucky, not enough to feed a cat. The room was poorly attended; one wet bath towel was left outside to dry and was not changed. The cleaner left the door open, leaving the room unsecured. There was no fridge, and the shower water was warm if I was lucky. The room was cold in the evening.
When I came back late after enjoying my day away, I ordered a drink from an unmotivated barman. The security guard mentioned that the barman wanted to go to bed soon.
Overall, the room was basically clean but had no fridge, a poor shower, and poor room security. The customer service was poor, and the staff were unmotivated. Additionally, calls from an adjacent mosque at 4:00 a.m. woke me in the early hours of the morning.
Travel Republic was responsible for this fiasco. I would give this hotel a rating of 2/10

Gorkem Hotel was great for the price we paid through travel Republic. Cheap and cheerful, if your expectation are high for the prices then your a fool. Rooms are basic but we didn't mind that at all as we only used it as a base camp. Breakfast is a Turkish breakfast which is great if you like fruit cheese and the other stuff. Can get optional extras if required, which I did 1 day a full English and to be fair was bang on for the money. Pool was great and facilities were good as well. Family run business who were very tentative with all our needs. Overall it was just what we needed for our stay as said previously, we didn't stay in the hotel area much as we ventured out every day, if we wanted a quiet break we would definitely use this hotel again for the price.

My family and I stayed for 10 days at the gorkem hotel in june. The rooms were clean and comfortable with balconies overlooking the mountains, beautiful ! All the staff were helpful, friendly and polite. The food at the hotel was very good and not expensive. We had a great holiday ! Thank you to all the staff at the gorkem hotel !

Great family run hotel to which hundreds of regular & new guests return year after year always great service & laughter aplenty.... Brilliant service by all of the family & staff & all guests have fun every time.... Give it a try but don't book room 108 it's mine o.k. ?
