Scala Hotel in Turunc

We stayed for three nights. The rooms were unhygienic. The staff was attentive, but it's a family business, far from being institutional. While you're swimming in the pool, they're sitting next to you, chatting privately. The breakfast is terrible. The dinners are good, but overall, it's not worth the money. It's only worth it if you stay for a third of the room price. The Turunç area is also very boring for a three-night stay. There's seemingly nothing to do in the evenings. Apartments for a family of four cost 250 TL, but if you go, there are much cleaner apartments. This hotel was a huge disappointment for us.

Breakfast and meals are inadequate. Breakfast is the same every day, only one type. You have absolutely no choice. If you can't eat that food, there's nothing you can do. The hotel owner is constantly watching what you eat. There's no cleanliness. There were insects and dirt on the stairs, and trash on the floors. No one cleaned it for 4 days. The stains in the toilet were never cleaned. Tea and lemonade are always free and genuinely good. The staff are tense and unhappy, and so is the hotel owner. Everyone shows artificial, forced respect and interest (except for two young children and a woman). Turkish coffee is charged extra. The coffee itself tastes like dishwater. Only the woman is friendly. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the sea. They've made an agreement with another hotel. You use their sun loungers, if you can find a spot. And if you go in the midday heat, maybe you'll find one. If you can't, nobody cares. We stayed for 4 nights and no one came to clean even once. The trash can in the room was full, I had to change it myself. You don't feel at home. It feels like you're a burden, not paying for it, but just asking for it. Management is important and determines your future. If you are professional, solution-oriented, and friendly, you will be the winner. But if you act aggressively like Mr. Alparslan, displaying artificial behavior and problem-focused attitudes, speaking in a scolding tone, and prioritizing your own ego over customer satisfaction, I don't think your future will be long. The shopkeepers in the Turunç region are focused on money. They add ten times the price to the price and sell at exorbitant rates. People have looted Şok and A101 because the prices are outrageous. Would I go again? Of course not. Why would I ruin my once-a-year vacation with my own money?
