The Room was clean and had enough space, but doors should be repaired after the years..they seemed not to get shut 100%.
The food was down in the Restaurant ‚Happily‘. It was not bad. But if it would not have been included to our booking we would not eat more than twice there.
The staff of the restaurant is very friendly and nice and trying hard. But they always either forget something or confuse the food.. not very professional. It happened every day.
So all in all it is a nice stay with great location and good rooms.
If you want better service and food you could look around somewhere else.
Staff in restaurant for breakfast have not been trained well
The first day, the waiter told us every person could get only 1 egg!!!
On 2nd day, another waiter didn't bring egg and when I complain, he said in traditional breakfast there is no egg provided. I asked for the menu and showed him egg is included, so he brought 2 eggs per person!!!
We asked for more bread and they looked at us in a way that why we are asking for more bread.
I do recall military services where you have a pre-determined meal and snack
Also like prison that you would be punished if you ask for more!!!!
The downfall is the miserable WiFi. Ironically, we had better WiFi on the pool deck than inside the actual building. It literally did not connect to any of the devices inside the room. The air conditioning is also pretty bad. You enter the room warm, and the air conditioners are not powerful whatsoever. The rooms had some wear and tear but were clean. Also, the mini fridge is apparently not supposed to be cold. This is what we were told by the front desk. They said it is meant to “chill” things, which it didn’t really do.
Front desk staff was awesome. We had a late night meal from the Happily restaurant which is attached to the hotel, and that was very good.
