A brief overview of my experience: 1. The rooms are extremely dark and also smell as hole that never opens. 2. The services is quite close to selfservice, it’s terrible, they do not give clear times for meals. 3. The internet doesn’t work in our room. 4. The shower is uncomfortable to use, due to a particular system that is has. 5. The noise coming from the others rooms is unbearable. In conclusion it’s the worst experience in Turkey.

We stayed at Medusa cave hotel in Aug 2024. Our experience was not as good as we would have liked. We had booked a family room and were allotted one on the ground floor. One of the days it rained heavily and drain water was noticed gushing out flooding the area and the approach to our room. As a matter of fact, the drain water gushed inside our room and we had to ourselves empty the same as there was just the guy at reception to manage the situation. Subsequently working hands came and cleaned our room. Pros - location, quiet, decent linen, safe Cons - very very poor (read non existent) wifi in family room, limited items in breakfast served en masse (not buffet) and the occupants of the room are required to have breakfast together. A family of four is required to have breakfast together as it is laid out for all four on one table. Occupants cannot have food separately or individually, average maintenance, our bathroom mirror was completely cracked. We will avoid staying there again.

Our room (a Deluxe double) had a strong smell of humidity and mold, in the bathroom there were mold stains and the bad smell came from the carpets hanging from the ceiling. In addition, in the room we saw various rubber tubes coming from the ceiling and ending in vases sometimes full of water (we had to call the reception to have them emptied). Good hotel in close proximity to downtown. Restaurants are within walking distance. Balloons can be observed from the terrace which has good views. The staff are friendly and can arrange tours. Complimentary breakfast is excellent. It is highly recommended.

Such a nice hotel in the center of Goreme ! The atmosphere in the room was amazing! A cave room with all equipment to feel comfortable! Breakfast was delicious ! The best omelette and every day with had something new to try ! Nice view from terrace.. we could see the air balloons from there ! A the staff was so kind and friendly ! Thank you guys we spent nice out time in your hotel !!

Hotel was in a fabulous location. Hotel was amazing. The rooms had everything you needed and were quirky. Jasmine's breakfast was unbelievable. She was lovely and very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel. Perfect place for wondering around Gozeme

Excellent breakfast served with lots of love by ladies. Comfortable hotel, a bit dark as you would expect in a cave hotel. Hygiene was good. Its quite close to Cappadocia main bazaar in Goreme. Recommended but make sure you do your homework before you go

One of the best hotels in Cappadocia. If you are looking at a hotel which is close to city this is ideal. Friendly and helpful staff members always guided us and provided the maximum they can at anytime. Its just 10 minutes away from balloon watching location

An experience unlike any other. Our cave room was phenomenal. Extremely comfortable beds and the facilities were top notch. Great bathroom too! Fantastic and supportive staff. Breakfast was great. Can't wait to go back.

I stayed one night great hotel with great staff. Very kind and helpful. The hotel has a terrace with beautiful view of the hot air balloons early morning.

Hospitable, friendly, helpful in all areas of concern regarding tourist information. A peacful relaxing environment situated up high overlooking the most spectacular views from an open air garden. The cave rooms are inviting, cosy & characteristic of this part of Turkey

Even though we arrived after midnight, the staff welcomed us with smile and explained everything. Also they waited for us to have breakfast next morning even though we showed up late. Having a breakfast in the balcony, watching hot air balloons floating around us was spectacular! It was like another world. They offered us one day tour on a SUV and we got to visit many highlights efficiently. It is not cheap but worth the money. They can interpret if you need. When I had some clothes to dry, after washing them in my room, they kindly invited us to the rooftop and let us use their clothesline, which was super helpful. I would definitely come back!
