Alaca Cave Cappadocia in Goereme

Dont put up your expectation
+ receptionist guy is nice and patient in answering our question about trip
+ near to love valley and 5 minutes from center
- room conditions are different from picture
- i dont mind the old room but this one soo dusty and moldy, I can feel stone crumbs on the carpet/floor coming from the ceiling and cave wall. Daily room clean up only for changing trash bins.
- We stay in a triple room but only get 1 towel
.- not elderly friendly, as there are many stairs and it's dark. You can barely walk as they use auto lights.

- We came in a family group of 5 and sometimes conversations are not avoidable, the worker keeps telling us to voice low and go to the rooftop to talk and close the door in a very rude way.

One morning, i went up to outdoor rooftop to catch baloon view and take pics, once i finish i went inside restaurant  and took pictures all over restaurant as it has nice view and still empty.

I realized one worker sleeping under a blanket, i took pics of the restaurant with him inside and SUPRISINGLY, he suddenly woke up and shouted in anger to me and pick up a fight in Turkish language. He doesn't speak good English, but the way he made it was so inappropriate. I dont feel secure with him alone in a restaurant.

He was in cursing and swearing tone in very close distance with myself, then He GRAB my phone and seemed to like to throw my phone away but he only kept it on his other hand.  After that he deleted pic on my phone. I Said sorry and keep say to give back my phone, but he keep shouted at me. I told him did have the intention to do anything with picture him but he kept screaming at me from a very close distance.

I would have  screamed if he didn't give back my phone in 1 minute. but luckily he gave it back and told me to go. I feel scared and shocked about this and  I told my family about this but we just want to leave this place asap as there is no point in bringing up this case. Anyway He was not supposed to take the guest's phone by force.

1 hour later, we all came back and he served bfast but kept saying "no video" "no photo" . Lucky that was our last day, and I took pic as much i could as many guest also having bfast

This is crazy situation, hotel owner should not let people like him work in hospitality area. And again, i dont feel safe as a woman and as the way he angry.

crazy . i would report this hotel as bad and not recommended hotel in goreme!

PICK another hotel , not this one!
