The communication, service, and reception were excellent. The place is comfortable, with a beautiful view. The room is wonderful and very comfortable. The bed is also comfortable and clean. Your energy is focused in this room because it's made of stone with a beautiful historical character. They have lovely and friendly cats. I recommended decorating and buying birthday items for my wife, and the arrangement was appropriate and beautiful. I highly recommend it. Don't hesitate.

We had an overall pleasant stay. The view is beautiful and we just loved the stone-look.

Small boutique hotel in Goreme. The service level is basically an airbnb (we actually booked though the platform), but the location and the building are great.

Near to the bus station and restaurants. Got a great rooftop view. Able to check in early thanks to the admin. Got free netflix too. Wifi a bit slow. Overall great service. Love from Malaysia.

I had such a pleasant stay at Takunya Cave Hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Cappadocia. We arrived very early in the morning, planning only to drop off our luggage, but to our surprise, the receptionist kindly allowed us to check in early since our room was already available. This thoughtful gesture made our arrival so much more comfortable after a long journey.
The receptionist was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel right at home. The room itself was exactly as shown on the website. Clean, cozy and full of the unique cave-style charm that Cappadocia is known for.
Another highlight is the hotel’s convenient location. It’s very close to the bus station and within walking distance to shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area without needing transport.
Overall, everything about our stay exceeded expectations from the warm hospitality to the comfortable room and the perfect location. I’m very happy with my experience here and would definitely stay again.

The cleanliness was extremely poor.
There was a whole cockroach on the floor.
The sheets were covered in dust and mold.
After explaining the situation to the staff, I asked to change rooms.
They flatly refused. They vacuumed the cockroaches away and then used the same vacuum nozzle on the table. It was disgusting.
They said the dust on the bed was just fallen from the ceiling and they just brushed it off with their hands.
They said there was nothing wrong and refused to change rooms.
There was a whole cockroach on the floor.

The Worst service I've ever experienced. I checked in around 14.00. I paid cash, unpacked and went sightseeing. When I came back at 20.30 I was told that someone else booked this room online and all my stuff was lying in the corridor. I was told I can sleep outside on the terrace (!) or find myself different hotel. I travel a lot but it was the worst experience I've ever had. Moreover, later it turned out that EUR 50 was missing from my luggage pocket. STAY AWAY from this place.

- Room is a proper cave but has sewage smell emanating from bathroom which is bad. Also customer service is not great. I booked for two night and within 24hrs and about 10 days before the trip I asked for a little flexibility to change only one day but they declined. Well within their right to do so but very unusual for a properly not to consider and be flexible with customer. Customer service was totally inflexible and not very considerate. Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!

I stayed one night great hotel with great staff. Very kind and helpful. The hotel has a terrace with beautiful view of the hot air balloons early morning.

Hospitable, friendly, helpful in all areas of concern regarding tourist information. A peacful relaxing environment situated up high overlooking the most spectacular views from an open air garden. The cave rooms are inviting, cosy & characteristic of this part of Turkey

Even though we arrived after midnight, the staff welcomed us with smile and explained everything. Also they waited for us to have breakfast next morning even though we showed up late. Having a breakfast in the balcony, watching hot air balloons floating around us was spectacular! It was like another world. They offered us one day tour on a SUV and we got to visit many highlights efficiently. It is not cheap but worth the money. They can interpret if you need. When I had some clothes to dry, after washing them in my room, they kindly invited us to the rooftop and let us use their clothesline, which was super helpful. I would definitely come back!
