Grand Saroglu in Kalan

+++Hotel is well located and rooms are clean
- - - materials and stuff are too old, it seems they have not been changed for years. Breakfast is poor

We spent 3 nights in the Şaroğlu Hotel from 16.-19.7.2021 to met our Family in Tunceli. The staff is very friendly. The room is ok, no balcony available. The bathroom is not good for older people. There is a bathtub that has been fitted with sliding doors. Getting in and out proves difficult and it is smooth. There are hardly any ways to hold on properly. The hair dryer didn't work so I called the front desk. In the meantime I saw in passing that a fuse was off. Then the hair dryer went. So called the front desk again and let them know that the problem has been solved.
It was also a problem to order one beer on the room. The man on the reception did not understand what I wanted, so I told him to come down myself and got a beer at the bar. During the payment I was really surprised, that they asked 33 TL for 1 beer. In Turkey that is really expensive, and I think it is not fair, to ask that much for a guest.
Anyway I don't care for the price, but without any service...
The breakfast was included and is located in the top floor of the hotel. You do not have to expect an international breakfast. It is ok, nothing more.
We made the reservation through otelfiyat and expected a price of 1236 TL, but when we checked out, the woman at the reception told me, that they do not accepted the price of otelfiyat and that we had to pay instead 1350 TL.
It's such a cheek, I've never experienced anything like it in my entire hotel overnight life. It is probably due to the high season and the Corona has of course left behind losses that somehow have to come back in from the paying tourists.
The bottom line is not exactly recommendable. If you could assign minus stars ...
