I highly recommend this place. The building is one of the oldest buildings in the town, which used to belong to the priest of the old church located opposite of Sari Gelin Pansiyon. It is a typical old-style Greek House. You can have your delicious breakfast at the garden (my favourite place) while enjoying the chill and authentic atmosphere. The rooms are extremely tidy and clean. You should stay couple of days in Ayvalik, there are many things to see around here.

Ayvalık'ın son derece merkezi bir noktasında, Çınarlı Cami'nin hemen arkasında şirin, ufak bir pansiyon Sarıgelin. Tuncel Kurtiz'in eski evini pansiyona çeviren Hazar Hanım mükemmel bir ev sahibi. Verdiği tavsiyeler ve sohbetiyle tatilimizi güzel bir şekilde geçirmemize büyük katkı sağladı. Teşekkür ederiz.

Walking distance to the centre. The market, the beach, everything is very close. There are 2 most important features besides all of these.
The first is that master artist Tuncer Kurtiz has a house in Ayvalık. The memories still live there. It's like sitting in the garden. As if he was going to come out of a room and say, "Forgiveness and forgetting is the revenge of good people, nephew...". You will not be forgotten, Master.
The second is the friendly, hardworking, helpful owner Hazar Hn. It tells you all the places and recipes of Ayvalık to make your holiday even better. If you forget, he tells it over and over again. A smile is never missing from his face.

Hazar is a very sweet person. He cares deeply about his guests and does his best to please them. If you are looking for a sweet boutique hotel in the center of Ayvalık, you will be happy here. The rooms are very sweet and clean. A delicious breakfast was prepared daily in the garden. We were very pleased to stay as guests in this hostel. Thank you.🙏🏻🌸

I would like to thank Ms. Hazar for her smiling face and sincerity. I would also like to thank Ms. Cennet for her interest and understanding of service. Of course, the sincerity and meticulousness of every detail helps you establish a connection with this place. It was one of the rare places where I said I would come again. Sarı Gelin was cleaner, warmer and more well-kept than the hotels we stayed in. Ms. Hazar's conversation, warmth and care made us feel like we were visiting relatives. If you go to Ayvalig, I strongly recommend you to go. Thank you again to Ms. Hazar for her interest 🥰
