Gizemli Konak in Ayvalik

Our recent stay in Ayvalik was truly memorable, thanks to the charming inn we chose. The property is ideally located in the heart of the town, just a short walk from the seaside, making it perfect for both exploring and enjoying the scenic views.

The room we stayed in was cozy and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable double bed. The decor throughout the inn was thoughtfully curated, reflecting the family's attention to detail and adding a touch of local character to our experience.

What stood out most was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the family who runs the inn. They were very kind and friendly. This genuine hospitality, especially from the owner who led the family with great care, made our stay feel special and personal.

Breakfast was served in a lovely inner garden that provided a peaceful and refreshing start to the day.

In summary, our experience at this family-run inn in Ayvalik was delightful. The central location, comfortable rooms, and above all, the warm family atmosphere, made it a perfect choice for a relaxing getaway. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fair-priced, homely stay in this beautiful town.

We’ve had a lovely stay at the Gizemli Konak. The property is absolutely beautiful and our hosts are gorgeous people. They’ve been so welcoming and kind. The breakfast is outstanding. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely the loveliest place to stay - the hosts are wonderful and kind, very helpful with each and every question. Doing more than is necessary. This little hotel is charming and right in the heart of where you want to be, tucked down a quiet little lane. It’s like stepping into an oasis. Rooms are neat, comfy and perfectly adequate. Good sitcom and comfy beds. We will definitely be back and the next time for longer! Thank you.

People were very friendly. Our room was so clean and good. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was so delicious. What caught my attention was the board with photos of the hotel guests that the owners had made in the courtyard of the hotel. We were also photographed and when we talked to the owner it turned out that they were roots from our country. The hotel is located in the center of the old town of Ayvaluk, which made us very happy because we walked around, mingled with the locals and saw how they live.Visit this place!❤️

This is a fantastic hotel and they definitely made us feel like home. Everyone was so friendly. Great location. Walking distance from anywhere you may want to visit in Ayvalik. Breakfast was great and the bed was so comfortable. WiFi worked seamlessly. We recommend this hotel to everyone. We will be back for sure.

If you are going to Ayvalık, I don't think you need to look for another boutique hotel. The hotel is located right in the center. You can use the motors that pass to Cunda by walking for 3-5 minutes, and you can easily visit Ayvalık again. The hotel does not have a parking lot, but there is a private parking lot nearby.

Our room was a little small but clean. It's hard to find a place that does a good job or doesn't "get crap" these days. The hotel surprised me at this point. I was also pleased that crappy shampoos that turn hair into felt, toilet paper that melts by hand, and products of unknown brands are not used. However, Gizemli Konak is very tastefully furnished. The mansion does not have a decoration consisting of eye-catching, aesthetically hostile, kitsch (kitchen) items put for business purposes, everything is arranged as needed and presented with a minimal aesthetic. These are important and plus for me.
The hotel also has a cute little garden. Here you can both relax and have breakfast in the morning. After trying the hotel's breakfast, we canceled our plan to have breakfast out the next day. Because it was both very tasty and sufficient in terms of variety.

Note: Take Menteş's advice about Ayvalık into consideration, you won't regret it.

A very charming and peaceful 3-star hotel in the very center of Ayvalık. A truly family business. Menteş Bey and Ferhan Hanım are very hardworking, sympathetic and warm people. They take personal care of the guests. Evren Bey is always ready to help with his endless energy and kindness.
The rooms are larger than they appear in the photos. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is very useful. An immaculate hotel. It is cool due to being a stone building, but the air conditioners are also very functional. Breakfast is served in a very cute courtyard. Various jams and pastries of their own making are included in the menu. All great.
We came to stay for 2 nights and we stayed for 5 nights as a result of both Ayvalık's cuteness and the sympathy of the hotel and its owners. It was a facility that we would like to visit again. Thank you so much.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience during our short 3 day stay. Emren and his uncle were so kind and welcoming, they made us feel like family the days we were there. Excellent location, excellent cleanliness and excellent price. Cannot recommend enough (especially the breakfast!)
