Excellent stay (27/8 – 31/8/2025) Friendly and prompt reception even though I arrived at 01:00 am, with luggage transfer to the room. Immediate change to a room with two single beds, free of charge

We only stayed for a night and enjoyed our stay greatly. The staff is nice, the rooms are clean and breakfast was fine (be careful as some of the things on breakfast are additionally paid for - like fresh orange juice)

The hotel is in a good location, surrounded by green land, coastline, large shopping malls and catering centers. The front desk lady and handsome guy provided good service. We changed to a quiet room with twin beds

Environment: quiet surroundings. Maybe this hotel is full of tour groups! Korean, Japanese, European. There is nothing in the refrigerator, unlike other hotels that put some paid drinks, beer, etc

The location is excellent for walking along the sea front, and the breakfast was quite nice, although we were disappointed there was no juice available

I can say the hotel is absolutely comfortable and dining hall is so clean hygenic. Waiter/waitress are so kind; Hotel also has the replica remnants decoration of the ancient city of Troy.

Unfortunately, the bathroom plumbing was inadequate to the task – the tap mixer constantly fell off, and the pull to change where the water comes out constantly defaulted to the bottom faucet rather than the handheld or overhead rainshower, making it very difficult to clean yourself

At some point during the night a very strong smell of cigarette smoke permeated the room – we’re not sure if someone was smoking outside our door in the hallway, or near wherever the air intake for the air-conditioner was

The air-conditioner struggled to keep the room cool, and the fact that the electricity turned off when you left the room meant the fridge didn’t work to keep anything cool at all

One of our rubbish bins was broken. The single sheet/blanket for each bed was quite scratchy

Nice property, wrong area. Rooms looking tied. Staff wonderful. Breakfast, a lot to eat. Seaview rooms should not be blanked this as the sea is that far away you need super power eyes vision to see it.

The room's balcony overlooked the Aegean Sea, and the pier and train station were just steps away. Restaurants were on both sides, and the Trojan Horse was a 5-minute walk from the hotel

The restaurant was on the top floor, and the Mediterranean breakfast served underground was quite sumptuous. The old-fashioned elevator with its openwork doors was reminiscent of old Europe

I stayed there twice for business with my brother, it was very nice place, however I think need some repairs in bathrooms, and need multiple chairs for guests to seat out at the balcony

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days. This was a hotel we preferred almost every year. I looked at the comments and I was surprised by some people's comments because some of them said that the hotel was dirty

In the center of Canakkale, very close to the beach, the breakfast restaurant is on the top floor, the scenery is very good, you can see the panoramic sea view

Good apartments comfortable place, taxi couldn't find it for quite some time, so take a business card before going out.

Good authentic bedroom, bathroom very small. Great breakfast served by Yusef, who was very helpful for our whole stay. Yusef recommended Yalova for dinner - delicious seafood on the waterfront

Parking is over the road from the hotel and is to be paid for but reasonably priced. The hotel organised a battlefield trip for us too. Easy walling distance of a number of seafront restaurants

Small balcony with a view of the sea from out room. Only negative was the noise from a nearby nightclub which the hotel have no control over

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice once the AC cooled it to my preference. The only drawback is if you are not a night owl, you can hear the music from the pubs until midnight or so

Nice swimming pool with sea views

Once upon a time the hotel was good. Now it's shabby. Breakfast is poor and tasteless. There are a lot of things that don't work in the rooms. The toilet in our room did not flush properly. the sea was dirty.

The hotel is nice, with direct access to the beach, no time limit. Parking is also convenient. However, the hotel's swimming pool is open at set times and closes between 7 and 8 pm.

Turkish breakfast was located in the main dining room area overlooking the pool and beach below. The spa and bars were not available when we were there. I can imagine this place is THE SPOT to be in the high season

We stayed here on a rainy Saturdaynight during the winter off season, so amenities were limited. However we had a delightful time with what was available to us. We just wanted to eat, have a hot shower and sleep

I heard that the thermal water was good for my wounded soldiers during the war, I heard that it would be good for other diseases, and we thank you for the comfort of the rooms and the friendly staff in our hotel, and I believe it would be even better if the hotel had a playground

I had read articles that said that thermal waters would be good for a relative of mine. First, I found this hotel on the recommendation of a friend and then with my own research

I should definitely mention that thermal water reduces pain in terms of healing. The rooms are as comfortable as 5 star hotel rooms, the variety of the restaurant cuisine, (especially the breakfast menu) is very good

A newly built, clean and beautiful facility, where cleanliness and hygiene are at the forefront, and the quality of service it provides is directly customer-oriented, which will make you feel at home.

Apart from all these, I would definitely recommend you to visit the ancient Alexandria Troas Ruins, which is within walking distance of the hotel and which I think gave its name to the hotel

Due to my skin issues, I went with my friend's recommendation. The smiling faces of the employees and the cleanliness of every area allowed me to have a comfortable holiday

The bed was ok and the shower worked, the room was quiet, hence 5* from me. The breakfast was ok too, although we didnt get the omelette as none of us spoke Turkish and couldnt understand the lady in charge of the plates

I had no problem checking in very late at night and there's plenty of free street parking around. None of the staff spoke much English, but they were keen to help, which is all you need

To sum up, it is recommended in summer, yet I wouldn't suggest going if you are a tourist staying temporarily in the city or a resident in other seasons

It's was a very good experience to stay for two nights at Grand Ece Otel çanakkale. The hotel is located at city centre near to sea side and very close to a lot of monuments. They are providing a very good breakfast.

Staff is welcoming, helpful and kind all the time. Open to tourists, speaking English. Very nice home made breakfast. Location is at the living heart of Cannakale. You get a good value for what you pay
