Boğaz hotel is a city centre hotel, centrally located on a back street, quiet location. Rooms and bathrooms are basic but we have had smaller rooms in Turkey so we're pleasantly surprised. It is quite dated but clean. Breakfast was adequate. The main issue was the WiFi, worst we encountered in Turkey, although when requested they can give a different WiFi that's better. It all seems to cut out after a short while

Super basic room. The showers were aweful with water not draining well and what appeared to be either wear or tear or mold in the shower. Breakfast was basic. They did have currency exchange. Quiet neighborhood. 5-10 min walk to waterfront/restaurants/shops.

This hotel has room for improvement. My room on the third floor was tight- the washroom’s door hit the toilet as it opened. Unfortunately, I felt the room was not well cared for; it felt somewhat dusty when I arrived. The hotel has a dark and dreary interior; I did not like this. This could be remedied with colourful paint on the walls and in the hallways, and better lighting and furnishings. The phone in my room was very old. At first, I couldn’t detach the receiver, and then my call to reception disconnected. The breakfast provided was decent. This hotel is a decent option if it is offered low-cost.

Room despite being smoke free, smelt of smoke. Fridge in the room did not work. Shower head did not reach for anchoring to walk. Bed very hard.

If my tour wasn’t staying here I wouldn’t! Rooms smelled bad, wifi didn’t work on any floor but the lobby area (even then it was in and out). Beds were uncomfortable, only good thing was location.

i like breakfeast ..what.i not like that "wifi" is big broblems to get contact.in room ....more what i not like ..personel from hotel not friently ....i think i never- ever go this hotel any more

Good location but a number of problems with the rooms - holes in bedsheet, bidet didn’t work, the shower didn’t drain, and worst was that the glass provided in the room (in plastic as if it had been cleaned) had fish bones in it!! Sound also travelled easily and the air conditioners made noise even though they weren’t on. The wifi usually worked, breakfast was fine.

I had no problem checking in very late at night and there's plenty of free street parking around. None of the staff spoke much English, but they were keen to help, which is all you need. The accommodation is rather basic, but this is what you pay for with the price being as low as it is, so please manage your expectation in advance. The bed was ok and the shower worked, the room was quiet, hence 5* from me. The breakfast was ok too, although we didnt get the omelette as none of us spoke Turkish and couldnt understand the lady in charge of the plates. I'd stay again if just passing through.
